Wood Frames? More Like Dud Frames

Wood frames? Please. Those splintery relics warp faster than Barney's ex-cop excuses and yellow like Lt. Ostrowski's patience with his aunties. Mirror-polished edges, unbreakable hold, and zero creaks during stakeouts. Looks pro, hangs flush, flexes style without the splinters. The Snoop Sisters (1973)

Thicker Than Ernesta Snoop's Plot Twists

Picture this: 240 g/m² glossy paper so hefty, it laughs at flimsy drugstore junk. We're talking museum-grade beast that holds vibrant colors like Ernesta holds grudges against bad guys. Deep blacks deeper than Gwendolyn's poetry readings, and shine that pops like their 1920s Lincoln sedan revving up for a chase. No fading, no curling, no regrets. Hang it, frame it, worship it. This ain't your grandma's poster; it's Ernesta and G's grandma-level toughness on your wall. Sleek edges, pro finish, built to survive nosy nephews and coven curses. Snag it before it solves its own disappearance act.

🎬 Why this The Snoop Sisters (1973) Poster is the Real Deal ? 🤩

Listen up, cult TV junkies: in a world drowning in overrated reboots, The Snoop Sisters (1973) is the underground gem exploding with granny-power sleuthing that's funnier and fiercer than anything streaming today. This poster? It's the holy grail visual of Ernesta Snoop (Helen Hayes channeling boss vibes) and Gwendolyn Nicholson (Mildred Natwick owning the widow wit), frozen in mystery-cracking glory. Hype's building because boomers are rediscovering it on YouTube, geeks are ranting on blogs, and it's the prequel to Jessica Fletcher nobody asked for but everyone needs.

Reviews? Caf tan Woman calls it a cozy mystery riot with guest stars like Geraldine Page hamming it up as a not-so-grieving heir. LitHub dubs it the OG before Murder, She Wrote, with only five epic 90-minute episodes packing more punch than modern filler seasons. Nostalgia Central raves about spinster Ernesta and poet Gwendolyn tumbling into real murders while scribbling fakes. Rotten Tomatoes nods to the drama-thriller thrills, and TV Insider pegs the synopsis dead-on: mystery writers solving actual kills.

Why a future classic? Veteran queens Hayes and Natwick, both stage legends in their 70s, out-act today's Botox brigade. Pilot swapped actors (Bert Convy as Lt. Steve, Lou Antonio as Barney the ex-cop chauffeur), but the core sizzles: Gramercy Park townhouse, 1920s Lincoln cruises, reluctant nephew cop. Episodes like Corpse and Robbers with Victor Buono and Sam Jaffe? Gold. The Devil Made Me Do It! with Cyril Ritchard and NYC covens? Witchy chaos. Inspired by 1971's Do Not Fold, Spindle or Mutilate, it tapped the senior sleuth market perfectly.

This poster's your ticket to owning the buzz. Vibrant, high-res capture of their iconic dynamic: sharp eyes, sly smirks, pure 70s TV cheese elevated to art. Wall cred skyrockets; friends grill you like NYPD on a hot case. Not available streaming wide? Doesn't matter; this print screams 'I knew it before the revival hype.' Collector's dream as YouTube views climb and podcasts dissect. Persuasive proof: it's rare, it's retro-cool, it's the snoop that started it all. Grab it, frame it, flex it. Your mystery nook won't solve itself.

Future classic status locked: short-run wheel series (NBC Tuesday Mystery Movie with Banacek) means scarcity breeds legend. Blogs buzz with trivia like Hayes' septuagenarian swagger. This poster immortalizes the hype machine revving up. Don't sleep; be the first on your block to snoop it home.

🍿 Why you need a The Snoop Sisters (1973) poster on your wall ? 🤔

This poster proves you saw it first, you sly fox. Before the TikTok toddlers discover Ernesta and Gwendolyn schooling cops in their Gramercy Park pad, your wall declares 'I was the OG fan.' Helen Hayes as spinster sleuth Ernesta? Mildred Natwick as widowed wordsmith G? Pure fire. They write mysteries for bucks, live 'em for thrills, with Barney chauffeuring chaos in that vintage Lincoln and nephew Lt. Ostrowski face-palming.

Funny? Sarcastic edge slices through 70s cheese: grannies outsmarting covens, toy factory heists, relic-smuggling witches. Five episodes, infinite swagger. This print nails their stare: 'We got this, rookie.' Hang it, and your pad levels up from bland to 'Whoa, cult status!' Guests envy, dates impress, enemies seethe. Persuasive as Ernesta's deductions: it's not decor; it's dominance.

High-energy truth: modern TV wishes for this vibe. No CGI, just acting titans (Hayes from The Long Voyage Home, Natwick Broadway royalty) chewing scenery with guests like Geraldine Page and Victor Buono. Poster captures the essence: color pops, mystery drips, legacy looms. Own it to flex foresight; when revivals hit, you'll smirk 'Told ya.' Wall game strong, geek cred eternal. Snag now; mysteries wait for no one.

📼 Stop Scrolling 🤚 Own the The Snoop Sisters (1973) Collector’s Print: Geeky Specs & Shipping

Heavyweight 240 g/m² premium poster paper isn't messing around; it's museum high quality that laughs at lightweight losers. Vibrant colors explode like Ernesta's plot bombs, deep blacks sink deeper than Gwendolyn's cryptic poems. You're not just buying a poster; you're acquiring a piece of The Snoop Sisters (1973) history, that rare wheel series where granny detectives owned NBC.

Shipping? Locked tight. A4 and A3 formats arrive perfectly flat in reinforced protective packaging (no curls, no rolls, no drama). Larger A2 and A1? Carefully rolled in heavy-duty tubes for maximum protection during transit. All formats ready to be framed instantly, no futzing. Picture it: unbox, gasp, hang, bask in glory. From Gramercy Park mysteries to your wall, pristine delivery guaranteed.

This beast flexes pro edges, gloss that gleams under any light, durability for eternal stakeouts. Colors stay punchy, no fade like those ex-cop excuses from Barney. Specs scream collector: thick stock mirrors the show's hefty guest stars (Victor Buono, Cyril Ritchard). Shipping worldwide? Bulletproof packaging shrugs off transit gremlins. A4 for desks, A1 for domination. Instant frame-ready means you're sleuthing in style same day. Own the print that outlasts trends; it's Snoop Sisters tough.

🎞️ Framing the Genius: The Snoop Sisters (1973)’s Visual Legacy

Cinematography in The Snoop Sisters (1973)? 70s TV sorcery blending cozy glow with gritty New York shadows. Directors like Leonard Horn lit Gramercy Park townhouses in warm amber hues, making Ernesta and Gwendolyn's world feel like a hug from a suspicious aunt. Visual language screams 'senior power': close-ups on Hayes' piercing gaze and Natwick's sly smirks, cutting to wide shots of their Lincoln prowling fogged streets.

Color theory? Masterclass. Rich golds and burgundies for interior sleuth sessions pop against episode exteriors' moody blues and greens, nodding to mystery tropes while subverting with geriatric glamour. Art direction nails it: cluttered writer dens stuffed with typewriters, relics, and potion vials (hello, coven episode), every prop screaming eccentricity like Sam Jaffe's inventor lair.

Iconic imagery? That pilot stare-down, sisters huddled over clues, Barney looming like comic relief. Guest-star showcases (Geraldine Page's hoot-worthy heir, Cyril Ritchard's devilish flair) framed in dramatic low angles, elevating camp to art. No frills 90-minute wheel format keeps visuals tight, punchy, timeless. Poster distills this: vibrant palette, dynamic poses capturing the legacy of pre-Murder, She Wrote queens. Hang it; own the visual vibe that influenced cozy crime forever.

👀 Did You Know ? 🤯 Fun facts about The Snoop Sisters (1973)
  • Pilot shake-up: Original Barney (Art Carney) swapped for Lou Antonio post-The Female Instinct airing December 1972. Lt. Ostrowski? Lawrence Pressman out, Bert Convy in. NBC tweaking for gold.

  • Only five episodes in NBC's Tuesday Mystery Movie wheel with Banacek, Tenafly. Short run (Dec 1973-Mar 1974) makes it ultra-rare; three on YouTube fueling current buzz.
  • Ernesta (Hayes, First Lady of American Theatre) and G (Natwick, Barefoot in the Park vet from John Ford's 1940 Long Voyage Home) both 70s icons solving crimes while G takes Ernesta's mystery dictation. Poet widow vs. spinster author: dynamic gold.
  • Episodes wild: Corpse and Robbers with toy factories, Sam Jaffe inventor, Neva Patterson suspect, Victor Buono doc, Geraldine Page heir. The Devil Made Me Do It!? Plane relic slip leads to NYC coven murders and drugs. Cyril Ritchard slays.
  • Gramercy Park townhouse HQ, 1920s Lincoln rides. Nephew cop reluctant helper. Cozy setup predates Fletcher by a decade; LitHub calls it the blueprint.

Shipping & Returns

Shipping times, tracking, returns… everything you need to know before confirming your order like Neo choosing the red pill.

📦 Where do you ship ?

We don’t ship to Hawkins, Tatooine, or Westeros, but good news: we ship worldwide, including all across Europe, the UK, the United States, Canada, Japan, Australia, and many other destinations.

🎬 Quick movie reference: In Cast Away, Tom Hanks survives on a deserted island thanks to a lost FedEx package.

Iconic scene… but definitely not the delivery experience we want for your The Snoop Sisters (1973) poster 😅

👉 That’s exactly why we work with our trusted partner UPS® to make sure your package doesn’t end up lost in the middle of nowhere with only a volleyball for company.

📦 With UPS®, we offer:

  • Standard or Express delivery
  • Home delivery or UPS® Access Point (relay pickup)

💰 Shipping rates:

  • €4.95 standard shipping
  • Free shipping on orders over €50 with UPS® Access Point delivery

📍 The UPS® pickup point selection is made after payment.

⚠️ Please make sure to enter a valid email address and phone number, they’re essential for real-time tracking updates and delivery notifications.

Bottom line: at Popcorn Poster, your package arrives safely at your door, not on a deserted beach with “HELP” written in the sand.

⏱️ How long does delivery take ?

Great question and don’t worry, the answer won’t last as long as Titanic.

📦 All orders leave our warehouses within 24 hours after being placed. No waiting around like Tom Hanks in The Terminal.

🚚 Two delivery options with our partner UPS®:

  • Express delivery: 24–48 hours, depending on the destination country ( Faster than The Flash, no super suit required )
  • Standard delivery: around 1-6 business days ( Perfect if you’re not in a rush like Frodo heading to Mordor )

📍 All shipments are fully tracked in real time.
⚠️ Make sure to enter a valid email address and phone number at checkout — they’re essential to receive UPS® tracking updates at every step of the journey.

🌧️ Real-world disclaimer : Occasional delays can happen due to weather conditions, high shipping volumes or unexpected events. No need to panic, we usually start investigating after 7 business days (excluding weekends).

🚀 Why UPS®?
Because it’s simply the fastest international carrier, with one of the best delivery services in the world. We’d rather invest in reliability than turn your delivery into a Mission: Impossible scenario.

💸 We cover a large part of the shipping costs, because our goal is simple: to offer you the best delivery service possible, wherever you are in the world, no compromises.

Bottom line: your poster arrives fast, fully tracked, and without any Indiana Jones level adventures.

📍 Can I track my order ?

Yes. And not just “kind of” 😌 As soon as your order leaves our warehouse, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with a UPS® tracking link.

📦 With UPS®, you can track your poster in real time, step by step, almost like Nick Fury monitoring his agents.

📲 For tracking to work perfectly, it’s very important to double-check all your details before placing your order:

  • Complete and correct delivery address (This happens every day: missing house number, wrong country selected, incomplete street name…)
  • Valid and accessible email address
  • Correct phone number

🎬 Let’s be honest:
All we want is for your package with your awesome new poster to arrive as fast as possible, and in perfect condition.

A quick check now saves you from needing a Back to the Future-style time travel to fix a wrong address.

📧 One more important thing about email:
Please don’t use a throwaway or inaccessible email address. We won’t spam you (we’re not Skynet), but:

  • UPS® pickup codes are sent by email
  • Delivery notifications too

Without access to your inbox, there’s unfortunately nothing we can do, and your package may vanish forever, like a lost VHS tape from the 90s.

🎥 In short:
You know where your package is, when it arrives, and how to collect it, no need to play Sherlock Holmes or watch the street like Walter White behind the curtains.

🔄 What if I want to return my poster ?

We get it, even Citizen Kane didn’t please everyone.

🎨 Custom posters

Custom posters are non-returnable and non-refundable. They’re printed specifically for you, like a James Bond–tailored suit: once it’s made, it’s yours.

📦 Non-custom posters

For non-custom posters, please refer to our detailed return policy at the bottom of the page, under “Delivery Issues”. This section clearly explains return, refund, and resolution conditions.

🚚 Delivery issues (delay, lost or damaged package) If:

  • Your order hasn’t arrived within the estimated timeframe
  • Your package is lost
  • Your poster arrives damaged

👉 contact us at hello@popcornposter.com. We’ll immediately work with the carrier (UPS®) to resolve the issue.

📅 Please note:
The carrier has a formal process and timeline to declare a package as lost, 15 days after the estimated delivery date. Before that, the package is officially still “in transit”.

⏳ Delivery delays & right to a refund

The right to a refund for delivery delays only applies if the delay is not caused by force majeure or circumstances beyond the seller’s control (weather conditions, strikes, exceptional events, etc.).

According to European Directive 2011/83/EU:

  • If no fixed delivery time is specified (only an estimate),
  • The seller must deliver the order within a reasonable timeframe, typically up to 30 days from the order confirmation

If this timeframe is exceeded, the seller is granted an additional one-week period to complete the delivery.

🎬 In short:
We never leave customers without support, but we also believe in solving things calmly, without a failed-season-finale level of drama.

Orders & Payments

Orders, payments & behind-the-scenes details (The part people skip… but shouldn’t)

💳 What payment methods do you accept ?

We keep it simple and secure 🔒

We accept:

  • Credit & debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
  • PayPal
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay

All payments are 100% secure. Even Bruce Wayne would approve this checkout.

✏️ Can I change or cancel my order ?

Yes… and we’ve even built in a little flexibility 😌

👉 After payment, you have a 30-minute window to contact us if you’d like to:

  • Change the poster size
  • Switch the frame color
  • Upgrade from unframed to framed

Because sometimes you realize after checkout that the black frame would look way better and that’s totally fine.

⏱️ After this 30-minute window, your order enters production. At that point, changes are no longer possible, kind of like trying to rewrite a movie after the end credits.

🖼️ Good to know about delivery:

  • Framed posters arrive fully framed, ready to hang
  • Unframed posters are carefully protected in a plastic protective film
  • A4 and A3 unframed posters are shipped flat, not rolled, to prevent any deformation and ensure a perfect finish right out of the package

Our goal is simple:

to make sure your poster arrives fast, well-protected, and exactly how you imagined it, no bad surprises.

🧾 Will I receive an order confirmation and invoice ?

Absolutely 😌

After placing your order, you’ll receive:

  • An order confirmation email
  • An invoice with all details

If you don’t see it, check your spam folder (sometimes emails disappear like mail at Hogwarts).

Need a custom invoice? Just contact us.

💥 My order arrived damaged, what should I do ?

First: breathe 😌
Yes, it can happen. Even with the best carrier in the world, a delivery driver can have a bad day, be in a rush, or your package can go through a real adventure during transit.

👉 The good news:
Since working with UPS®, damaged packages are very rare.
Trust us… you don’t want to know how many emails we used to get with our previous carriers 😅

That problem is now solved thanks to:

  • Stronger protection
  • Better packaging
  • Much more reliable delivery

But let’s be real :
Packages travel for several days. They can fall, be stacked, sometimes crushed… Honestly, we should put a GoPro inside a package to see what it goes through 🎥📦

🚚 When we hand packages over to UPS®, everything is perfect :

Paolo, our UPS® driver, comes by every day with a smile, packages leave well protected and damage-free. After that… they go on their journey.

👉 If you’re part of the 1% of cases where a package arrives damaged :

It’s not a big deal. it’s annoying (we agree), and trust me:

👉 if I ordered something and received it damaged, I’d be annoyed too.

Here’s what to do calmly 👇

  1. Take a photo of the package
  2. Take a photo of the poster
  3. Email us at hello@popcornposter.com

(with your order number, ex. #1001)

📩 Important - Customer support :
Our customer service is handled exclusively by email.

🙅‍♂️ Not via Instagram

🙅‍♂️ Not via TikTok

🙅‍♂️ And unfortunately… not by owls either ⚡🦉

Why ? Because email allows us to :

  • Properly track your case
  • Keep all information in one place
  • Respond quickly and efficiently

📬 Marion checks emails every single day and replies to everyone.

If we have all the required info, within 24 hours, we’ll find a solution together, fast, and one that works for you.

🙏 Friendly advice :

  • Please avoid ALL CAPS emails
  • Avoid aggressive or entitled tones

Otherwise Marion gets angry… and I have to deal with her being angry all day 😡😅

Nobody wins.

If Marion solved your issue (and trust us, she really solves them all), please consider leaving a Trustpilot review mentioning her name: Marion isn’t ChatGPT, she reads every review, and she’ll absolutely love seeing her name mentioned with positive feedback 👀😇

🎬 Bottom line :

We ship dozens of packages every day, we do everything we can to make sure everything arrives perfectly, and when something goes wrong, we own it and fix it.

Simple, human, efficient. 🫶

❓ I haven’t received my order, what should I do?

First things first, something very important 👇 (No panic, this isn’t an episode of Lost.)

👉 Make sure you entered complete and accurate contact details when placing your order:

  • Correct delivery address
  • Valid email address
  • Phone number

Without this information, even the best carrier in the world can’t work miracles.

📦 All orders are tracked via UPS®, and the tracking is (truly) extremely precise.

🎬 A quick look at your package’s journey:

  • As soon as we create your shipping label and attach it to the package → Bam, email
  • Every day around 12 PM, Paolo, our awesome UPS® driver, comes by to collect the parcels
  • Before your package even enters his super truck, Paolo scans each parcel one by oneBam, email
  • When he drops your package at the UPS® logistics hub for proper routing → Quick scan, Bam email

👉 Result: you receive an email at every single movement of your package. Your poster is tracked more closely than a main character in a TV series.

🖨️ Important note for custom posters:

Custom posters may require up to 24 additional hours of processing, depending on demand. Why ?

Because this one isn’t in stock, we create it ourselves, specifically for you. Nothing to worry about, it may just take a little longer, and that’s completely normal.

Now, real-world shipping reality :

Delays can happen (weather conditions, logistics issues, unexpected events). It’s not common, but it happens.

👉 We only really start worrying after 7 business days (excluding weekends).

If that timeframe is exceeded, contact us and we’ll immediately open an investigation with UPS®.

🎬 Bottom line:
We never leave a customer without a solution, but we also avoid jumping to conclusions like a Netflix thriller after 10 minutes.

If you’re really worried about where your order might be hiding, send us an email at hello@popcornposter.com and Marion will take care of the investigation with Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Machine 🕵️‍♂️🚐🍿

About Our Products

This is where we answer all the questions your brain asks while staring at a poster thinking : “Okay… but is it really that cool in real life?” Spoiler: it is.

🍿 What kind of posters do you sell ?

At Popcorn Poster, we don’t do “a bit of home decor.” We do cinema. A lot of cinema. Probably too much cinema. 🎬🍿

More specifically, our catalog includes thousands of movie and TV series posters, in multiple languages, sourced from cinemas all around the world.

Yes ! we’re talking about one of the largest movie poster catalogs in the world. And no, we’re not just saying that for fun (okay… maybe a little).

You’ll find posters from:

  • 🎥 cult movies you can quote by heart
  • 🏛️ timeless classics you deeply respect
  • 🚀 recent films that blew your mind
  • 📺 iconic TV series you binge-watched “just one episode”… until sunrise

And most importantly : 👉 in multiple languages, because cinema has never spoken just one.

🎞️ Where do our posters come from?

Our posters can be:

  • Original cinema posters, used in theaters around the world
  • Or high-quality reprints, when the original isn’t available in the size you choose

Either way, we’re obsessive about quality, so the final result looks amazing on your wall, not just accurate on paper.

🎬 What if I can’t find the movie or series of my dreams?

That’s exactly why we created CHOOSE YOUR MOVIE 🕶️ If you can’t find what you’re looking for :

  1. Simply type the movie or TV show name
  2. Choose the size
  3. And we take care of the rest

👉 No endless searching

👉 No comparing random websites

👉 No DIY headaches

You choose.

We print.

You receive your poster.

🎥 In short:

Popcorn Poster means:

  • A massive catalog
  • Worldwide cinema
  • Thousands of references
  • And the certainty that even if you don’t see it right away…

    👉 your movie exists here.
🖨️ Is the print quality actually that good ?

Let’s be honest right from the start :

👉 these are probably the worst posters of all time. Blurry, poorly printed, dull colors… Basically, the kind of quality you’d expect from a movie filmed on a phone in the back row of a cinema in 2004.

Okay, obviously not 😄 If that were true, we’d be selling bootleg DVDs in a parking lot.

🎬 Let’s get serious (but not too serious)

Our posters are designed to last, not just look good in an Instagram story.

🖨️ For reprinted posters (when the original isn’t available in your chosen size) :

  • We use eco-friendly, long-lasting, high-quality inks
  • Resistant to time and light
  • To avoid the “yellowing poster after a few months” effect

📄 The paper:

  • 240g museum-grade paper
  • Thick, premium feel
  • Elegant matte finish

Definitely not thin paper that wrinkles if you breathe near it.

🖼️ The frames:

  • Made of aluminum
  • Lightweight once on the wall
  • Won’t warp
  • Won’t lose color over time
  • Impressive lifespan

The kind of frame you hang, forget about, and still looks perfect years later.

🎞️ One important (and honest) thing to know

As you might expect :

👉 The older the movie, the more the print quality depends on the original source.

A movie poster from the 1970s:

  • Won’t always look ultra-sharp 4K
  • And that’s completely normal

It’s like watching The Godfather: Not Dolby Vision 2025, but that’s exactly part of its charm.

🎬 Bottom line:

Our posters are:

  • Carefully printed
  • Made with premium materials
  • Designed to last
  • And respectful of cinema history

Not a tired VHS, not fake overhyped 4K, but an honest, cinematic result, as it should be.

🖼️ Are the frames high quality ?

Let’s start with the truth: 👉 of course not.
We love wasting time, money, and energy selling terrible frames.

Okay, obviously no 😄 If that were the case, we’d do what everyone else does: cheap, fragile frames and “good luck assembling it yourself.”

🎬 A true story

At first, we used wooden frames. On paper, they looked nice. In real life? Not so much.

👉 Once on the wall, they warped over time.

👉 And during shipping… they could literally break apart.

So we made a simple decision:

🛑 stop using wood

✅ switch to aluminum

🖼️ Why aluminum?

Because:

  • It’s lightweight (no Final Destination moment for your wall)
  • It doesn’t warp
  • It doesn’t yellow
  • It keeps its color for years
  • And has an impressive lifespan

🎬 In short:

frames built to last longer than most movie trilogies.

🛠️ And most importantly… no IKEA-style assembly

When you order a framed poster from Popcorn Poster,

👉 it arrives already framed, ready to hang.

Not like:

  • Some poster sellers
  • Or an IKEA piece you assemble on a Sunday night with one screw left over

We do the work for you.

🎨 What we actually do (and yes, it takes time)

  • We select the frame (black, chrome, white…)
  • Carefully place the poster inside
  • Make sure no dust or hair sneaks in
  • Wrap everything in our protective sleeves
  • Place it in strong packaging
  • And off it goes 🚚🍿

✨ The finish

Our frames have:

  • A slightly matte finish
  • With just a touch of shine

Once on the wall or on a shelf, it makes a real difference in a home. Because a poster isn’t just decoration.

It’s:

  • An atmosphere
  • A soul
  • Your personality on display

You’re not going to pick a generic, ugly frame everyone else has.

👉 Your home represents who you are.

And every day, when you walk past your poster, you’ll feel that little moment of satisfaction. You’ll see 😌
