Wood Frames? More Like Wood You Please Just Get Aluminum

Listen, we love nature. Trees are great. But wooden frames are basically just splinter traps that warp when you breathe near them. Aluminum frames? Clean, modern, doesn't judge your life choices, won't develop that weird warped look by next Tuesday. Pair this poster with aluminum and you've got something that looks intentional, not 'I grabbed this at a closing mall kiosk in 2019.' Sleek. Durable. Respectful of what Max and Ruby actually deserve.

Glossier Than Ruby's Organizational System

We're talking 240 g/m² premium glossy paper here, the kind of heavyweight stock that makes your poster feel like an actual investment rather than something you impulse-bought at 2 AM. This isn't flimsy bedroom poster territory. The glossy finish makes those bunnies pop with the vibrancy they deserve, rich blacks and colors so crisp they'll make you question why you spent money on anything else last year. Museum-quality printing means this thing isn't fading into beige oblivion in six months. Your wall just got a promotion.

🎬 Why this Max & Ruby (2002) Poster is the Real Deal 🤩

Max & Ruby wasn't just a show; it was a phenomenon that defined early 2000s children's television. Debuting on Treehouse TV in Canada on May 3, 2002, and hitting Nickelodeon's Nick Jr. block in the United States on October 21, 2002, this Canadian animated series created by Rosemary Wells became an unexpected cultural touchstone. The show ran for five seasons with 78 episodes of pure sibling dynamics, eventually expanding to 130 half-hour episodes before the final episode aired on April 9, 2020.

What made Max & Ruby genuinely special wasn't just the premise of two rabbit siblings navigating childhood. It was the execution. Max, the mischievous three-year-old with an attitude problem and minimal vocabulary in early seasons, represented every younger sibling's chaotic energy. Ruby, the seven-year-old patient organizer, embodied the exhausted older sibling trying desperately to maintain order while her brother created absolute mayhem. This dynamic resonated because it was authentic.

The show's longevity speaks volumes. This wasn't a one-season wonder. The fact that it sustained itself for two decades before concluding naturally is the mark of genuine quality. Fans developed deep attachments to these characters, to their backyard adventures, their problem-solving attempts, and yes, their occasionally infuriating sibling conflicts that always resolved with surprising emotional maturity.

This poster captures that legacy perfectly. It's not nostalgia bait for people who grew up watching it (though it absolutely is that). It's a statement piece that says you understand television history, that you appreciate when a show respected its audience enough to be genuinely entertaining for both kids and the parents forced to watch it repeatedly. The visual design of Max & Ruby, with its clean animation style and iconic character design, translates beautifully to poster form.

Owning this poster means joining a community of people who get it. Who understand that Max & Ruby wasn't just background noise during your kid's TV time. It was legitimately good television that modeled emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, and sibling respect while being absolutely hilarious. The poster is a future collectible, a piece of early 2000s pop culture that actually holds up.

🍿 Why you need a Max & Ruby (2002) poster on your wall 🤔

Here's the truth: This poster proves you were there. You watched when it mattered. You didn't discover Max & Ruby through some algorithm or recommendation engine. You lived through the original run. You watched Max communicate exclusively through grunts and single syllables while Ruby executed increasingly complex organizational schemes. You were there when the show took risks by actually developing Max's character across seasons, letting him speak full sentences by season six and creating character depth that kids' shows rarely attempted.

This isn't just decoration. This is credibility on your wall. When someone walks into your space and sees this poster, they instantly know you have impeccable taste in television history. You're not someone who settles for generic art. You're someone who understands that the best children's programming combines genuine humor with emotional authenticity.

The Max & Ruby poster is a conversation starter for the right people. The people who'll see it and immediately start sharing their favorite episodes, debating whether Max was actually speaking English or if Ruby just had superhuman translation abilities, discussing the show's surprisingly sophisticated approach to sibling dynamics. You'll find your people through this poster.

Plus, let's be real: your wall currently looks like you haven't made a decision about your life in seven years. This poster changes that narrative immediately. It says you have opinions, that you care about quality, that you remember when television actually tried. In an age of endless streaming content and algorithmic recommendations, owning a poster from a show you genuinely love is an act of intentionality.

This is the kind of poster that gets better with age. Years from now, Max & Ruby will be recognized as a genuine classic of children's animation. You'll have been ahead of that curve. That's worth displaying.

📼 Stop Scrolling 🤚 Own the Max & Ruby (2002) Collector's Print: Geeky Specs & Shipping

This isn't your dorm room poster situation. We're printing on 240 g/m² heavyweight premium poster paper, museum-quality stock that feels substantial the moment you hold it. The paper weight alone tells you this thing was built to last decades, not months. This is archival-grade material, the same stuff museums use for pieces they plan to preserve indefinitely.

The glossy finish isn't just for show. It creates a protective layer that resists fading, dust, and the casual finger smudges that plague lesser posters. Colors remain vibrant, blacks stay deep and rich, and the overall visual impact stays exactly as intended for years. The printing process uses professional-grade inks that bond with the paper fibers themselves, creating something that won't peel, crack, or deteriorate. You're not buying a temporary decoration; you're acquiring a piece of Max & Ruby (2002) history.

Shipping specifics: A4 and A3 formats arrive perfectly flat in reinforced protective packaging designed to keep your poster pristine. No curls from rolled tubes, no bent corners from rough handling. Larger A2 and A1 formats are carefully rolled in heavy-duty cardboard tubes that provide maximum protection during transit while keeping them manageable for delivery. Everything arrives ready to frame instantly, no damage assessments or disappointment required.

The poster works in any framing situation. Aluminum frames make it look gallery-ready. Glass or acrylic offers UV protection for long-term display. Even frame-free options work if you're mounting it directly to your wall. The paper's weight means it won't sag or warp regardless of your display choice. This is professional-grade material that respects your investment.

Storage is equally thoughtful. These posters stack safely without damage, roll without creasing when necessary, and maintain their integrity whether you're displaying them immediately or preserving them for future rotation. The materials used throughout the production process prioritize longevity over quick turnover. This is sustainable collecting done right.

🎞️ Framing the Genius: Max & Ruby (2002)'s Visual Legacy

Max & Ruby's visual language was deceptively sophisticated for a children's program. The animation style, produced by Nelvana Limited, employed a clean, minimalist approach that prioritized character expression over flashy technical flourishes. This was intentional restraint, the kind of artistic decision that separates shows designed to actually engage their audience from content designed merely to occupy screen time.

The color palette deserves specific analysis. Pastels dominate the visual world, but not in a saccharine way. Instead, the soft color scheme creates psychological comfort while maintaining visual clarity. Max and Ruby's white fur contrasts beautifully against these muted backgrounds, ensuring they remain the focal point. The show's color theory understands that young viewers process information differently, that bold saturation can overwhelm, that softer tones invite sustained attention rather than brief glances.

The art direction reflects the show's core themes through environmental storytelling. The domestic spaces Max and Ruby inhabit are organized but lived-in, suggesting stability without sterility. The backyard functions as an entire universe of adventure, framed in ways that make ordinary spaces feel genuinely exciting. The cinematography, while animated, uses compositional principles borrowed from live-action filmmaking: strategic framing that guides viewer attention, perspective choices that create emotional resonance, backgrounds that enhance rather than distract from character moments.

Iconic imagery emerges naturally from this visual approach. Max's expressions communicate volumes despite minimal animation. Ruby's organizational systems, visualized through thoughtful set design, become almost character-like themselves. The poster captures this visual language perfectly, preserving the artistic choices that made Max & Ruby visually distinctive among its contemporaries. It's animation that respects both children and art itself.

👀 Did You Know? 🤯 Fun facts about Max & Ruby (2002)

Max & Ruby was originally based on the book series by Rosemary Wells, who created these characters specifically for children's literature before they ever graced television screens. Two Max & Ruby books had already been adapted into short films by Weston Woods and Michael Sporn Animation in 1988 and 1991, proving the characters had longevity before the series even existed. When the television adaptation arrived in 2002, it wasn't building from nothing; it was extending a legacy that spanned multiple decades.

The production scale was genuinely impressive. When introduced to broadcasters and investors at MIPTV in April 2002, the show was pitched as consisting of 130 twenty-two-minute episodes. That's not a pilot project. That's a commitment from day one, suggesting everyone involved understood they were creating something with staying power. The early episode count became reality: 130 half-hour episodes eventually produced, with the series running strong enough to conclude naturally rather than get cancelled mid-momentum.

Voice acting deserves recognition. Samantha Morton, Billy Rosemberg, Julie Lemieux, and Katie Griffin brought authentic emotion to these characters, creating performances that felt genuinely natural rather than affected. Max's communication evolution across seasons meant these voice actors had to develop the character's vocabulary and emotional sophistication alongside the narrative progression. That kind of character arc in children's television requires talented performers capable of subtle acting.

The final episode aired on April 9, 2020, marking a complete narrative arc spanning nearly two decades. The show wasn't quietly cancelled or allowed to fade. It concluded. That's increasingly rare in television, where beloved programs often end abruptly due to network politics. Max & Ruby got an actual ending, a proper sendoff that respected the audience that had invested in these characters for so long.

Current cultural buzz confirms what longtime fans always knew: Max & Ruby is experiencing critical reassessment as a genuinely important children's program. The show tackled sibling dynamics with more authenticity and emotional intelligence than most adult television achieved. That legacy makes owning this poster feel like participation in television history recognition.

🚀 Why UPS®?
Because it’s simply the fastest international carrier, with one of the best delivery services in the world. We’d rather invest in reliability than turn your delivery into a Mission: Impossible scenario.

💸 We cover a large part of the shipping costs, because our goal is simple: to offer you the best delivery service possible, wherever you are in the world, no compromises.

Yes. And not just “kind of” 😌 As soon as your order leaves our warehouse, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with a UPS® tracking link.

📦 With UPS®, you can track your poster in real time, step by step, almost like Nick Fury monitoring his agents.

📲 For tracking to work perfectly, it’s very important to double-check all your details before placing your order:

  • Complete and correct delivery address (This happens every day: missing house number, wrong country selected, incomplete street name…)
  • Valid and accessible email address
  • Correct phone number

🎬 Let’s be honest:
All we want is for your package with your awesome new poster to arrive as fast as possible, and in perfect condition.

A quick check now saves you from needing a Back to the Future-style time travel to fix a wrong address.

📧 One more important thing about email:
Please don’t use a throwaway or inaccessible email address. We won’t spam you (we’re not Skynet), but:

  • UPS® pickup codes are sent by email
  • Delivery notifications too

Without access to your inbox, there’s unfortunately nothing we can do, and your package may vanish forever, like a lost VHS tape from the 90s.

🎥 In short:
You know where your package is, when it arrives, and how to collect it, no need to play Sherlock Holmes or watch the street like Walter White behind the curtains.

🔄 What if I want to return my poster ?

We get it, even Citizen Kane didn’t please everyone.

🎨 Custom posters

Custom posters are non-returnable and non-refundable. They’re printed specifically for you, like a James Bond–tailored suit: once it’s made, it’s yours.

📦 Non-custom posters

For non-custom posters, please refer to our detailed return policy at the bottom of the page, under “Delivery Issues”. This section clearly explains return, refund, and resolution conditions.

🚚 Delivery issues (delay, lost or damaged package) If:

  • Your order hasn’t arrived within the estimated timeframe
  • Your package is lost
  • Your poster arrives damaged

👉 contact us at hello@popcornposter.com. We’ll immediately work with the carrier (UPS®) to resolve the issue.

📅 Please note:
The carrier has a formal process and timeline to declare a package as lost, 15 days after the estimated delivery date. Before that, the package is officially still “in transit”.

⏳ Delivery delays & right to a refund

The right to a refund for delivery delays only applies if the delay is not caused by force majeure or circumstances beyond the seller’s control (weather conditions, strikes, exceptional events, etc.).

According to European Directive 2011/83/EU:

  • If no fixed delivery time is specified (only an estimate),
  • The seller must deliver the order within a reasonable timeframe, typically up to 30 days from the order confirmation

If this timeframe is exceeded, the seller is granted an additional one-week period to complete the delivery.

🎬 In short:
We never leave customers without support, but we also believe in solving things calmly, without a failed-season-finale level of drama.

Orders & Payments

Orders, payments & behind-the-scenes details (The part people skip… but shouldn’t)

💳 What payment methods do you accept ?

We keep it simple and secure 🔒

We accept:

  • Credit & debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
  • PayPal
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay

All payments are 100% secure. Even Bruce Wayne would approve this checkout.

✏️ Can I change or cancel my order ?

Yes… and we’ve even built in a little flexibility 😌

👉 After payment, you have a 30-minute window to contact us if you’d like to:

  • Change the poster size
  • Switch the frame color
  • Upgrade from unframed to framed

Because sometimes you realize after checkout that the black frame would look way better and that’s totally fine.

⏱️ After this 30-minute window, your order enters production. At that point, changes are no longer possible, kind of like trying to rewrite a movie after the end credits.

🖼️ Good to know about delivery:

  • Framed posters arrive fully framed, ready to hang
  • Unframed posters are carefully protected in a plastic protective film
  • A4 and A3 unframed posters are shipped flat, not rolled, to prevent any deformation and ensure a perfect finish right out of the package

Our goal is simple:

to make sure your poster arrives fast, well-protected, and exactly how you imagined it, no bad surprises.

🧾 Will I receive an order confirmation and invoice ?

Absolutely 😌

After placing your order, you’ll receive:

  • An order confirmation email
  • An invoice with all details

If you don’t see it, check your spam folder (sometimes emails disappear like mail at Hogwarts).

Need a custom invoice? Just contact us.

💥 My order arrived damaged, what should I do ?

First: breathe 😌
Yes, it can happen. Even with the best carrier in the world, a delivery driver can have a bad day, be in a rush, or your package can go through a real adventure during transit.

👉 The good news:
Since working with UPS®, damaged packages are very rare.
Trust us… you don’t want to know how many emails we used to get with our previous carriers 😅

That problem is now solved thanks to:

  • Stronger protection
  • Better packaging
  • Much more reliable delivery

But let’s be real :
Packages travel for several days. They can fall, be stacked, sometimes crushed… Honestly, we should put a GoPro inside a package to see what it goes through 🎥📦

🚚 When we hand packages over to UPS®, everything is perfect :

Paolo, our UPS® driver, comes by every day with a smile, packages leave well protected and damage-free. After that… they go on their journey.

👉 If you’re part of the 1% of cases where a package arrives damaged :

It’s not a big deal. it’s annoying (we agree), and trust me:

👉 if I ordered something and received it damaged, I’d be annoyed too.

Here’s what to do calmly 👇

  1. Take a photo of the package
  2. Take a photo of the poster
  3. Email us at hello@popcornposter.com

(with your order number, ex. #1001)

🙅‍♂️ Not via TikTok

🙅‍♂️ And unfortunately… not by owls either ⚡🦉

Why ? Because email allows us to :

  • Properly track your case

📬 Marion checks emails every single day and replies to everyone.

If we have all the required info, within 24 hours, we’ll find a solution together, fast, and one that works for you.

🙏 Friendly advice :

  • Please avoid ALL CAPS emails
  • Avoid aggressive or entitled tones

Otherwise Marion gets angry… and I have to deal with her being angry all day 😡😅

Nobody wins.

If Marion solved your issue (and trust us, she really solves them all), please consider leaving a Trustpilot review mentioning her name: Marion isn’t ChatGPT, she reads every review, and she’ll absolutely love seeing her name mentioned with positive feedback 👀😇

🎬 Bottom line :

We ship dozens of packages every day, we do everything we can to make sure everything arrives perfectly, and when something goes wrong, we own it and fix it.

Simple, human, efficient. 🫶

❓ I haven’t received my order, what should I do?

First things first, something very important 👇 (No panic, this isn’t an episode of Lost.)

👉 Make sure you entered complete and accurate contact details when placing your order:

  • Correct delivery address
  • Valid email address
  • Phone number

Without this information, even the best carrier in the world can’t work miracles.

📦 All orders are tracked via UPS®, and the tracking is (truly) extremely precise.

🎬 A quick look at your package’s journey:

  • As soon as we create your shipping label and attach it to the package → Bam, email
  • Every day around 12 PM, Paolo, our awesome UPS® driver, comes by to collect the parcels
  • Before your package even enters his super truck, Paolo scans each parcel one by oneBam, email
  • When he drops your package at the UPS® logistics hub for proper routing → Quick scan, Bam email

👉 Result: you receive an email at every single movement of your package. Your poster is tracked more closely than a main character in a TV series.

🖨️ Important note for custom posters:

Custom posters may require up to 24 additional hours of processing, depending on demand. Why ?

Because this one isn’t in stock, we create it ourselves, specifically for you. Nothing to worry about, it may just take a little longer, and that’s completely normal.

Now, real-world shipping reality :

Delays can happen (weather conditions, logistics issues, unexpected events). It’s not common, but it happens.

👉 We only really start worrying after 7 business days (excluding weekends).

If that timeframe is exceeded, contact us and we’ll immediately open an investigation with UPS®.

🎬 Bottom line:
We never leave a customer without a solution, but we also avoid jumping to conclusions like a Netflix thriller after 10 minutes.

If you’re really worried about where your order might be hiding, send us an email at hello@popcornposter.com and Marion will take care of the investigation with Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Machine 🕵️‍♂️🚐🍿

About Our Products

This is where we answer all the questions your brain asks while staring at a poster thinking : “Okay… but is it really that cool in real life?” Spoiler: it is.

🍿 What kind of posters do you sell ?

At Popcorn Poster, we don’t do “a bit of home decor.” We do cinema. A lot of cinema. Probably too much cinema. 🎬🍿

More specifically, our catalog includes thousands of movie and TV series posters, in multiple languages, sourced from cinemas all around the world.

Yes ! we’re talking about one of the largest movie poster catalogs in the world. And no, we’re not just saying that for fun (okay… maybe a little).

You’ll find posters from:

  • 🎥 cult movies you can quote by heart
  • 🏛️ timeless classics you deeply respect
  • 🚀 recent films that blew your mind
  • 📺 iconic TV series you binge-watched “just one episode”… until sunrise

And most importantly : 👉 in multiple languages, because cinema has never spoken just one.

🎞️ Where do our posters come from?

Our posters can be:

  • Original cinema posters, used in theaters around the world
  • Or high-quality reprints, when the original isn’t available in the size you choose

Either way, we’re obsessive about quality, so the final result looks amazing on your wall, not just accurate on paper.

🎬 What if I can’t find the movie or series of my dreams?

That’s exactly why we created CHOOSE YOUR MOVIE 🕶️ If you can’t find what you’re looking for :

  1. Simply type the movie or TV show name
  2. Choose the size
  3. And we take care of the rest

👉 No endless searching

👉 No comparing random websites

👉 No DIY headaches

You choose.

We print.

You receive your poster.

🎥 In short:

Popcorn Poster means:

  • A massive catalog
  • Worldwide cinema
  • Thousands of references
  • And the certainty that even if you don’t see it right away…

    👉 your movie exists here.
🖨️ Is the print quality actually that good ?

Let’s be honest right from the start :

👉 these are probably the worst posters of all time. Blurry, poorly printed, dull colors… Basically, the kind of quality you’d expect from a movie filmed on a phone in the back row of a cinema in 2004.

Okay, obviously not 😄 If that were true, we’d be selling bootleg DVDs in a parking lot.

🎬 Let’s get serious (but not too serious)

Our posters are designed to last, not just look good in an Instagram story.

🖨️ For reprinted posters (when the original isn’t available in your chosen size) :

  • We use eco-friendly, long-lasting, high-quality inks
  • Resistant to time and light
  • To avoid the “yellowing poster after a few months” effect

📄 The paper:

  • 240g museum-grade paper
  • Thick, premium feel
  • Elegant matte finish

Definitely not thin paper that wrinkles if you breathe near it.

🖼️ The frames:

  • Made of aluminum
  • Lightweight once on the wall
  • Won’t warp
  • Won’t lose color over time
  • Impressive lifespan

The kind of frame you hang, forget about, and still looks perfect years later.

🎞️ One important (and honest) thing to know

As you might expect :

👉 The older the movie, the more the print quality depends on the original source.

A movie poster from the 1970s:

  • Won’t always look ultra-sharp 4K
  • And that’s completely normal

It’s like watching The Godfather: Not Dolby Vision 2025, but that’s exactly part of its charm.

🎬 Bottom line:

Our posters are:

  • Carefully printed
  • Made with premium materials
  • Designed to last
  • And respectful of cinema history

Not a tired VHS, not fake overhyped 4K, but an honest, cinematic result, as it should be.

🖼️ Are the frames high quality ?

Let’s start with the truth: 👉 of course not.
We love wasting time, money, and energy selling terrible frames.

Okay, obviously no 😄 If that were the case, we’d do what everyone else does: cheap, fragile frames and “good luck assembling it yourself.”

🎬 A true story

At first, we used wooden frames. On paper, they looked nice. In real life? Not so much.

👉 Once on the wall, they warped over time.

👉 And during shipping… they could literally break apart.

So we made a simple decision:

🛑 stop using wood

✅ switch to aluminum

🖼️ Why aluminum?

Because:

  • It’s lightweight (no Final Destination moment for your wall)
  • It doesn’t warp
  • It doesn’t yellow
  • It keeps its color for years
  • And has an impressive lifespan

🎬 In short:

frames built to last longer than most movie trilogies.

🛠️ And most importantly… no IKEA-style assembly

When you order a framed poster from Popcorn Poster,

👉 it arrives already framed, ready to hang.

Not like:

  • Some poster sellers
  • Or an IKEA piece you assemble on a Sunday night with one screw left over

We do the work for you.

🎨 What we actually do (and yes, it takes time)

  • We select the frame (black, chrome, white…)
  • Carefully place the poster inside
  • Make sure no dust or hair sneaks in
  • Wrap everything in our protective sleeves
  • Place it in strong packaging
  • And off it goes 🚚🍿

✨ The finish

Our frames have:

  • A slightly matte finish
  • With just a touch of shine

Once on the wall or on a shelf, it makes a real difference in a home. Because a poster isn’t just decoration.

It’s:

  • An atmosphere
  • A soul
  • Your personality on display

You’re not going to pick a generic, ugly frame everyone else has.

👉 Your home represents who you are.

And every day, when you walk past your poster, you’ll feel that little moment of satisfaction. You’ll see 😌
