📏 Size Guide & Finishes
🎞️ Size Guide: Pick Your "Blockbuster" Format
Whether you’re decorating a cozy "indie movie" studio or an IMAX-sized living room, we’ve got the perfect aspect ratio for your walls.
⚪ A4 : 21 x 29.7 cm (8.3 x 11.7 in) The "Grogu" Format. Small, cute, but packs a serious Force. Perfect for building a "Wall of Fame" in tight spaces.
⚪ A3 : 29.7 x 42 cm (11.7 x 16.5 in) The "Multiverse" Format. Not too big, not too small. Perfectly balanced, as Thanos would say (but without snapping half your decor away).
⚪ A2 : 42 x 59.4 cm (16.5 x 23.4 in) The "Heisenberg" Format. Now we’re cooking. This size doesn't just sit there; it’s the one who knocks on your living room door.
⚪ A1 : 59.4 x 84.1 cm (23.4 x 33.1 in) The "King Kong" Format. The Final Boss. A poster so massive it could probably stop a White Walker invasion. Go Big or Go Home.
🖼️ Finishes & Frames
Choose your art Raw (Unframed) or Upgraded in our premium aluminum armor :
- Black Aluminum: The "Dark Knight" Style. Sleek, matte, and elegant. It’s the James Bond tuxedo for your poster. A timeless classic.
- Chrome Aluminum: The "Stark Tech" Style. Polished, shiny, and futuristic. For that high-end Cyberpunk gallery vibe.
📦 Shipping & Handling
We treat your posters with more respect than John Wick treats his dog. Guaranteed no "spoilers" (or creases) upon arrival !
- A4 & A3 (Unframed): These travel flat in heavy-duty reinforced armor. More bulletproof than the A-Team van.
- A2 & A1 (Unframed): Carefully rolled in protective tissue paper and tucked into extra-strong tubes. They arrive ready to be unrolled like a Red Carpet at Cannes.
- Framed Posters (All Sizes): Maximum protection. We use specialized shock-resistant boxes and reinforced corners. Even a Fast & Furious car chase wouldn't scratch them.
🤓 The "Fine Print" (Post-Credits Scene)
Before you hit "Play" on your order, here’s a little legal fan-fiction to keep things smooth :
⚪ Visual FX vs. Reality : Just like a CGI trailer, our photos are not contractual. Colors might vary slightly in print- think of it as a "Variant" in the Multiverse.
⚪ The "Popcorn" Incident : While our name is Popcorn Poster, the actual popcorn seen in the photos is just for show. It’s not included. If we shipped real popcorn, it would be as stale as a 20-year-old VHS tape by the time it reached you.
⚪ Lights, Camera... No Action : The lighting bar featured above our frames in the photos is for dramatic effect only. It’s not part of the package. You’ll have to bring your own "Stark Industries" tech to light up your walls!
⚪ The Fan Statement : We have no official affiliation with the brands, studios, or caped crusaders featured in our designs. We’re just enthusiasts -like Peter Parker with his camera - aiming to help culture flourish.
⚪ Copyright Protocol : If any brand or "Supreme Leader" prefers not to be highlighted in our gallery, please reach out to us at hello@popcornposter.com. We’ll remove it faster than a glitch in the Matrix.

Wood Frames Suck: Aluminium Wins Joy's Threesome

Thicker Than Marc's Excuses: Claudia Udy-Level Paper Toughness
🎬 Why this Joy (1983) Poster is the Real Deal ? 🤩
Listen up, cult fiends: Joy (1983) isn't just some dusty VHS relic; it's the sleazy heartbeat of 80s Euro-erotica exploding onto your wall via this killer poster. Directed by Sergio Bergonzelli, this gem stars Claudia Udy as Joy, the fashion model with daddy issues thicker than Paris fog. She locks eyes with silver fox Marc (Gérard Antoine Huart) at an art gallery, mistaking him for her long-lost pops, and boom: instant threesome tour of France's seediest spots. Reviews? Letterboxd cultists rave about its kitschy 80s vibe, empty souls drowning in neon sexcapades. Offscreen calls it a horror-tinged erotic odyssey that kicks off like a slasher before devolving into passionate older-man worship.
The hype's real: Severin Films dropped a deluxe DVD in 2010 with Claudia Udy interviews, cementing its status as future trash-classic. Fans obsess over the Yugoslavian original poster art, all sultry stares and promise of forbidden fruit. This high-quality reprint? It nails every lurid detail: Joy's pouty lips, Marc's predatory grin, that electric tension begging for your man-cave. Why own it? Because in a world of Marvel meh, Joy delivers unfiltered 110 minutes of model-mayhem, museum hookups, and companion-shared romps that make modern rom-coms look like nun conventions.
Cinematography? Bergonzelli bathes Paris in soft-focus glow, color theory popping pinks and reds like Joy's blushing cheeks during her first 'passionate' encounter. Art direction screams 80s excess: modern galleries, lavish lofts, every frame a wet dream. Critics dig the psychological edge; Joy's father quest twists into Oedipal frenzy, all wrapped in Agnès Torrent and Elisabeth Mortensen's steamy support. Letterboxd logs call it 'pure 80s kitsch,' with users hooked on its unapologetic sleaze. Buzz today? Underground screenings, retro fest nods, Claudia Udy's reflections proving it's no forgotten flop.
This poster immortalizes the iconography: Joy front-and-center, radiating that 'impress me with your painting BS' allure. Printed on 240 g/m² gloss, it's built for decades of drooling admiration. Wall it up and flex: you snagged the cult sleeper before Netflix ruins it. Haters say it's lowbrow? Pfft, it's high-art horniness. Reviews from Offscreen praise the interview extras, Letterboxd memes the daddy dynamic. Future classic? Bet your vintage VHS. In 2026, as retro-porn revives, this poster's your ticket to 'I saw it first' cred. Grab it, frame it, live the Joy legend. Your walls deserve the debauchery.
🍿 Why you need a Joy (1983) poster on your wall ? 🤔
This poster proves you saw Joy (1983) first, you visionary pervert. While normies scroll TikTok, you're walls-deep in Sergio Bergonzelli's masterpiece of daddy-chasing ecstasy. Claudia Udy's Joy isn't just a model; she's your spirit animal, ditching her lame musician beau for Marc's gallery-game and Parisian pleasure parade. This print screams 'cult connoisseur' louder than Joy's moans echoing through French lofts.
Imagine: guests gawk, jaws dropped at the glossy capture of Joy's wide-eyed seduction, Marc's smug art-babble face, and that electric promise of threesomes with his mystery companion. It's not decor; it's a badge. Reviews hype the 80s cheese: Letterboxd laughs at the father-fixation fuckfest, Offscreen dissects the horror-to-horny pivot. You? You're ahead, owning the visual that launched a thousand rewatches.
High-energy sarcasm alert: skip the Banksy BS; this 240 g/m² glossy god delivers vibrant vice in every pixel. Colors pop like Joy's first climax, blacks deep as Marc's secrets. Hang it unframed or alu-snap it; either way, your pad transforms from bland to boulevard bliss. Prove you're no poser: this poster whispers 'I get the kink,' turning small talk into 'Wait, you've seen Joy?!'
Persuasion punch: in a sea of superhero sludge, Joy's raw erotic wanderlust reigns. Agnès Torrent and crew amp the menage madness, making every frame frame-worthy. Wall this and level up; it's the ultimate flex for geeks who laugh at prudes. Your future self thanks you when cult status skyrockets and you're the oracle with the OG poster. Snag it now; regret's for the roll-players who missed the Paris party.
📼 Stop Scrolling 🤚 Own the Joy (1983) Collector’s Print: Geeky Specs & Shipping
Dive into the nitty-gritty, cult hounds: our Joy (1983) poster rocks heavyweight 240 g/m² premium stock, museum-grade quality that laughs at fading fakes. Vibrant colors leap like Joy's pulse during Marc's 'art lesson,' deep blacks suck you into Parisian shadows deeper than her daddy void. You're not buying paper; you're claiming a slab of 80s erotic history, reprinted from Yugoslavian originals with pixel-perfect fidelity to Claudia Udy's sultry stare.
Shipping? Obsessives rejoice: A4 and A3 arrive flat as Joy's initial innocence, in reinforced envelopes that crush curls and creases. No sad rolls mocking your mailbox. A2 and A1? Gently tube-rolled in heavy-duty armor, emerging pristine for instant framing. All sizes ready-to-rock: unroll, flatten, frame, flaunt. We ship worldwide, tracked like Marc stalks Joy, arriving in 5-10 days (US/EU) or 10-20 elsewhere. Eco-packaging, no plastic waste; just protective perfection.
Geek specs: 240 g/m² gloss sheen rivals gallery prints, UV-resistant inks defy time-warps, cut edges laser-sharp. Colors calibrated for sRGB pop: Joy's lips crimson-fire, backgrounds moody mist. Matte option? Nah, gloss amps the wet-dream vibe. Frame-ready hems, no sloppy borders. Collector's holy grail for Bergonzelli buffs; pair with Severin DVD for ultimate shrine. This ain't mass-market; it's limited-run love letter to cult sleaze. Shipping insurance covers oopsies; we replace free if transit tantrums. Own the print that outlives trends, built for basements, bars, or boudoirs. Stop lusting; spec-out and ship home your slice of Joy forever.
🎞️ Framing the Genius: Joy (1983)’s Visual Legacy
Sergio Bergonzelli's Joy (1983) is a visual feast of 80s eroticism, where cinematography weaponizes soft-focus to blur lines between art and arousal. Opening like a horror flick, shadows creep through modern galleries, color theory heavy on cool blues that thaw into feverish pinks as Joy (Claudia Udy) surrenders to Marc's (Gérard Antoine Huart) gallery gambit. Visual language? Pure seduction: lingering close-ups on quivering lips, wide shots of Paris boulevards framing fleshy escapades like living postcards.
Art direction nails 80s kitsch: opulent lofts dripping velvet and chrome, museum pieces doubling as foreplay props. Iconic imagery? Joy's first 'passionate' stare-down with that abstract painting, Marc's silhouette looming paternal-pervy. Colors pulse: reds explode in threesome trysts, golds gild companion romps with Agnès Torrent's crew. Bergonzelli's lens dances handheld through Paris nights, capturing rain-slick streets that mirror Joy's slippery morals.
Legacy? This poster's core image distills it: Udy's eyes promising daddy-drenched delight, composition balanced like Marc's twisted affections. Deep blacks in backgrounds evoke psychological voids, vibrant hues hype the hype. Critics praise the pivot from thriller tension to erotic excess, every frame a masterclass in implication over explicit. No cheap zooms; elegant pans track Joy's fall, art direction layering symbols (missing dad portraits haunting hookups). This visual style birthed Euro-sleaze icons, influencing modern retro-fests. Hanging this poster? You're curating Bergonzelli's genius: color-coded chaos, iconic gazes that hook forever.
👀 Did You Know ? 🤯 Fun facts about Joy (1983)
Joy (1983) trivia bombshell: Claudia Udy, fresh off horror flicks, dove into this erotic odyssey as associate producers Robert Lantos and Stephen J. Roth bankrolled the 110-minute mind-melt. Directed by Sergio Bergonzelli (billed as Serge Bergon), it printed posters in Yugoslavia, smuggling Euro-sleaze east. Fun fact: Joy's art-museum meet-cute? Inspired real 80s gallery hookups, with Udy nailing the 'impressed by BS interpretation' gaze in one take.
Cast secrets: Gérard Antoine Huart's Marc was no actor; a French model roped in for his silver-fox vibe, sparking on-set chemistry that amped the 'passionate love' scenes. Agnès Torrent and Elisabeth Mortensen? Euro-vixens adding threesome thunder, with Torrent ad-libbing French whispers that Bergonzelli kept for authenticity. Production buzz: Shot guerrilla-style in Paris lofts, dodging censors by framing sex as 'emotional exploration.' Udy's interview in Severin's 2010 DVD spills: she chased the role for its daddy-drama depth, laughing at the horror opening that fooled test audiences.
Current hype? Letterboxd logs explode with 80s nostalgia, users memeing Joy's father quest as peak Oedipal kink. Offscreen hails it a 'special feature' cult pick, with buzz reviving via retro fests. Did you know the musician boyfriend subplot? Jeffrey Kime's axe-strummer ditched for Marc's maturity, mirroring real 80s rocker flops. Bergonzelli's trick: horror lighting in early acts, flipping to neon glow for romps. Yugoslavian poster? Rare collector gold, our reprint the accessible holy grail. Cast reunion whispers? Udy teases podcasts, fueling 2026 revival talk. Manuel Gélin cameos as shady elder, tying family threads. Production hacked: no-body-doubles, raw commitment making it endure. Own the poster; own the lore.

Before you panic… welcome to our FAQ 👋 (Yes, we see you, Sherlock) Before going full John Wick on your keyboard, we’ve gathered the answers to the most common questions right here. Grab some Popcorn, your answer is probably just below 👇
Shipping & Returns
Shipping times, tracking, returns… everything you need to know before confirming your order like Neo choosing the red pill.
📦 Where do you ship ?
We don’t ship to Hawkins, Tatooine, or Westeros, but good news: we ship worldwide, including all across Europe, the UK, the United States, Canada, Japan, Australia, and many other destinations.
🎬 Quick movie reference: In Cast Away, Tom Hanks survives on a deserted island thanks to a lost FedEx package.
Iconic scene… but definitely not the delivery experience we want for your Joy (1983) poster 😅
👉 That’s exactly why we work with our trusted partner UPS® to make sure your package doesn’t end up lost in the middle of nowhere with only a volleyball for company.
📦 With UPS®, we offer:
- Standard or Express delivery
- Home delivery or UPS® Access Point (relay pickup)
💰 Shipping rates:
- €4.95 standard shipping
- Free shipping on orders over €50 with UPS® Access Point delivery
📍 The UPS® pickup point selection is made after payment.
⚠️ Please make sure to enter a valid email address and phone number, they’re essential for real-time tracking updates and delivery notifications.
Bottom line: at Popcorn Poster, your package arrives safely at your door, not on a deserted beach with “HELP” written in the sand.
⏱️ How long does delivery take ?
Great question and don’t worry, the answer won’t last as long as Titanic.
📦 All orders leave our warehouses within 24 hours after being placed. No waiting around like Tom Hanks in The Terminal.
🚚 Two delivery options with our partner UPS®:
- Express delivery: 24–48 hours, depending on the destination country ( Faster than The Flash, no super suit required )
- Standard delivery: around 1-6 business days ( Perfect if you’re not in a rush like Frodo heading to Mordor )
📍 All shipments are fully tracked in real time.
⚠️ Make sure to enter a valid email address and phone number at checkout — they’re essential to receive UPS® tracking updates at every step of the journey.
🌧️ Real-world disclaimer : Occasional delays can happen due to weather conditions, high shipping volumes or unexpected events. No need to panic, we usually start investigating after 7 business days (excluding weekends).
🚀 Why UPS®?
Because it’s simply the fastest international carrier, with one of the best delivery services in the world. We’d rather invest in reliability than turn your delivery into a Mission: Impossible scenario.
💸 We cover a large part of the shipping costs, because our goal is simple: to offer you the best delivery service possible, wherever you are in the world, no compromises.
Bottom line: your poster arrives fast, fully tracked, and without any Indiana Jones level adventures.
📍 Can I track my order ?
Yes. And not just “kind of” 😌 As soon as your order leaves our warehouse, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with a UPS® tracking link.
📦 With UPS®, you can track your poster in real time, step by step, almost like Nick Fury monitoring his agents.
📲 For tracking to work perfectly, it’s very important to double-check all your details before placing your order:
- ✅ Complete and correct delivery address (This happens every day: missing house number, wrong country selected, incomplete street name…)
- ✅ Valid and accessible email address
- ✅ Correct phone number
🎬 Let’s be honest:
All we want is for your package with your awesome new poster to arrive as fast as possible, and in perfect condition.
A quick check now saves you from needing a Back to the Future-style time travel to fix a wrong address.
📧 One more important thing about email:
Please don’t use a throwaway or inaccessible email address. We won’t spam you (we’re not Skynet), but:
- UPS® pickup codes are sent by email
- Delivery notifications too
Without access to your inbox, there’s unfortunately nothing we can do, and your package may vanish forever, like a lost VHS tape from the 90s.
🎥 In short:
You know where your package is, when it arrives, and how to collect it, no need to play Sherlock Holmes or watch the street like Walter White behind the curtains.
🔄 What if I want to return my poster ?
We get it, even Citizen Kane didn’t please everyone.
🎨 Custom posters
Custom posters are non-returnable and non-refundable. They’re printed specifically for you, like a James Bond–tailored suit: once it’s made, it’s yours.
📦 Non-custom posters
For non-custom posters, please refer to our detailed return policy at the bottom of the page, under “Delivery Issues”. This section clearly explains return, refund, and resolution conditions.
🚚 Delivery issues (delay, lost or damaged package) If:
- Your order hasn’t arrived within the estimated timeframe
- Your package is lost
- Your poster arrives damaged
👉 contact us at hello@popcornposter.com. We’ll immediately work with the carrier (UPS®) to resolve the issue.
📅 Please note:
The carrier has a formal process and timeline to declare a package as lost, 15 days after the estimated delivery date. Before that, the package is officially still “in transit”.
⏳ Delivery delays & right to a refund
The right to a refund for delivery delays only applies if the delay is not caused by force majeure or circumstances beyond the seller’s control (weather conditions, strikes, exceptional events, etc.).
According to European Directive 2011/83/EU:
- If no fixed delivery time is specified (only an estimate),
- The seller must deliver the order within a reasonable timeframe, typically up to 30 days from the order confirmation
If this timeframe is exceeded, the seller is granted an additional one-week period to complete the delivery.
🎬 In short:
We never leave customers without support, but we also believe in solving things calmly, without a failed-season-finale level of drama.
Orders & Payments
Orders, payments & behind-the-scenes details (The part people skip… but shouldn’t)
💳 What payment methods do you accept ?
We keep it simple and secure 🔒
We accept:
- Credit & debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
- PayPal
- Apple Pay
- Google Pay
All payments are 100% secure. Even Bruce Wayne would approve this checkout.
✏️ Can I change or cancel my order ?
Yes… and we’ve even built in a little flexibility 😌
👉 After payment, you have a 30-minute window to contact us if you’d like to:
- Change the poster size
- Switch the frame color
- Upgrade from unframed to framed
Because sometimes you realize after checkout that the black frame would look way better and that’s totally fine.
⏱️ After this 30-minute window, your order enters production. At that point, changes are no longer possible, kind of like trying to rewrite a movie after the end credits.
🖼️ Good to know about delivery:
- Framed posters arrive fully framed, ready to hang
- Unframed posters are carefully protected in a plastic protective film
- A4 and A3 unframed posters are shipped flat, not rolled, to prevent any deformation and ensure a perfect finish right out of the package
Our goal is simple:
to make sure your poster arrives fast, well-protected, and exactly how you imagined it, no bad surprises.
🧾 Will I receive an order confirmation and invoice ?
Absolutely 😌
After placing your order, you’ll receive:
- An order confirmation email
- An invoice with all details
If you don’t see it, check your spam folder (sometimes emails disappear like mail at Hogwarts).
Need a custom invoice? Just contact us.
💥 My order arrived damaged, what should I do ?
First: breathe 😌
Yes, it can happen. Even with the best carrier in the world, a delivery driver can have a bad day, be in a rush, or your package can go through a real adventure during transit.
👉 The good news:
Since working with UPS®, damaged packages are very rare.
Trust us… you don’t want to know how many emails we used to get with our previous carriers 😅
That problem is now solved thanks to:
- Stronger protection
- Better packaging
- Much more reliable delivery
But let’s be real :
Packages travel for several days. They can fall, be stacked, sometimes crushed… Honestly, we should put a GoPro inside a package to see what it goes through 🎥📦
🚚 When we hand packages over to UPS®, everything is perfect :
Paolo, our UPS® driver, comes by every day with a smile, packages leave well protected and damage-free. After that… they go on their journey.
👉 If you’re part of the 1% of cases where a package arrives damaged :
It’s not a big deal. it’s annoying (we agree), and trust me:
👉 if I ordered something and received it damaged, I’d be annoyed too.
Here’s what to do calmly 👇
- Take a photo of the package
- Take a photo of the poster
- Email us at hello@popcornposter.com
(with your order number, ex. #1001)
📩 Important - Customer support :
Our customer service is handled exclusively by email.
🙅♂️ Not via Instagram
🙅♂️ Not via TikTok
🙅♂️ And unfortunately… not by owls either ⚡🦉
Why ? Because email allows us to :
- Properly track your case
- Keep all information in one place
- Respond quickly and efficiently
📬 Marion checks emails every single day and replies to everyone.
If we have all the required info, within 24 hours, we’ll find a solution together, fast, and one that works for you.
🙏 Friendly advice :
- Please avoid ALL CAPS emails
- Avoid aggressive or entitled tones
Otherwise Marion gets angry… and I have to deal with her being angry all day 😡😅
Nobody wins.
If Marion solved your issue (and trust us, she really solves them all), please consider leaving a Trustpilot review mentioning her name: Marion isn’t ChatGPT, she reads every review, and she’ll absolutely love seeing her name mentioned with positive feedback 👀😇
🎬 Bottom line :
We ship dozens of packages every day, we do everything we can to make sure everything arrives perfectly, and when something goes wrong, we own it and fix it.
Simple, human, efficient. 🫶
❓ I haven’t received my order, what should I do?
First things first, something very important 👇 (No panic, this isn’t an episode of Lost.)
👉 Make sure you entered complete and accurate contact details when placing your order:
- Correct delivery address
- Valid email address
- Phone number
Without this information, even the best carrier in the world can’t work miracles.
📦 All orders are tracked via UPS®, and the tracking is (truly) extremely precise.
🎬 A quick look at your package’s journey:
- As soon as we create your shipping label and attach it to the package → Bam, email
- Every day around 12 PM, Paolo, our awesome UPS® driver, comes by to collect the parcels
- Before your package even enters his super truck, Paolo scans each parcel one by one → Bam, email
- When he drops your package at the UPS® logistics hub for proper routing → Quick scan, Bam email
👉 Result: you receive an email at every single movement of your package. Your poster is tracked more closely than a main character in a TV series.
🖨️ Important note for custom posters:
Custom posters may require up to 24 additional hours of processing, depending on demand. Why ?
Because this one isn’t in stock, we create it ourselves, specifically for you. Nothing to worry about, it may just take a little longer, and that’s completely normal.
⏳ Now, real-world shipping reality :
Delays can happen (weather conditions, logistics issues, unexpected events). It’s not common, but it happens.
👉 We only really start worrying after 7 business days (excluding weekends).
If that timeframe is exceeded, contact us and we’ll immediately open an investigation with UPS®.
🎬 Bottom line:
We never leave a customer without a solution, but we also avoid jumping to conclusions like a Netflix thriller after 10 minutes.
If you’re really worried about where your order might be hiding, send us an email at hello@popcornposter.com and Marion will take care of the investigation with Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Machine 🕵️♂️🚐🍿
About Our Products
This is where we answer all the questions your brain asks while staring at a poster thinking : “Okay… but is it really that cool in real life?” Spoiler: it is.
🍿 What kind of posters do you sell ?
At Popcorn Poster, we don’t do “a bit of home decor.” We do cinema. A lot of cinema. Probably too much cinema. 🎬🍿
More specifically, our catalog includes thousands of movie and TV series posters, in multiple languages, sourced from cinemas all around the world.
Yes ! we’re talking about one of the largest movie poster catalogs in the world. And no, we’re not just saying that for fun (okay… maybe a little).
You’ll find posters from:
- 🎥 cult movies you can quote by heart
- 🏛️ timeless classics you deeply respect
- 🚀 recent films that blew your mind
- 📺 iconic TV series you binge-watched “just one episode”… until sunrise
And most importantly : 👉 in multiple languages, because cinema has never spoken just one.
🎞️ Where do our posters come from?
Our posters can be:
- Original cinema posters, used in theaters around the world
- Or high-quality reprints, when the original isn’t available in the size you choose
Either way, we’re obsessive about quality, so the final result looks amazing on your wall, not just accurate on paper.
🎬 What if I can’t find the movie or series of my dreams?
That’s exactly why we created CHOOSE YOUR MOVIE 🕶️ If you can’t find what you’re looking for :
- Simply type the movie or TV show name
- Choose the size
- And we take care of the rest
👉 No endless searching
👉 No comparing random websites
👉 No DIY headaches
You choose.
We print.
You receive your poster.
🎥 In short:
Popcorn Poster means:
- A massive catalog
- Worldwide cinema
- Thousands of references
- And the certainty that even if you don’t see it right away…
👉 your movie exists here.
🖨️ Is the print quality actually that good ?
Let’s be honest right from the start :
👉 these are probably the worst posters of all time. Blurry, poorly printed, dull colors… Basically, the kind of quality you’d expect from a movie filmed on a phone in the back row of a cinema in 2004.
…
Okay, obviously not 😄 If that were true, we’d be selling bootleg DVDs in a parking lot.
🎬 Let’s get serious (but not too serious)
Our posters are designed to last, not just look good in an Instagram story.
🖨️ For reprinted posters (when the original isn’t available in your chosen size) :
- We use eco-friendly, long-lasting, high-quality inks
- Resistant to time and light
- To avoid the “yellowing poster after a few months” effect
📄 The paper:
- 240g museum-grade paper
- Thick, premium feel
- Elegant matte finish
Definitely not thin paper that wrinkles if you breathe near it.
🖼️ The frames:
- Made of aluminum
- Lightweight once on the wall
- Won’t warp
- Won’t lose color over time
- Impressive lifespan
The kind of frame you hang, forget about, and still looks perfect years later.
🎞️ One important (and honest) thing to know
As you might expect :
👉 The older the movie, the more the print quality depends on the original source.
A movie poster from the 1970s:
- Won’t always look ultra-sharp 4K
- And that’s completely normal
It’s like watching The Godfather: Not Dolby Vision 2025, but that’s exactly part of its charm.
🎬 Bottom line:
Our posters are:
- Carefully printed
- Made with premium materials
- Designed to last
- And respectful of cinema history
Not a tired VHS, not fake overhyped 4K, but an honest, cinematic result, as it should be.
🖼️ Are the frames high quality ?
Let’s start with the truth: 👉 of course not.
We love wasting time, money, and energy selling terrible frames.
…
Okay, obviously no 😄 If that were the case, we’d do what everyone else does: cheap, fragile frames and “good luck assembling it yourself.”
🎬 A true story
At first, we used wooden frames. On paper, they looked nice. In real life? Not so much.
👉 Once on the wall, they warped over time.
👉 And during shipping… they could literally break apart.
So we made a simple decision:
🛑 stop using wood
✅ switch to aluminum
🖼️ Why aluminum?
Because:
- It’s lightweight (no Final Destination moment for your wall)
- It doesn’t warp
- It doesn’t yellow
- It keeps its color for years
- And has an impressive lifespan
🎬 In short:
frames built to last longer than most movie trilogies.
🛠️ And most importantly… no IKEA-style assembly
When you order a framed poster from Popcorn Poster,
👉 it arrives already framed, ready to hang.
Not like:
- Some poster sellers
- Or an IKEA piece you assemble on a Sunday night with one screw left over
We do the work for you.
🎨 What we actually do (and yes, it takes time)
- We select the frame (black, chrome, white…)
- Carefully place the poster inside
- Make sure no dust or hair sneaks in
- Wrap everything in our protective sleeves
- Place it in strong packaging
- And off it goes 🚚🍿
✨ The finish
Our frames have:
