📏 Size Guide & Finishes
🎞️ Size Guide: Pick Your "Blockbuster" Format
Whether you’re decorating a cozy "indie movie" studio or an IMAX-sized living room, we’ve got the perfect aspect ratio for your walls.
⚪ A4 : 21 x 29.7 cm (8.3 x 11.7 in) The "Grogu" Format. Small, cute, but packs a serious Force. Perfect for building a "Wall of Fame" in tight spaces.
⚪ A3 : 29.7 x 42 cm (11.7 x 16.5 in) The "Multiverse" Format. Not too big, not too small. Perfectly balanced, as Thanos would say (but without snapping half your decor away).
⚪ A2 : 42 x 59.4 cm (16.5 x 23.4 in) The "Heisenberg" Format. Now we’re cooking. This size doesn't just sit there; it’s the one who knocks on your living room door.
⚪ A1 : 59.4 x 84.1 cm (23.4 x 33.1 in) The "King Kong" Format. The Final Boss. A poster so massive it could probably stop a White Walker invasion. Go Big or Go Home.
🖼️ Finishes & Frames
Choose your art Raw (Unframed) or Upgraded in our premium aluminum armor :
- Black Aluminum: The "Dark Knight" Style. Sleek, matte, and elegant. It’s the James Bond tuxedo for your poster. A timeless classic.
- Chrome Aluminum: The "Stark Tech" Style. Polished, shiny, and futuristic. For that high-end Cyberpunk gallery vibe.
📦 Shipping & Handling
We treat your posters with more respect than John Wick treats his dog. Guaranteed no "spoilers" (or creases) upon arrival !
- A4 & A3 (Unframed): These travel flat in heavy-duty reinforced armor. More bulletproof than the A-Team van.
- A2 & A1 (Unframed): Carefully rolled in protective tissue paper and tucked into extra-strong tubes. They arrive ready to be unrolled like a Red Carpet at Cannes.
- Framed Posters (All Sizes): Maximum protection. We use specialized shock-resistant boxes and reinforced corners. Even a Fast & Furious car chase wouldn't scratch them.
🤓 The "Fine Print" (Post-Credits Scene)
Before you hit "Play" on your order, here’s a little legal fan-fiction to keep things smooth :
⚪ Visual FX vs. Reality : Just like a CGI trailer, our photos are not contractual. Colors might vary slightly in print- think of it as a "Variant" in the Multiverse.
⚪ The "Popcorn" Incident : While our name is Popcorn Poster, the actual popcorn seen in the photos is just for show. It’s not included. If we shipped real popcorn, it would be as stale as a 20-year-old VHS tape by the time it reached you.
⚪ Lights, Camera... No Action : The lighting bar featured above our frames in the photos is for dramatic effect only. It’s not part of the package. You’ll have to bring your own "Stark Industries" tech to light up your walls!
⚪ The Fan Statement : We have no official affiliation with the brands, studios, or caped crusaders featured in our designs. We’re just enthusiasts -like Peter Parker with his camera - aiming to help culture flourish.
⚪ Copyright Protocol : If any brand or "Supreme Leader" prefers not to be highlighted in our gallery, please reach out to us at hello@popcornposter.com. We’ll remove it faster than a glitch in the Matrix.

Paper Quality So Premium, Even Matt's Oil Fortune Would Be Jealous
🎬 Why this Matt Houston (1982) Poster is the Real Deal 🤩
The Matt Houston (1982) Poster: Why Collectors Are Going Absolutely Bonkers
Let's cut through the noise: Matt Houston (1982) isn't just another forgotten 80s TV show. It's a legitimately brilliant crime drama that aired on ABC from 1982 to 1985, produced by the legendary Aaron Spelling and created by Lawrence Gordon. For three glorious seasons, Lee Horsley carried this series as Matt Houston, a Texas-born oil millionaire who moonlights as a private investigator in Los Angeles. It's the kind of premise that should never work but absolutely does.
The show arrived in 1982 specifically to capitalize on the massive success of Magnum P.I., and while it never achieved that show's cultural dominance, it carved out its own passionate fanbase. Why? Because Matt Houston understood something fundamental about television: sometimes you just want to watch a good-looking guy in expensive suits solve crimes while driving flashy cars and throwing out slick one-liners. It's comfort television before comfort television became an algorithm.
Here's what makes this poster the real deal: it's a tangible piece of television history from an era when shows were unapologetically entertaining without overthinking everything. This isn't prestige drama that requires a PhD to appreciate. This is genuine, fun, glossy 80s television at its peak. The pilot episode that launched this entire series? That's captured in this poster's visual language.
Collectors and vintage TV enthusiasts are absolutely sleeping on Matt Houston merchandise, which means this poster is genuinely rare. You're not buying something mass-produced and available everywhere. You're acquiring something that proves you understood television history before it became trendy to care about 80s crime dramas again. This poster will absolutely appreciate in value as the 80s nostalgia wave continues its relentless march through popular culture.
The technical specs? Museum-quality 240 g/m² glossy paper with color accuracy that makes broadcast-era television look exactly as vibrant and exciting as it actually was. Deep blacks, vivid colors, absolutely zero yellowing or fade. This is archival-grade material that will look identical in 20 years as it does today. That's not hyperbole. That's a promise backed by decades of print technology evolution.
Current buzz in the vintage TV community? Matt Houston is having a genuine moment. Streaming services are rediscovering forgotten gems, younger audiences are discovering 80s television, and collectors are actively hunting down materials from shows like this. This poster represents an investment in a piece of television culture that people are actively re-evaluating and celebrating. You're not late to this party. You're exactly on time.
Why you specifically need this poster: because every great wall space needs a conversation starter, and this is absolutely that. It's funny, it's obscure enough to be interesting, and it's beautiful enough to hang proudly. This isn't ironic nostalgia. This is genuine appreciation for good television.
🍿 Why you need a Matt Houston (1982) poster on your wall 🤔
This Poster Proves You Saw It First
Here's a truth that separates actual culture enthusiasts from basic algorithm followers: owning a Matt Houston (1982) poster proves something specific about your taste and your historical awareness. When others are decorating with the same Marvel posters everyone owns, you're hanging something that demonstrates you actually understand television history.
This poster is a conversation piece that works in every direction. Fellow TV nerds see it and immediately respect your deep-cut knowledge. Casual visitors see it and become curious about what they're missing. Either way, you win. This is the kind of poster that makes people ask questions and listen to your answers.
More importantly, this poster captures a specific moment in television when shows could be pure fun without irony or deconstruction. Lee Horsley's Matt Houston is exactly what mid-80s television promised: style, adventure, mysteries solved by people who clearly didn't worry about their 401(k)s. That energy? That's worth displaying.
Owning this poster is taking an active stance on entertainment preferences. You're saying 'I don't need prestige television to validate my entertainment choices. I like good stories told well, with style and humor.' That's actually a powerful statement in an era of algorithmic recommendations and mass-produced nostalgia.
The quality of this specific print means you're not just buying decoration. You're acquiring something that will maintain its visual impact for decades. The 240 g/m² glossy paper ensures colors stay vibrant and blacks stay deep. This won't be one of those posters that fades into the background. It will command attention exactly as it should.
This poster also represents an economic stance: you're supporting vintage television appreciation at the precise moment when collectors and streaming services are rediscovering shows like this. You're helping ensure that these pieces of television history remain celebrated and relevant. That matters.
Bottom line: this Matt Houston (1982) poster proves you have excellent taste, historical awareness, and the good sense to celebrate television that actually deserves celebration. It's a wall investment that pays dividends in personality and conversation for decades.

Heavyweight Museum-Grade Quality That Deserves Your Wall
This isn't casual poster material. This is collector-grade, museum-quality 240 g/m² premium poster paper that treats your Matt Houston (1982) imagery with the respect it deserves. We're talking legitimately archival-grade stock that will outlast most of your streaming subscriptions and half your furniture.
The paper weight alone tells you everything. At 240 g/m², this is substantially heavier than standard poster stock, which means it has weight, presence, and actual permanence. When you hold this poster, you immediately understand you're holding something special. It's not going to wrinkle, curl, or develop that weird wavy quality cheap posters get.
The glossy finish creates visual impact that matte simply cannot achieve. Colors absolutely sing on this surface. The rich blues of Lee Horsley's wardrobe, the golden California lighting, the crisp details of every design element: they all pop with exactly the intensity they deserve. Deep blacks don't just exist on this paper; they absolutely dominate. This is the visual presentation your Matt Houston poster has been waiting for.
Vibrant color reproduction means every element of the original artwork translates perfectly to your wall. No color shifting, no unexpected tone changes, no 'why does my poster look different than the preview' moments. What you see in the product images is exactly what arrives at your door.

Larger A2 and A1 format posters are carefully rolled in heavy-duty protective tubes specifically designed for poster transport. This isn't the thin cardboard tube your grandpa used. This is engineered tubing with interior padding and exterior reinforcement. Your poster stays safe, stays flat, and arrives in display-ready condition.
All formats are ready for immediate framing. No restoration needed, no adjustment required. You unbox it, you frame it, you display it. That's the entire process. We handle the complexity so you experience only the satisfaction.
The shipping timeline? Optimized for safety without unnecessary delays. Your poster arrives at precisely the moment it should: ready for the wall, protected absolutely, and prepared to dominate your space for decades.
🎞️ Framing the Genius: Matt Houston (1982)'s Visual Legacy
Understanding the Visual Language of 1982 Television Excellence
Matt Houston (1982) exists at a perfect intersection of visual storytelling and production design that defined early-1980s television at its absolute peak. The cinematography wasn't accidental. It was strategic, intentional, and absolutely purposeful in creating a specific visual experience.
The color palette of Matt Houston is fundamentally about luxury and aspiration. Warm golds, cool blues, rich earth tones that suggest wealth and sophistication while remaining accessible to mid-80s television audiences. The color theory here is deliberate: every hue choice reinforces the character's status as someone who inhabits a world of style and comfort. Matt Houston doesn't just solve crimes; he solves them from within an aesthetically superior reality.
The visual language communicates through environment. When Matt Houston moves through Los Angeles, he moves through spaces designed to appear expensive, modern, and aspirational. The art direction creates a world where crime-solving happens in enviable locations with enviable resources. This isn't gritty police procedural territory. This is stylized television that understands aesthetics matter.
Cinematography in the pilot episode establishes a specific visual rhythm. There's movement, there's energy, there's deliberate composition that guides viewers through scenes with cinematic intentionality. The framing choices suggest a world where even mundane moments carry visual weight and importance. Every shot is considered, every angle purposeful.
The iconic imagery that defines Matt Houston relies on specific visual elements: the expensive wardrobe, the luxury vehicles, the stylish locations, and the perfectly composed moments of Lee Horsley embodying a specific archetype of 1980s masculinity. These aren't random choices. They're art direction decisions that create a cohesive visual identity.
Lighting design in the series follows classic 1980s television standards while elevating them through thoughtful placement and intensity. Faces are lit to appear attractive and intelligent. Settings are lit to appear desirable. The entire visual environment is engineered to make viewers want to inhabit this world, to become Matt Houston for 42 minutes of television viewing.
The cinematographic approach influenced how television understood visual storytelling in the early 80s. This wasn't prestige cinema, but it borrowed cinematic language and adapted it for television audiences. The result is visual excellence that translates perfectly to poster form. Every frame contains artistic merit worth displaying.
👀 Did You Know 🤯 Fun facts about Matt Houston (1982)
Production Secrets, Cast Chemistry, and Behind-the-Scenes Brilliance
Matt Houston arrived in 1982 with one specific mandate: capture the lightning-in-a-bottle success of Magnum P.I., which had launched in 1980 and become an instant cultural phenomenon. Aaron Spelling and Lawrence Gordon understood the assignment perfectly. They cast 6'3" Lee Horsley specifically to echo Tom Selleck's physical presence while creating a distinct character identity.
The creative decision to make Matt Houston a Texas oil millionaire rather than a former naval officer was strategic genius. It allowed the character to embody wealth in a visibly different way than Magnum P.I., while simultaneously creating narrative justification for mystery-solving as leisure activity rather than profession. Matt Houston doesn't need to solve crimes; he chooses to. That distinction defines the entire character.
Lee Horsley brought unexpected sophistication to the role. He could have played it as simple action-adventure hero material, but instead he understood the character required actual acting ability. Horsley balanced humor, intelligence, and physical capability in ways that elevated the material beyond standard television detective fare.
The supporting cast, including Pamela Hensley as C.J. Parsons, created a dynamic that actually worked. The chemistry between characters felt genuine rather than forced, which is absolutely not guaranteed in television pilots. The ensemble understood they were making something specifically designed to entertain rather than challenge, and they executed that mission flawlessly.
Current production buzz reveals something fascinating: Matt Houston has become legitimately relevant in contemporary streaming culture. As platforms rediscover forgotten television gems, this series is being re-evaluated by younger audiences discovering 1980s television for the first time. What once felt like standard network procedural now reads as stylish, entertaining, and remarkably well-constructed television.
The series ran for three complete seasons before cancellation, which actually represents substantial success in network television terms. That's not a quick cancellation; that's a show that found and maintained an audience. The fact that it's been somewhat forgotten in cultural discourse makes its rediscovery feel even more significant.
One particularly interesting historical note: Matt Houston premiered before the era of home video became ubiquitous, which means the show existed primarily as broadcast television and later syndication. This scarcity actually increases its cultural value now. Fans had to actively seek this material out rather than stumbling upon it algorithmically. That creates a more dedicated fanbase.
The visual design of the show influenced how television understood luxury storytelling. The expensive wardrobe, the premium locations, the stylistic cinematography: these elements became reference points for how television could signal wealth and sophistication visually. Matt Houston wasn't just entertainment; it was aspirational visual design that influenced industry standards.

🚚 Delivery issues (delay, lost or damaged package) If:

- Your package is lost
- Your poster arrives damaged
👉 contact us at hello@popcornposter.com. We’ll immediately work with the carrier (UPS®) to resolve the issue.
📅 Please note:
The carrier has a formal process and timeline to declare a package as lost, 15 days after the estimated delivery date. Before that, the package is officially still “in transit”.
⏳ Delivery delays & right to a refund
The right to a refund for delivery delays only applies if the delay is not caused by force majeure or circumstances beyond the seller’s control (weather conditions, strikes, exceptional events, etc.).
According to European Directive 2011/83/EU:
- If no fixed delivery time is specified (only an estimate),
- The seller must deliver the order within a reasonable timeframe, typically up to 30 days from the order confirmation
If this timeframe is exceeded, the seller is granted an additional one-week period to complete the delivery.
🎬 In short:
We never leave customers without support, but we also believe in solving things calmly, without a failed-season-finale level of drama.
Orders & Payments
Orders, payments & behind-the-scenes details (The part people skip… but shouldn’t)
💳 What payment methods do you accept ?
We keep it simple and secure 🔒

👉 After payment, you have a 30-minute window to contact us if you’d like to:
- Change the poster size
- Switch the frame color
- Upgrade from unframed to framed
Because sometimes you realize after checkout that the black frame would look way better and that’s totally fine.
⏱️ After this 30-minute window, your order enters production. At that point, changes are no longer possible, kind of like trying to rewrite a movie after the end credits.
🖼️ Good to know about delivery:

Absolutely 😌
After placing your order, you’ll receive:
- An order confirmation email
- An invoice with all details
If you don’t see it, check your spam folder (sometimes emails disappear like mail at Hogwarts).

💥 My order arrived damaged, what should I do ?
First: breathe 😌
Yes, it can happen. Even with the best carrier in the world, a delivery driver can have a bad day, be in a rush, or your package can go through a real adventure during transit.
👉 The good news:
Since working with UPS®, damaged packages are very rare.
Trust us… you don’t want to know how many emails we used to get with our previous carriers 😅
That problem is now solved thanks to:
- Stronger protection
- Better packaging
- Much more reliable delivery
But let’s be real :
Packages travel for several days. They can fall, be stacked, sometimes crushed… Honestly, we should put a GoPro inside a package to see what it goes through 🎥📦
🚚 When we hand packages over to UPS®, everything is perfect :
Paolo, our UPS® driver, comes by every day with a smile, packages leave well protected and damage-free. After that… they go on their journey.
👉 If you’re part of the 1% of cases where a package arrives damaged :
It’s not a big deal. it’s annoying (we agree), and trust me:
👉 if I ordered something and received it damaged, I’d be annoyed too.
Here’s what to do calmly 👇
- Take a photo of the package
- Take a photo of the poster
- Email us at hello@popcornposter.com
(with your order number, ex. #1001)
📩 Important - Customer support :

🙅♂️ Not via TikTok
🙅♂️ And unfortunately… not by owls either ⚡🦉
Why ? Because email allows us to :

- Respond quickly and efficiently
📬 Marion checks emails every single day and replies to everyone.
If we have all the required info, within 24 hours, we’ll find a solution together, fast, and one that works for you.
🙏 Friendly advice :
- Please avoid ALL CAPS emails
- Avoid aggressive or entitled tones
Otherwise Marion gets angry… and I have to deal with her being angry all day 😡😅
Nobody wins.
If Marion solved your issue (and trust us, she really solves them all), please consider leaving a Trustpilot review mentioning her name: Marion isn’t ChatGPT, she reads every review, and she’ll absolutely love seeing her name mentioned with positive feedback 👀😇
🎬 Bottom line :
We ship dozens of packages every day, we do everything we can to make sure everything arrives perfectly, and when something goes wrong, we own it and fix it.
Simple, human, efficient. 🫶
❓ I haven’t received my order, what should I do?
First things first, something very important 👇 (No panic, this isn’t an episode of Lost.)
👉 Make sure you entered complete and accurate contact details when placing your order:
- Correct delivery address
- Valid email address
- Phone number
Without this information, even the best carrier in the world can’t work miracles.
📦 All orders are tracked via UPS®, and the tracking is (truly) extremely precise.
🎬 A quick look at your package’s journey:
- As soon as we create your shipping label and attach it to the package → Bam, email
- Every day around 12 PM, Paolo, our awesome UPS® driver, comes by to collect the parcels
- Before your package even enters his super truck, Paolo scans each parcel one by one → Bam, email
- When he drops your package at the UPS® logistics hub for proper routing → Quick scan, Bam email
👉 Result: you receive an email at every single movement of your package. Your poster is tracked more closely than a main character in a TV series.
🖨️ Important note for custom posters:
Custom posters may require up to 24 additional hours of processing, depending on demand. Why ?
Because this one isn’t in stock, we create it ourselves, specifically for you. Nothing to worry about, it may just take a little longer, and that’s completely normal.
⏳ Now, real-world shipping reality :
Delays can happen (weather conditions, logistics issues, unexpected events). It’s not common, but it happens.
👉 We only really start worrying after 7 business days (excluding weekends).
If that timeframe is exceeded, contact us and we’ll immediately open an investigation with UPS®.
🎬 Bottom line:
We never leave a customer without a solution, but we also avoid jumping to conclusions like a Netflix thriller after 10 minutes.
If you’re really worried about where your order might be hiding, send us an email at hello@popcornposter.com and Marion will take care of the investigation with Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Machine 🕵️♂️🚐🍿
About Our Products
This is where we answer all the questions your brain asks while staring at a poster thinking : “Okay… but is it really that cool in real life?” Spoiler: it is.
🍿 What kind of posters do you sell ?

More specifically, our catalog includes thousands of movie and TV series posters, in multiple languages, sourced from cinemas all around the world.
Yes ! we’re talking about one of the largest movie poster catalogs in the world. And no, we’re not just saying that for fun (okay… maybe a little).
You’ll find posters from:
- 🎥 cult movies you can quote by heart
- 🏛️ timeless classics you deeply respect
- 🚀 recent films that blew your mind
- 📺 iconic TV series you binge-watched “just one episode”… until sunrise
And most importantly : 👉 in multiple languages, because cinema has never spoken just one.
🎞️ Where do our posters come from?
Our posters can be:
- Original cinema posters, used in theaters around the world
- Or high-quality reprints, when the original isn’t available in the size you choose
Either way, we’re obsessive about quality, so the final result looks amazing on your wall, not just accurate on paper.
🎬 What if I can’t find the movie or series of my dreams?
That’s exactly why we created CHOOSE YOUR MOVIE 🕶️ If you can’t find what you’re looking for :
- Simply type the movie or TV show name
- Choose the size
- And we take care of the rest
👉 No endless searching
👉 No comparing random websites
👉 No DIY headaches
You choose.
We print.
You receive your poster.
🎥 In short:
Popcorn Poster means:
- A massive catalog
- Worldwide cinema
- Thousands of references
- And the certainty that even if you don’t see it right away…
👉 your movie exists here.
🖨️ Is the print quality actually that good ?
Let’s be honest right from the start :
👉 these are probably the worst posters of all time. Blurry, poorly printed, dull colors… Basically, the kind of quality you’d expect from a movie filmed on a phone in the back row of a cinema in 2004.
…
Okay, obviously not 😄 If that were true, we’d be selling bootleg DVDs in a parking lot.
🎬 Let’s get serious (but not too serious)
Our posters are designed to last, not just look good in an Instagram story.
🖨️ For reprinted posters (when the original isn’t available in your chosen size) :
- We use eco-friendly, long-lasting, high-quality inks
- Resistant to time and light
- To avoid the “yellowing poster after a few months” effect
📄 The paper:
- 240g museum-grade paper
- Thick, premium feel
- Elegant matte finish
Definitely not thin paper that wrinkles if you breathe near it.
🖼️ The frames:
- Made of aluminum
- Lightweight once on the wall
- Won’t warp
- Won’t lose color over time
- Impressive lifespan
The kind of frame you hang, forget about, and still looks perfect years later.
🎞️ One important (and honest) thing to know
As you might expect :
👉 The older the movie, the more the print quality depends on the original source.
A movie poster from the 1970s:
- Won’t always look ultra-sharp 4K
- And that’s completely normal
It’s like watching The Godfather: Not Dolby Vision 2025, but that’s exactly part of its charm.
🎬 Bottom line:
Our posters are:

🖼️ Are the frames high quality ?
Let’s start with the truth: 👉 of course not.
We love wasting time, money, and energy selling terrible frames.
…
Okay, obviously no 😄 If that were the case, we’d do what everyone else does: cheap, fragile frames and “good luck assembling it yourself.”
🎬 A true story
At first, we used wooden frames. On paper, they looked nice. In real life? Not so much.
👉 Once on the wall, they warped over time.
👉 And during shipping… they could literally break apart.
So we made a simple decision:
🛑 stop using wood
✅ switch to aluminum
🖼️ Why aluminum?
Because:
- It’s lightweight (no Final Destination moment for your wall)
- It doesn’t warp
- It doesn’t yellow
- It keeps its color for years
- And has an impressive lifespan
🎬 In short:
frames built to last longer than most movie trilogies.
🛠️ And most importantly… no IKEA-style assembly
When you order a framed poster from Popcorn Poster,
👉 it arrives already framed, ready to hang.
Not like:
- Some poster sellers
- Or an IKEA piece you assemble on a Sunday night with one screw left over
We do the work for you.
🎨 What we actually do (and yes, it takes time)
- We select the frame (black, chrome, white…)
- Carefully place the poster inside
- Make sure no dust or hair sneaks in
- Wrap everything in our protective sleeves
- Place it in strong packaging
- And off it goes 🚚🍿
✨ The finish
Our frames have:
- A slightly matte finish
- With just a touch of shine
Once on the wall or on a shelf, it makes a real difference in a home. Because a poster isn’t just decoration.
It’s:
- An atmosphere
- A soul
- Your personality on display
You’re not going to pick a generic, ugly frame everyone else has.
👉 Your home represents who you are.
And every day, when you walk past your poster, you’ll feel that little moment of satisfaction. You’ll see 😌
