📏 Size Guide & Finishes
🎞️ Size Guide: Pick Your "Blockbuster" Format
Whether you’re decorating a cozy "indie movie" studio or an IMAX-sized living room, we’ve got the perfect aspect ratio for your walls.
⚪ A4 : 21 x 29.7 cm (8.3 x 11.7 in) The "Grogu" Format. Small, cute, but packs a serious Force. Perfect for building a "Wall of Fame" in tight spaces.
⚪ A3 : 29.7 x 42 cm (11.7 x 16.5 in) The "Multiverse" Format. Not too big, not too small. Perfectly balanced, as Thanos would say (but without snapping half your decor away).
⚪ A2 : 42 x 59.4 cm (16.5 x 23.4 in) The "Heisenberg" Format. Now we’re cooking. This size doesn't just sit there; it’s the one who knocks on your living room door.
⚪ A1 : 59.4 x 84.1 cm (23.4 x 33.1 in) The "King Kong" Format. The Final Boss. A poster so massive it could probably stop a White Walker invasion. Go Big or Go Home.
🖼️ Finishes & Frames
Choose your art Raw (Unframed) or Upgraded in our premium aluminum armor :
- Black Aluminum: The "Dark Knight" Style. Sleek, matte, and elegant. It’s the James Bond tuxedo for your poster. A timeless classic.
- Chrome Aluminum: The "Stark Tech" Style. Polished, shiny, and futuristic. For that high-end Cyberpunk gallery vibe.
📦 Shipping & Handling
We treat your posters with more respect than John Wick treats his dog. Guaranteed no "spoilers" (or creases) upon arrival !
- A4 & A3 (Unframed): These travel flat in heavy-duty reinforced armor. More bulletproof than the A-Team van.
- A2 & A1 (Unframed): Carefully rolled in protective tissue paper and tucked into extra-strong tubes. They arrive ready to be unrolled like a Red Carpet at Cannes.
- Framed Posters (All Sizes): Maximum protection. We use specialized shock-resistant boxes and reinforced corners. Even a Fast & Furious car chase wouldn't scratch them.
🤓 The "Fine Print" (Post-Credits Scene)
Before you hit "Play" on your order, here’s a little legal fan-fiction to keep things smooth :
⚪ Visual FX vs. Reality : Just like a CGI trailer, our photos are not contractual. Colors might vary slightly in print- think of it as a "Variant" in the Multiverse.
⚪ The "Popcorn" Incident : While our name is Popcorn Poster, the actual popcorn seen in the photos is just for show. It’s not included. If we shipped real popcorn, it would be as stale as a 20-year-old VHS tape by the time it reached you.
⚪ Lights, Camera... No Action : The lighting bar featured above our frames in the photos is for dramatic effect only. It’s not part of the package. You’ll have to bring your own "Stark Industries" tech to light up your walls!
⚪ The Fan Statement : We have no official affiliation with the brands, studios, or caped crusaders featured in our designs. We’re just enthusiasts -like Peter Parker with his camera - aiming to help culture flourish.
⚪ Copyright Protocol : If any brand or "Supreme Leader" prefers not to be highlighted in our gallery, please reach out to us at hello@popcornposter.com. We’ll remove it faster than a glitch in the Matrix.

🎬 Why this Ed Wood (1994) Poster is the Real Deal ? 🤩
The Ed Wood Poster That Changed Everything
Tim Burton's 1994 masterpiece 'Ed Wood' has undergone a remarkable critical resurrection. What once flew under most people's radar is now recognized as Burton's most complete standalone film-a black-and-white love letter to a filmmaker so famously bad that he became legendary. This poster captures that entire paradox in one image.
Why Critics Are Obsessed
Burton took the true story of Edward D. Wood Jr., the director infamously crowned the 'worst director of all time,' and transformed it into something unexpectedly profound. The film examines the collision between delusion and reality, ambition and failure, fantasy and the brutal Hollywood system. Every frame drips with intentional artifice-from the obviously fake Hollywood model in the opening shot to the intentionally stagey production design that blurs the line between reality and cinematic fiction. The Visual Language
Shot entirely in black and white, the film becomes a visual meditation on 1950s cinema. Cinematographer Stefan Czapsky's work achieves something rare: it's simultaneously a tribute to and commentary on Golden Age Hollywood. The blacks are deep, the grays nuanced, and every shadow tells a story. This poster preserves that aesthetic perfectly-it IS the movie distilled into one frame. The Cast Chemistry
Johnny Depp's performance as the relentlessly optimistic Wood operates in a space between caricature and genuine character study. He channels the kind of misplaced American dream confidence that's simultaneously hilarious and tragic. But it's Martin Landau's Oscar-winning performance as Bela Lugosi that elevates everything-a faded star clinging to past glory, embodying every tragedy of Hollywood's disposal machine. This poster preserves their dynamic in visual form. Why This Matters Now
In 2026, as streaming platforms churn out endless content, Ed Wood stands as a monument to obsessive filmmaking. The poster reminds you: sometimes the 'worst' directors have the most passion. Sometimes failure is more interesting than success. Sometimes black and white tells the story better than color ever could. Own this poster and own a piece of cinema history that's only grown in stature.🍿 Why you need a Ed Wood (1994) poster on your wall ? 🤔
This Poster Proves You Saw It First
Let's be real: owning an Ed Wood poster means you're not following trends-you're ahead of them. While everyone else's walls scream mainstream, yours whispers something deeper. You get the reference. You understand that sometimes the 'worst' is actually the best. This is the poster that separates the film geeks from the casual scrollers.
The Conversation Starter
Every person who visits your space will ask about it. 'Ed Wood? The bad director guy?' Yes. But also no. You'll spend the next twenty minutes explaining why Tim Burton made a perfect film about imperfection, why Johnny Depp's earnest enthusiasm is tragic, and why Martin Landau's performance will haunt them. Your wall becomes a movie recommendation without saying a word.Black and White Sophistication
There's something timeless about black and white cinematography that color can't replicate. This poster doesn't shout. It whispers. It's elegant without being pretentious, classic without being boring. It proves you appreciate visual language-you understand that limitation breeds creativity. The absence of color makes every shadow, every expression, every moment matter more.A Piece of Tim Burton's Peak
This is Burton at his absolute finest-before the caricature set in, before the self-parody. This is when he and Johnny Depp found the perfect vehicle for their respective talents. Owning this poster means you recognize quality at its source, not years after the hype cycle. The Investment
This isn't a disposable poster you'll replace next year. Premium 240 g/m² glossy paper, museum-quality archival standards, vibrant blacks that never fade. This poster becomes part of your collection, part of your identity as someone who actually cares about cinema. Your wall transforms into a gallery that says: 'I don't just watch movies. I understand them.'📼 Stop Scrolling 🤚 Own the Ed Wood (1994) Collector's Print: Geeky Specs & Shipping
Museum-Grade Specifications
This isn't standard poster paper. We're talking 240 g/m² heavyweight premium glossy stock-the kind used in gallery exhibitions, not dorm rooms. Every color component receives the full treatment. Blacks go deeper than Bela Lugosi's bitterness. Grays carry the weight they deserve. The glossy finish catches light like cinema itself, creating depth that matte paper simply can't achieve. You're not just buying a poster; you're acquiring a piece of Ed Wood (1994) history preserved in archival-quality materials that resist fading, moisture, and the ravages of time.
Shipping Protection That Actually Works
We get it-you're nervous about your poster arriving curled, creased, or damaged. That's where we don't mess around. A4 and A3 formats arrive perfectly flat in reinforced protective packaging. No rolling, no curling, no 'fingers crossed' situations. You open the box and it's pristine, ready to frame immediately.
For the larger A2 and A1 formats, we abandon the flat approach and go tactical: heavy-duty protective tubes engineered to prevent any bending during transit. Your poster rolls safely, arrives safely, unrolls without damage. These tubes are what museums use. This is how professionals protect irreplaceable prints.
Ready to Frame Instantly
No waiting. No stretching. No mounting nightmares. Your poster arrives in condition so pristine it's ready for aluminum framing the moment you unbox it. The paper quality means it cooperates with framers instead of fighting them. Museums and galleries choose this exact paper stock because it performs. So will you.
Formats for Every Wall
A4 (210 x 297mm) for tight spaces where impact matters more than size. A3 (297 x 420mm) for serious collectors who want presence without going massive. A2 (420 x 594mm) for statement pieces that dominate your wall. A1 (594 x 841mm) for people who are fully committed to their Ed Wood fandom. Every format maintains the same visual integrity, the same color saturation, the same archival quality. Pick the size that matches your confidence level.
🎞️ Framing the Genius: Ed Wood (1994)'s Visual Legacy
The Art of Black and White Cinematography
Ed Wood shoots in black and white not as limitation but as choice-a radical statement in 1994 when color was the default. Cinematographer Stefan Czapsky understood something fundamental: black and white forces every other element to work harder. There's no color palette to hide behind, no saturation to compensate for weak composition. Every shadow becomes a design choice. Every gradient carries meaning.
Visual Language and Production Design
The film exists in deliberate artifice. Real locations get shot to look like sets. The opening tracking shot moves across an obviously fake Hollywood model-you're supposed to notice it's fake. This blur between reality and fantasy becomes the film's entire visual argument. Wood lived in delusion; Burton renders delusion as visual poetry. The Brown Derby restaurant, the street scenes, every environment treads the line between authenticity and theatrical staging. It's the visual equivalent of Ed Wood's own filmmaking philosophy: earnestness meets artificiality, and somehow it works.
Shadow and Light as Character
The black-and-white palette transforms shadow into a character itself. Bela Lugosi's scenes are drenched in noir-influenced darkness that mirrors his tragic descent. Wood's scenes carry lighter, more theatrical lighting that reflects his relentless optimism. The cinematography doesn't just show you the story; it comments on it. Deep blacks represent the crushing reality of Hollywood's treatment of has-beens. Brighter sequences capture Wood's almost delusional faith in his own vision.
Color Theory Through Absence
By removing color, the film amplifies texture. You notice fabric, skin tone gradations, the grain of materials. The glossy surfaces of this poster preserve those textures perfectly. What cinematographers call 'color separation' happens through tonal differentiation instead. Your eye works harder. Your brain engages deeper. The visual language demands active viewing rather than passive consumption. This is sophisticated filmmaking dressed in B-movie clothing.
👀 Did You Know ? 🤯 Fun facts about Ed Wood (1994)
Martin Landau's Oscar-Winning Transformation
Martin Landau's performance as Bela Lugosi wasn't just acting-it was a complete physical and emotional transformation. With minimal prosthetics, Landau captured the tragedy of a once-great actor reduced to bit parts and obscurity. The role won him the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor, and every frame of this poster carries that tragic weight. Landau studied Lugosi's mannerisms obsessively, his posture, his world-weariness. He brought layers that elevated every scene he touched, stealing the film from the supposed lead in a way that perfectly mirrors how Lugosi's presence dominated every scene he appeared in.
Johnny Depp's Method Approach
Depp didn't just play Ed Wood-he inhabited him. He adopted the slight lisp caused by Wood's dentures, a detail so specific and unnecessary that it demonstrates pure commitment to character. His performance as the relentlessly optimistic, utterly delusional director became a blueprint for how to portray failure without contempt. You laugh at Wood's decisions but never at Wood himself. That tonal balance required incredible precision from Depp, operating in the space between caricature and genuine tragedy.
The Black and White Decision
Shooting entirely in black and white in 1994 was a bold choice. Studios questioned it. Audiences weren't expecting it. But Burton understood that color would betray the film's purpose-it would make everything look too contemporary, too clean. Black and white grounds the film in the era it depicts, creating a visual authenticity that color stock simply cannot achieve. The decision proved correct: the film looks timeless because it existed outside the color palette limitations of actual 1950s cinema.
Tim Burton's Parallel to Ed Wood
Watch this film and you understand Burton's entire career thesis: the value of embracing the unconventional, surrounding yourself with eccentric collaborators, and refusing to follow mainstream formulas. Burton has essentially been making Ed Wood for decades-rendering 'less than mainstream ideas in mainstream media' with obsessive precision. The film becomes a mirror reflecting Burton's own filmmaking philosophy. He didn't just make a movie about Wood; he made a statement about why Wood matters.
The Ensemble Cast as Recurring Players
Bill Murray as John 'Bunny' Breckinridge, George 'The Animal' Steele as wrestler-turned-actor Tor Johnson, Jeffrey Jones as the TV psychic Criswell-Burton assembled a cast of eccentrics and recurring collaborators that would become his signature approach. This poster captures that ensemble energy, that feeling of a repertory company of misfits creating magic through collaboration. It's an approach that continues throughout Burton's entire filmography.

🔄 What if I want to return my poster ?

🎨 Custom posters
Custom posters are non-returnable and non-refundable. They’re printed specifically for you, like a James Bond–tailored suit: once it’s made, it’s yours.
📦 Non-custom posters
For non-custom posters, please refer to our detailed return policy at the bottom of the page, under “Delivery Issues”. This section clearly explains return, refund, and resolution conditions.
🚚 Delivery issues (delay, lost or damaged package) If:
- Your order hasn’t arrived within the estimated timeframe
- Your package is lost
- Your poster arrives damaged
👉 contact us at hello@popcornposter.com. We’ll immediately work with the carrier (UPS®) to resolve the issue.
📅 Please note:
The carrier has a formal process and timeline to declare a package as lost, 15 days after the estimated delivery date. Before that, the package is officially still “in transit”.
⏳ Delivery delays & right to a refund
The right to a refund for delivery delays only applies if the delay is not caused by force majeure or circumstances beyond the seller’s control (weather conditions, strikes, exceptional events, etc.).
According to European Directive 2011/83/EU:
- If no fixed delivery time is specified (only an estimate),
- The seller must deliver the order within a reasonable timeframe, typically up to 30 days from the order confirmation
If this timeframe is exceeded, the seller is granted an additional one-week period to complete the delivery.
🎬 In short:
We never leave customers without support, but we also believe in solving things calmly, without a failed-season-finale level of drama.
Orders & Payments
Orders, payments & behind-the-scenes details (The part people skip… but shouldn’t)
💳 What payment methods do you accept ?
We keep it simple and secure 🔒
We accept:
- Credit & debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
- PayPal
- Apple Pay
- Google Pay
All payments are 100% secure. Even Bruce Wayne would approve this checkout.
✏️ Can I change or cancel my order ?
Yes… and we’ve even built in a little flexibility 😌
👉 After payment, you have a 30-minute window to contact us if you’d like to:
- Change the poster size
- Switch the frame color
- Upgrade from unframed to framed
Because sometimes you realize after checkout that the black frame would look way better and that’s totally fine.
⏱️ After this 30-minute window, your order enters production. At that point, changes are no longer possible, kind of like trying to rewrite a movie after the end credits.
🖼️ Good to know about delivery:
- Framed posters arrive fully framed, ready to hang
- Unframed posters are carefully protected in a plastic protective film
- A4 and A3 unframed posters are shipped flat, not rolled, to prevent any deformation and ensure a perfect finish right out of the package
Our goal is simple:
to make sure your poster arrives fast, well-protected, and exactly how you imagined it, no bad surprises.
🧾 Will I receive an order confirmation and invoice ?
Absolutely 😌
After placing your order, you’ll receive:
- An order confirmation email
- An invoice with all details
If you don’t see it, check your spam folder (sometimes emails disappear like mail at Hogwarts).
Need a custom invoice? Just contact us.
💥 My order arrived damaged, what should I do ?
First: breathe 😌
Yes, it can happen. Even with the best carrier in the world, a delivery driver can have a bad day, be in a rush, or your package can go through a real adventure during transit.
👉 The good news:
Since working with UPS®, damaged packages are very rare.
Trust us… you don’t want to know how many emails we used to get with our previous carriers 😅
That problem is now solved thanks to:
- Stronger protection
- Better packaging
- Much more reliable delivery
But let’s be real :
Packages travel for several days. They can fall, be stacked, sometimes crushed… Honestly, we should put a GoPro inside a package to see what it goes through 🎥📦
🚚 When we hand packages over to UPS®, everything is perfect :
Paolo, our UPS® driver, comes by every day with a smile, packages leave well protected and damage-free. After that… they go on their journey.
👉 If you’re part of the 1% of cases where a package arrives damaged :
It’s not a big deal. it’s annoying (we agree), and trust me:
👉 if I ordered something and received it damaged, I’d be annoyed too.
Here’s what to do calmly 👇
- Take a photo of the package
- Take a photo of the poster
- Email us at hello@popcornposter.com
(with your order number, ex. #1001)
📩 Important - Customer support :
Our customer service is handled exclusively by email.
🙅♂️ Not via Instagram
🙅♂️ Not via TikTok
🙅♂️ And unfortunately… not by owls either ⚡🦉
Why ? Because email allows us to :
- Properly track your case
- Keep all information in one place
- Respond quickly and efficiently
📬 Marion checks emails every single day and replies to everyone.
If we have all the required info, within 24 hours, we’ll find a solution together, fast, and one that works for you.
🙏 Friendly advice :
- Please avoid ALL CAPS emails
- Avoid aggressive or entitled tones
Otherwise Marion gets angry… and I have to deal with her being angry all day 😡😅
Nobody wins.
If Marion solved your issue (and trust us, she really solves them all), please consider leaving a Trustpilot review mentioning her name: Marion isn’t ChatGPT, she reads every review, and she’ll absolutely love seeing her name mentioned with positive feedback 👀😇
🎬 Bottom line :
We ship dozens of packages every day, we do everything we can to make sure everything arrives perfectly, and when something goes wrong, we own it and fix it.
Simple, human, efficient. 🫶
❓ I haven’t received my order, what should I do?
First things first, something very important 👇 (No panic, this isn’t an episode of Lost.)
👉 Make sure you entered complete and accurate contact details when placing your order:
- Correct delivery address
- Valid email address
- Phone number
Without this information, even the best carrier in the world can’t work miracles.
📦 All orders are tracked via UPS®, and the tracking is (truly) extremely precise.
🎬 A quick look at your package’s journey:
- As soon as we create your shipping label and attach it to the package → Bam, email
- Every day around 12 PM, Paolo, our awesome UPS® driver, comes by to collect the parcels
- Before your package even enters his super truck, Paolo scans each parcel one by one → Bam, email
- When he drops your package at the UPS® logistics hub for proper routing → Quick scan, Bam email
👉 Result: you receive an email at every single movement of your package. Your poster is tracked more closely than a main character in a TV series.
🖨️ Important note for custom posters:
Custom posters may require up to 24 additional hours of processing, depending on demand. Why ?
Because this one isn’t in stock, we create it ourselves, specifically for you. Nothing to worry about, it may just take a little longer, and that’s completely normal.
⏳ Now, real-world shipping reality :
Delays can happen (weather conditions, logistics issues, unexpected events). It’s not common, but it happens.
👉 We only really start worrying after 7 business days (excluding weekends).
If that timeframe is exceeded, contact us and we’ll immediately open an investigation with UPS®.
🎬 Bottom line:
We never leave a customer without a solution, but we also avoid jumping to conclusions like a Netflix thriller after 10 minutes.
If you’re really worried about where your order might be hiding, send us an email at hello@popcornposter.com and Marion will take care of the investigation with Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Machine 🕵️♂️🚐🍿
About Our Products
This is where we answer all the questions your brain asks while staring at a poster thinking : “Okay… but is it really that cool in real life?” Spoiler: it is.
🍿 What kind of posters do you sell ?
At Popcorn Poster, we don’t do “a bit of home decor.” We do cinema. A lot of cinema. Probably too much cinema. 🎬🍿
More specifically, our catalog includes thousands of movie and TV series posters, in multiple languages, sourced from cinemas all around the world.
Yes ! we’re talking about one of the largest movie poster catalogs in the world. And no, we’re not just saying that for fun (okay… maybe a little).
You’ll find posters from:
- 🎥 cult movies you can quote by heart
- 🏛️ timeless classics you deeply respect
- 🚀 recent films that blew your mind
- 📺 iconic TV series you binge-watched “just one episode”… until sunrise
And most importantly : 👉 in multiple languages, because cinema has never spoken just one.
🎞️ Where do our posters come from?
Our posters can be:
- Original cinema posters, used in theaters around the world
- Or high-quality reprints, when the original isn’t available in the size you choose
Either way, we’re obsessive about quality, so the final result looks amazing on your wall, not just accurate on paper.
🎬 What if I can’t find the movie or series of my dreams?
That’s exactly why we created CHOOSE YOUR MOVIE 🕶️ If you can’t find what you’re looking for :
- Simply type the movie or TV show name
- Choose the size
- And we take care of the rest
👉 No endless searching
👉 No comparing random websites
👉 No DIY headaches
You choose.
We print.
You receive your poster.
🎥 In short:
Popcorn Poster means:
- A massive catalog
- Worldwide cinema
- Thousands of references
- And the certainty that even if you don’t see it right away…
👉 your movie exists here.
🖨️ Is the print quality actually that good ?
Let’s be honest right from the start :
👉 these are probably the worst posters of all time. Blurry, poorly printed, dull colors… Basically, the kind of quality you’d expect from a movie filmed on a phone in the back row of a cinema in 2004.
…
Okay, obviously not 😄 If that were true, we’d be selling bootleg DVDs in a parking lot.
🎬 Let’s get serious (but not too serious)
Our posters are designed to last, not just look good in an Instagram story.
🖨️ For reprinted posters (when the original isn’t available in your chosen size) :
- We use eco-friendly, long-lasting, high-quality inks
- Resistant to time and light
- To avoid the “yellowing poster after a few months” effect
📄 The paper:
- 240g museum-grade paper
- Thick, premium feel
- Elegant matte finish
Definitely not thin paper that wrinkles if you breathe near it.
🖼️ The frames:
- Made of aluminum
- Lightweight once on the wall
- Won’t warp
- Won’t lose color over time
- Impressive lifespan
The kind of frame you hang, forget about, and still looks perfect years later.
🎞️ One important (and honest) thing to know
As you might expect :
👉 The older the movie, the more the print quality depends on the original source.
A movie poster from the 1970s:
- Won’t always look ultra-sharp 4K
- And that’s completely normal
It’s like watching The Godfather: Not Dolby Vision 2025, but that’s exactly part of its charm.
🎬 Bottom line:
Our posters are:
- Carefully printed
- Made with premium materials
- Designed to last
- And respectful of cinema history
Not a tired VHS, not fake overhyped 4K, but an honest, cinematic result, as it should be.
🖼️ Are the frames high quality ?
Let’s start with the truth: 👉 of course not.
We love wasting time, money, and energy selling terrible frames.
…
Okay, obviously no 😄 If that were the case, we’d do what everyone else does: cheap, fragile frames and “good luck assembling it yourself.”
🎬 A true story
At first, we used wooden frames. On paper, they looked nice. In real life? Not so much.
👉 Once on the wall, they warped over time.
👉 And during shipping… they could literally break apart.
So we made a simple decision:
🛑 stop using wood
✅ switch to aluminum
🖼️ Why aluminum?
Because:
- It’s lightweight (no Final Destination moment for your wall)
- It doesn’t warp
- It doesn’t yellow
- It keeps its color for years
- And has an impressive lifespan
🎬 In short:
frames built to last longer than most movie trilogies.
🛠️ And most importantly… no IKEA-style assembly
When you order a framed poster from Popcorn Poster,
👉 it arrives already framed, ready to hang.
Not like:
- Some poster sellers
- Or an IKEA piece you assemble on a Sunday night with one screw left over
We do the work for you.
🎨 What we actually do (and yes, it takes time)
- We select the frame (black, chrome, white…)
- Carefully place the poster inside
- Make sure no dust or hair sneaks in
- Wrap everything in our protective sleeves
- Place it in strong packaging
- And off it goes 🚚🍿
✨ The finish
Our frames have:
