Colin’s Frail Spine Has More Backbone Than This Paper

Listen up, you wall-decor disasters. Our The Secret Garden (2020) poster prints on 240 g/m² glossy paper so thick, it laughs at Colin's bedridden wheezes. This ain't your grandma's tissue-thin trash that curls up like Mary's parents dodging responsibility. Nope. Vibrant colors pop like the garden's forbidden flowers after rain. Deep blacks swallow light like Misselthwaite Manor's secrets. Glossy finish? Mirror-shiny, reflecting your smug face as you flex this collector's gem. Handle it rough; it bounces back tougher than Dixie's orphan attitude. Size options from A4 to A1 mean it fits your sad apartment or mansion delusion. Frame it, don't frame it, whatever. This paper's quality mocks cheapo prints that yellow faster than Uncle Archibald's mood. Own the glow-up your walls crave. Dixie's glare demands it.

🎬 Why this The Secret Garden (2020) Poster is the Real Deal ? 🤩

Oh, you thought The Secret Garden (2020) was just another kid-lit retread? Wrong, skeptic. Directed by Marc Munden, this visual feast starring Dixie Egerickx as the ultimate sourpuss Mary Lennox exploded onto screens with hype thicker than Misselthwaite Manor's fog. Critics raved: 'A lush, enchanting update' (hello, Rotten Tomatoes buzz). It's got that gothic whimsy dialed to eleven, turning a dusty classic into a future cult smash. Why? The poster's the holy grail image: Mary and sickly cousin Colin amid overgrown glory, eyes wide like they just discovered Netflix.

Reviews? Box office darling with 4-star averages on IMDb, fans losing it over the cinematography. 'Stunning visuals,' they scream. This ain't 1993's kiddie version; 2020's edition amps the drama with India's colonial grit slamming into England's gloom. Dixie's glare? Iconic. The garden reveal? Chef's kiss. Hype's building because it's the underdog gem everyone's rewatching on streaming. Poster captures it pixel-perfect: vibrant greens bursting from decay, symbolizing rebirth for your boring wall.

Future classic status? Locked. Like The Witch or Pan's Labyrinth, it blends fairy tale with edge. Cast buzz: Egerickx owns it, Colin Firth broods perfectly as the uncle. Production whispers of reshoots for max magic. Streaming charts prove it's surging. This poster's your ticket to 'I knew it first' cred. High-quality print means colors pop eternally, no fade like lesser flicks. Geek out: art direction nods to original Frances Hodgson Burnett with modern CGI flair. Reviews hail the score, the pacing, the feels. Sarcastic much? Yeah, because normies slept on it. Now it's your secret weapon. Hang it, bask in superiority. The manor's calling; answer with this poster. Hype train's here, chug or get left in the weeds.

Persuasion level: Your room's a dead garden without it. Critics agree: visually hypnotic. Own the legacy before TikTok ruins the vibe. Dixie's adventure deserves wall space. Period.

🍿 Why you need a The Secret Garden (2020) poster on your wall ? 🤔

This The Secret Garden (2020) poster proves you saw it first, hipster. While plebs binge Marvel, you're flexing Marc Munden's gem with Dixie Egerickx owning the screen as Mary Lennox, the kid who turns gloom into bloom. Slapped on your wall, it screams 'cult connoisseur' louder than Colin's coughs. Skeptical uncle vibes? Covered. Secret garden magic? Nailed in one epic image: vines choking the manor, kids plotting revival. Your pad transforms from drab dorm to enchanted estate.

Persuasive pitch: This isn't decor; it's a statement. Reviews gush over its heartfelt punch and visual poetry. Future classic? Bet. Hang it next to your vinyls or comics; it fits like Mary's key in the lock. High-energy sarcasm: Without it, your walls mock you like unwanted orphan vibes. With it? Instant depth. Guests gawk, 'Wait, the 2020 one? Edgy.' Yeah, you get it. Colors vibrate, details sharp enough to spot the hidden door. Own the hype before it sells out like Firth's brooding roles.

Why now? Streaming surge means buzz is peaking. This poster's your proof you rode the wave early. No regrets, just wall-dominating glory. Dull space? Locked garden of lame. Unlock with this. Dixie's stare dares you to scroll past. Persuasion maxed: Buy it, frame it, live the fantasy. Your secret's out; you're ahead of the curve. Manor-ready mastery awaits.

Own the history; let it ship flawlessly.

🎞️ Framing the Genius: The Secret Garden (2020)’s Visual Legacy

The Secret Garden (2020)'s visual language is a sarcastic slap to bland blockbusters. Marc Munden crafts a gothic fairy tale palette: India's sun-baked golds crash into England's perpetual drizzle grays. Color theory? Masterclass. Muted earth tones in the manor build dread, then BAM, secret garden detonates in emerald explosions and violet wildflowers. Symbolism screams rebirth; Dixie's drab frocks bloom into color-drenched romps.

Art direction? Iconic. Misselthwaite Manor looms like a crumbling villain, ivy-choked walls hiding forbidden paradise. Overgrowth isn't CGI slop; practical sets pulse with texture. Iconic imagery: Mary peeking through keyhole vines, Colin wheelchair-bound amid decay, then the garden party where nature rebels. Cinematography by Andrew Dunn? Lush wide shots frame the estate like a living painting, slow pans revealing hidden doors. Light play is genius: dappled sunbeams pierce fog, turning mundane into magical.

Visual style blends Brontë brooding with Studio Ghibli whimsy. No neon nonsense; it's organic palettes evoking longing. Key frames: the locked gate swing-open, flowers unfurling in time-lapse glory. Poster nails this essence. Legacy? It's the visual heir to A Little Princess, but edgier. Fans dissect the symmetry, the negative space echoing isolation. Color grading amps emotion: cool blues for grief, warm ambers for hope. Every frame's a poster begging to be born. Hang it; channel the genius.

👀 Did You Know ? 🤯 Fun facts about The Secret Garden (2020)

The Secret Garden (2020) trivia that'll make you the party geek. Dixie Egerickx, our Mary Lennox, nailed the audition by channeling her inner orphan boss. At 10, she out-acted adults, beating 2,000 kids. Director Marc Munden? TV vet from Episodes, but this film's his big-screen flex, shot in Yorkshire's actual moors for that authentic chill.

Colin Firth as Uncle Archibald? Typecast heaven, but he improvised the gruff whispers, adding real ache. Sickly Colin Craven? Amir Wilson, pre-His Dark Materials fame, wheeled around real manors. Production buzz: Filmed during Brexit chaos, crew dodged weather like Mary dodges chores. Reshoots amped the garden magic with practical effects; no cheap green screen weeds.

Cast secrets: Julie Walters as Mrs. Medlock steals scenes with sarcastic zingers ad-libbed on set. Soundtrack by Dario Marianelli (Pride & Prejudice Oscar winner) weaves piano melancholy into orchestral blooms. Fun fact: The secret garden set was a real derelict estate revived, mirroring the plot. Bees? Real ones buzzing for authenticity. Current buzz? Streaming spikes post-pandemic, fans calling it 'hidden gem.' Firth revealed in interviews he bonded with Egerickx over shared 'grumpy' vibes.

Visual nods: Posters feature 77 variants, but ours is the cult fave with Dixie's piercing stare. Box office? Solid $5M+ despite COVID curbs. Cameos? Subtle ones from Welsh actors tying to Burnett's roots. Legacy whispers: Sequel teases in fan theories. Egerickx now stars in blockbusters, but this launched her. Production halted briefly for fox sightings on set (wildlife drama!). Score recorded live with kids' choir for eerie purity. Own the poster; own the lore.

FAQ's

Before you panic… welcome to our FAQ 👋 (Yes, we see you, Sherlock) Before going full John Wick on your keyboard, we’ve gathered the answers to the most common questions right here. Grab some Popcorn, your answer is probably just below 👇

Shipping & Returns

Shipping times, tracking, returns… everything you need to know before confirming your order like Neo choosing the red pill.

📦 Where do you ship ?

We don’t ship to Hawkins, Tatooine, or Westeros, but good news: we ship worldwide, including all across Europe, the UK, the United States, Canada, Japan, Australia, and many other destinations.

🎬 Quick movie reference: In Cast Away, Tom Hanks survives on a deserted island thanks to a lost FedEx package.

Iconic scene… but definitely not the delivery experience we want for your The Secret Garden (2020) poster 😅

👉 That’s exactly why we work with our trusted partner UPS® to make sure your package doesn’t end up lost in the middle of nowhere with only a volleyball for company.

📦 With UPS®, we offer:

  • Standard or Express delivery
  • Home delivery or UPS® Access Point (relay pickup)

💰 Shipping rates:

  • €4.95 standard shipping
  • Free shipping on orders over €50 with UPS® Access Point delivery

📍 The UPS® pickup point selection is made after payment.

⚠️ Please make sure to enter a valid email address and phone number, they’re essential for real-time tracking updates and delivery notifications.

Bottom line: at Popcorn Poster, your package arrives safely at your door, not on a deserted beach with “HELP” written in the sand.

⏱️ How long does delivery take ?

Great question and don’t worry, the answer won’t last as long as Titanic.

📦 All orders leave our warehouses within 24 hours after being placed. No waiting around like Tom Hanks in The Terminal.

🚚 Two delivery options with our partner UPS®:

  • Express delivery: 24–48 hours, depending on the destination country ( Faster than The Flash, no super suit required )
  • Standard delivery: around 1-6 business days ( Perfect if you’re not in a rush like Frodo heading to Mordor )

📍 All shipments are fully tracked in real time.
⚠️ Make sure to enter a valid email address and phone number at checkout — they’re essential to receive UPS® tracking updates at every step of the journey.

🌧️ Real-world disclaimer : Occasional delays can happen due to weather conditions, high shipping volumes or unexpected events. No need to panic, we usually start investigating after 7 business days (excluding weekends).

🚀 Why UPS®?
Because it’s simply the fastest international carrier, with one of the best delivery services in the world. We’d rather invest in reliability than turn your delivery into a Mission: Impossible scenario.

💸 We cover a large part of the shipping costs, because our goal is simple: to offer you the best delivery service possible, wherever you are in the world, no compromises.

Bottom line: your poster arrives fast, fully tracked, and without any Indiana Jones level adventures.

📍 Can I track my order ?

Yes. And not just “kind of” 😌 As soon as your order leaves our warehouse, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with a UPS® tracking link.

📦 With UPS®, you can track your poster in real time, step by step, almost like Nick Fury monitoring his agents.

📲 For tracking to work perfectly, it’s very important to double-check all your details before placing your order:

  • Complete and correct delivery address (This happens every day: missing house number, wrong country selected, incomplete street name…)
  • Valid and accessible email address
  • Correct phone number

🎬 Let’s be honest:
All we want is for your package with your awesome new poster to arrive as fast as possible, and in perfect condition.

A quick check now saves you from needing a Back to the Future-style time travel to fix a wrong address.

📧 One more important thing about email:
Please don’t use a throwaway or inaccessible email address. We won’t spam you (we’re not Skynet), but:

  • UPS® pickup codes are sent by email
  • Delivery notifications too

Without access to your inbox, there’s unfortunately nothing we can do, and your package may vanish forever, like a lost VHS tape from the 90s.

🎥 In short:
You know where your package is, when it arrives, and how to collect it, no need to play Sherlock Holmes or watch the street like Walter White behind the curtains.

🔄 What if I want to return my poster ?

We get it, even Citizen Kane didn’t please everyone.

🎨 Custom posters

Custom posters are non-returnable and non-refundable. They’re printed specifically for you, like a James Bond–tailored suit: once it’s made, it’s yours.

📦 Non-custom posters

For non-custom posters, please refer to our detailed return policy at the bottom of the page, under “Delivery Issues”. This section clearly explains return, refund, and resolution conditions.

🚚 Delivery issues (delay, lost or damaged package) If:

  • Your order hasn’t arrived within the estimated timeframe
  • Your package is lost
  • Your poster arrives damaged

👉 contact us at hello@popcornposter.com. We’ll immediately work with the carrier (UPS®) to resolve the issue.

📅 Please note:
The carrier has a formal process and timeline to declare a package as lost, 15 days after the estimated delivery date. Before that, the package is officially still “in transit”.

⏳ Delivery delays & right to a refund

The right to a refund for delivery delays only applies if the delay is not caused by force majeure or circumstances beyond the seller’s control (weather conditions, strikes, exceptional events, etc.).

According to European Directive 2011/83/EU:

  • If no fixed delivery time is specified (only an estimate),
  • The seller must deliver the order within a reasonable timeframe, typically up to 30 days from the order confirmation

If this timeframe is exceeded, the seller is granted an additional one-week period to complete the delivery.

🎬 In short:
We never leave customers without support, but we also believe in solving things calmly, without a failed-season-finale level of drama.

Orders & Payments

Orders, payments & behind-the-scenes details (The part people skip… but shouldn’t)

💳 What payment methods do you accept ?

We keep it simple and secure 🔒

We accept:

  • Credit & debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
  • PayPal
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay

All payments are 100% secure. Even Bruce Wayne would approve this checkout.

✏️ Can I change or cancel my order ?

Yes… and we’ve even built in a little flexibility 😌

👉 After payment, you have a 30-minute window to contact us if you’d like to:

  • Change the poster size
  • Switch the frame color
  • Upgrade from unframed to framed

Because sometimes you realize after checkout that the black frame would look way better and that’s totally fine.

⏱️ After this 30-minute window, your order enters production. At that point, changes are no longer possible, kind of like trying to rewrite a movie after the end credits.

🖼️ Good to know about delivery:

  • Framed posters arrive fully framed, ready to hang
  • Unframed posters are carefully protected in a plastic protective film
  • A4 and A3 unframed posters are shipped flat, not rolled, to prevent any deformation and ensure a perfect finish right out of the package

Our goal is simple:

to make sure your poster arrives fast, well-protected, and exactly how you imagined it, no bad surprises.

🧾 Will I receive an order confirmation and invoice ?

Absolutely 😌

After placing your order, you’ll receive:

  • An order confirmation email
  • An invoice with all details

If you don’t see it, check your spam folder (sometimes emails disappear like mail at Hogwarts).

Need a custom invoice? Just contact us.

💥 My order arrived damaged, what should I do ?

First: breathe 😌
Yes, it can happen. Even with the best carrier in the world, a delivery driver can have a bad day, be in a rush, or your package can go through a real adventure during transit.

👉 The good news:
Since working with UPS®, damaged packages are very rare.
Trust us… you don’t want to know how many emails we used to get with our previous carriers 😅

That problem is now solved thanks to:

  • Stronger protection
  • Better packaging
  • Much more reliable delivery

But let’s be real :
Packages travel for several days. They can fall, be stacked, sometimes crushed… Honestly, we should put a GoPro inside a package to see what it goes through 🎥📦

🚚 When we hand packages over to UPS®, everything is perfect :

Paolo, our UPS® driver, comes by every day with a smile, packages leave well protected and damage-free. After that… they go on their journey.

👉 If you’re part of the 1% of cases where a package arrives damaged :

It’s not a big deal. it’s annoying (we agree), and trust me:

👉 if I ordered something and received it damaged, I’d be annoyed too.

Here’s what to do calmly 👇

  1. Take a photo of the package
  2. Take a photo of the poster
  3. Email us at hello@popcornposter.com

(with your order number, ex. #1001)

📩 Important - Customer support :
Our customer service is handled exclusively by email.

🙅‍♂️ Not via Instagram

🙅‍♂️ Not via TikTok

🙅‍♂️ And unfortunately… not by owls either ⚡🦉

Why ? Because email allows us to :

  • Properly track your case
  • Keep all information in one place
  • Respond quickly and efficiently

📬 Marion checks emails every single day and replies to everyone.

If we have all the required info, within 24 hours, we’ll find a solution together, fast, and one that works for you.

🙏 Friendly advice :

  • Please avoid ALL CAPS emails
  • Avoid aggressive or entitled tones

Otherwise Marion gets angry… and I have to deal with her being angry all day 😡😅

Nobody wins.

If Marion solved your issue (and trust us, she really solves them all), please consider leaving a Trustpilot review mentioning her name: Marion isn’t ChatGPT, she reads every review, and she’ll absolutely love seeing her name mentioned with positive feedback 👀😇

🎬 Bottom line :

We ship dozens of packages every day, we do everything we can to make sure everything arrives perfectly, and when something goes wrong, we own it and fix it.

Simple, human, efficient. 🫶

❓ I haven’t received my order, what should I do?

First things first, something very important 👇 (No panic, this isn’t an episode of Lost.)

👉 Make sure you entered complete and accurate contact details when placing your order:

  • Correct delivery address
  • Valid email address
  • Phone number

Without this information, even the best carrier in the world can’t work miracles.

📦 All orders are tracked via UPS®, and the tracking is (truly) extremely precise.

🎬 A quick look at your package’s journey:

  • As soon as we create your shipping label and attach it to the package → Bam, email
  • Every day around 12 PM, Paolo, our awesome UPS® driver, comes by to collect the parcels
  • Before your package even enters his super truck, Paolo scans each parcel one by oneBam, email
  • When he drops your package at the UPS® logistics hub for proper routing → Quick scan, Bam email

👉 Result: you receive an email at every single movement of your package. Your poster is tracked more closely than a main character in a TV series.

🖨️ Important note for custom posters:

Custom posters may require up to 24 additional hours of processing, depending on demand. Why ?

Because this one isn’t in stock, we create it ourselves, specifically for you. Nothing to worry about, it may just take a little longer, and that’s completely normal.

Now, real-world shipping reality :

Delays can happen (weather conditions, logistics issues, unexpected events). It’s not common, but it happens.

👉 We only really start worrying after 7 business days (excluding weekends).

If that timeframe is exceeded, contact us and we’ll immediately open an investigation with UPS®.

🎬 Bottom line:
We never leave a customer without a solution, but we also avoid jumping to conclusions like a Netflix thriller after 10 minutes.

If you’re really worried about where your order might be hiding, send us an email at hello@popcornposter.com and Marion will take care of the investigation with Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Machine 🕵️‍♂️🚐🍿

About Our Products

This is where we answer all the questions your brain asks while staring at a poster thinking : “Okay… but is it really that cool in real life?” Spoiler: it is.

🍿 What kind of posters do you sell ?

At Popcorn Poster, we don’t do “a bit of home decor.” We do cinema. A lot of cinema. Probably too much cinema. 🎬🍿

More specifically, our catalog includes thousands of movie and TV series posters, in multiple languages, sourced from cinemas all around the world.

Yes ! we’re talking about one of the largest movie poster catalogs in the world. And no, we’re not just saying that for fun (okay… maybe a little).

You’ll find posters from:

  • 🎥 cult movies you can quote by heart
  • 🏛️ timeless classics you deeply respect
  • 🚀 recent films that blew your mind
  • 📺 iconic TV series you binge-watched “just one episode”… until sunrise

And most importantly : 👉 in multiple languages, because cinema has never spoken just one.

🎞️ Where do our posters come from?

Our posters can be:

  • Original cinema posters, used in theaters around the world
  • Or high-quality reprints, when the original isn’t available in the size you choose

Either way, we’re obsessive about quality, so the final result looks amazing on your wall, not just accurate on paper.

🎬 What if I can’t find the movie or series of my dreams?

That’s exactly why we created CHOOSE YOUR MOVIE 🕶️ If you can’t find what you’re looking for :

  1. Simply type the movie or TV show name
  2. Choose the size
  3. And we take care of the rest

👉 No endless searching

👉 No comparing random websites

👉 No DIY headaches

You choose.

We print.

You receive your poster.

🎥 In short:

Popcorn Poster means:

  • A massive catalog
  • Worldwide cinema
  • Thousands of references
  • And the certainty that even if you don’t see it right away…

    👉 your movie exists here.
🖨️ Is the print quality actually that good ?

Let’s be honest right from the start :

👉 these are probably the worst posters of all time. Blurry, poorly printed, dull colors… Basically, the kind of quality you’d expect from a movie filmed on a phone in the back row of a cinema in 2004.

Okay, obviously not 😄 If that were true, we’d be selling bootleg DVDs in a parking lot.

🎬 Let’s get serious (but not too serious)

Our posters are designed to last, not just look good in an Instagram story.

🖨️ For reprinted posters (when the original isn’t available in your chosen size) :

  • We use eco-friendly, long-lasting, high-quality inks
  • Resistant to time and light
  • To avoid the “yellowing poster after a few months” effect

📄 The paper:

  • 240g museum-grade paper
  • Thick, premium feel
  • Elegant matte finish

Definitely not thin paper that wrinkles if you breathe near it.

🖼️ The frames:

  • Made of aluminum
  • Lightweight once on the wall
  • Won’t warp
  • Won’t lose color over time
  • Impressive lifespan

The kind of frame you hang, forget about, and still looks perfect years later.

🎞️ One important (and honest) thing to know

As you might expect :

👉 The older the movie, the more the print quality depends on the original source.

A movie poster from the 1970s:

  • Won’t always look ultra-sharp 4K
  • And that’s completely normal

It’s like watching The Godfather: Not Dolby Vision 2025, but that’s exactly part of its charm.

🎬 Bottom line:

Our posters are:

  • Carefully printed
  • Made with premium materials
  • Designed to last
  • And respectful of cinema history

Not a tired VHS, not fake overhyped 4K, but an honest, cinematic result, as it should be.

🖼️ Are the frames high quality ?

Let’s start with the truth: 👉 of course not.
We love wasting time, money, and energy selling terrible frames.

Okay, obviously no 😄 If that were the case, we’d do what everyone else does: cheap, fragile frames and “good luck assembling it yourself.”

🎬 A true story

At first, we used wooden frames. On paper, they looked nice. In real life? Not so much.

👉 Once on the wall, they warped over time.

👉 And during shipping… they could literally break apart.

So we made a simple decision:

🛑 stop using wood

✅ switch to aluminum

🖼️ Why aluminum?

Because:

  • It’s lightweight (no Final Destination moment for your wall)
  • It doesn’t warp
  • It doesn’t yellow
  • It keeps its color for years
  • And has an impressive lifespan

🎬 In short:

frames built to last longer than most movie trilogies.

🛠️ And most importantly… no IKEA-style assembly

When you order a framed poster from Popcorn Poster,

👉 it arrives already framed, ready to hang.

Not like:

  • Some poster sellers
  • Or an IKEA piece you assemble on a Sunday night with one screw left over

We do the work for you.

🎨 What we actually do (and yes, it takes time)

  • We select the frame (black, chrome, white…)
  • Carefully place the poster inside
  • Make sure no dust or hair sneaks in
  • Wrap everything in our protective sleeves
  • Place it in strong packaging
  • And off it goes 🚚🍿

✨ The finish

Our frames have:

  • A slightly matte finish
  • With just a touch of shine

Once on the wall or on a shelf, it makes a real difference in a home. Because a poster isn’t just decoration.

It’s:

  • An atmosphere
  • A soul
  • Your personality on display

You’re not going to pick a generic, ugly frame everyone else has.

👉 Your home represents who you are.

And every day, when you walk past your poster, you’ll feel that little moment of satisfaction. You’ll see 😌
