📏 Size Guide & Finishes
🎞️ Size Guide: Pick Your "Blockbuster" Format
Whether you’re decorating a cozy "indie movie" studio or an IMAX-sized living room, we’ve got the perfect aspect ratio for your walls.
⚪ A4 : 21 x 29.7 cm (8.3 x 11.7 in) The "Grogu" Format. Small, cute, but packs a serious Force. Perfect for building a "Wall of Fame" in tight spaces.
⚪ A3 : 29.7 x 42 cm (11.7 x 16.5 in) The "Multiverse" Format. Not too big, not too small. Perfectly balanced, as Thanos would say (but without snapping half your decor away).
⚪ A2 : 42 x 59.4 cm (16.5 x 23.4 in) The "Heisenberg" Format. Now we’re cooking. This size doesn't just sit there; it’s the one who knocks on your living room door.
⚪ A1 : 59.4 x 84.1 cm (23.4 x 33.1 in) The "King Kong" Format. The Final Boss. A poster so massive it could probably stop a White Walker invasion. Go Big or Go Home.
🖼️ Finishes & Frames
Choose your art Raw (Unframed) or Upgraded in our premium aluminum armor :
- Black Aluminum: The "Dark Knight" Style. Sleek, matte, and elegant. It’s the James Bond tuxedo for your poster. A timeless classic.
- Chrome Aluminum: The "Stark Tech" Style. Polished, shiny, and futuristic. For that high-end Cyberpunk gallery vibe.
📦 Shipping & Handling
We treat your posters with more respect than John Wick treats his dog. Guaranteed no "spoilers" (or creases) upon arrival !
- A4 & A3 (Unframed): These travel flat in heavy-duty reinforced armor. More bulletproof than the A-Team van.
- A2 & A1 (Unframed): Carefully rolled in protective tissue paper and tucked into extra-strong tubes. They arrive ready to be unrolled like a Red Carpet at Cannes.
- Framed Posters (All Sizes): Maximum protection. We use specialized shock-resistant boxes and reinforced corners. Even a Fast & Furious car chase wouldn't scratch them.
🤓 The "Fine Print" (Post-Credits Scene)
Before you hit "Play" on your order, here’s a little legal fan-fiction to keep things smooth :
⚪ Visual FX vs. Reality : Just like a CGI trailer, our photos are not contractual. Colors might vary slightly in print- think of it as a "Variant" in the Multiverse.
⚪ The "Popcorn" Incident : While our name is Popcorn Poster, the actual popcorn seen in the photos is just for show. It’s not included. If we shipped real popcorn, it would be as stale as a 20-year-old VHS tape by the time it reached you.
⚪ Lights, Camera... No Action : The lighting bar featured above our frames in the photos is for dramatic effect only. It’s not part of the package. You’ll have to bring your own "Stark Industries" tech to light up your walls!
⚪ The Fan Statement : We have no official affiliation with the brands, studios, or caped crusaders featured in our designs. We’re just enthusiasts -like Peter Parker with his camera - aiming to help culture flourish.
⚪ Copyright Protocol : If any brand or "Supreme Leader" prefers not to be highlighted in our gallery, please reach out to us at hello@popcornposter.com. We’ll remove it faster than a glitch in the Matrix.

Wood Frames Suck: Aluminium Crushes It

Thicker Than Nicola's Seduction Game
🎬 Why this Appassionata (1974) Poster is the Real Deal ? 🤩
Listen up, cult flick fiends: Appassionata (1974) isn't just some dusty Italian erotic drama; it's a powder keg of taboo lust that exploded onto screens and now explodes on your wall via this killer poster. Directed by Gianluigi Calderone, this gem stars Gabriele Ferzetti as dentist Emilio, whose buttoned-up life gets drilled wide open by his daughter Eugenia (Ornella Muti, all smoldering teen fire) and her insatiable pal Nicola (Eleonora Giorgi, the blonde bombshell who pounces like a predator in heat). Throw in Valentina Cortese as the piano-plinking nutcase wife Elisa, and you've got a household imploding in Oedipal fever dreams.
Hype? It's building like a root canal infection. Twilight Time's Blu-ray dropped jaws with its excellent transfer, proving this sleaze-fest deserves HD glory. Letterboxd geeks call it 'daring, disturbing, depressing' - high praise for 70s Euro-trash that dances on incest's edge without full-on diving. Reviews rave about the Greek tragedy vibes via Italian grit: Emilio's midlife meltdown, Eugenia's daddy obsession, Nicola's dental-chair seduction (spoiler: no real novocaine, just placebo rage). Cinapse nails it as a 'maze of secrets and lies' with a taboo love quadrilateral at the center.
Why a future classic? Because it skewers family facades with savage style. Visuals? Steamy close-ups, moody shadows, colors that bleed passion - red lips, pale skin, piano ivory glowing like forbidden fruit. KQEK praises the 'dance' of relationships devolving into shocking bursts. The Retro Set spotlights Elisa's tragedy amid the erotic storm, making it more than skin flicks; it's psychological shrapnel. High Def Digest questions if banging your kid's friend is wrong when your wife's cracking - deep, twisted stuff.
This poster? It's the iconic shot freezing that sensual disruption: teens conspiring to nuke a dentist's sanity. Hang it, and you're ahead of the curve. As Blu-ray buzz reignites, normies will scramble for Appassionata merch. You? Already owning the visual legacy. Critics adore Cortese's superb fragility, Ferzetti's sly weakness, Muti and Giorgi's youthful venom. It's not popcorn fluff; it's the film that whispers 'what if your family reunion went full Freud?'
Poster perks seal the deal: heavyweight stock capturing every sultry detail. Future cult king? Bet on it. Reviews scream replay value, from office quickies to piano humiliations. Snag this before it hits Letterboxd top lists. Your wall demands this chaotic masterpiece - because who needs boring Marvel when you've got 70s dental debauchery?
🍿 Why you need a Appassionata (1974) poster on your wall ? 🤔
This poster proves you saw it first, you sly cult hunter. While sheep chase reboots, you're wallpapering with Appassionata (1974), the Italian erotic bomb where teens Nicola and Eugenia turn dentist dad Emilio's world into a lust-laced dumpster fire. Ornella Muti's Eugenia dotes on pops with creepy intensity, Eleonora Giorgi's Nicola jumps his bones mid-checkup, and Valentina Cortese's Elisa tickles ivories in psycho bliss. Gabriele Ferzetti's Emilio? Poor sap can't drill his way out.
Why your wall? It screams 'I'm cultured AF' without the pretension. This print captures the exact smirk-seduction stare-down that makes normies blush and geeks grin. High-energy chaos frozen in glossy glory: imagine explaining to guests, 'Yeah, that's the flick where the kid's friend bangs dad while mom's losing it.' Instant legend status.
Persuasion punch: It's not decor; it's a conversation grenade. Hype's surging - Twilight Time Blu-ray fans are obsessed with the devolving family dance, Oedipal teases, placebo novocaine rage. Reviews hail it as sleazy Greek tragedy, depressing yet addictive. Your pad looks pedestrian without it. Frame that taboo triangle and flex: 'I owned Appassionata before Letterboxd blew up.'
Quality? Bulletproof 240 g/m² stock that outlasts trends. Colors pop like Nicola's advances; blacks deeper than Elisa's breakdowns. This proves you're no casual - you sniff out future classics like a bloodhound. Walls without it? Boring. With it? A shrine to 70s forbidden fruit. Snag now; regret later. Your inner geek demands this sanity-shredding statement piece. Hang it, own the disruption, live the cult life.
📼 Stop Scrolling 🤚 Own the Appassionata (1974) Collector’s Print: Geeky Specs & Shipping
Ditch the scroll, cult geek - this Appassionata (1974) poster is your ticket to owning a slice of Italian erotic anarchy. We're talking heavyweight 240 g/m² premium poster paper, museum high quality that laughs at cheapo prints. Vibrant colors explode like Nicola's dental seduction, deep blacks swallow light like Elisa's piano fugues. You're not just buying a poster; you're acquiring a piece of Appassionata (1974) history, capturing Ornella Muti's Oedipal fire, Eleonora Giorgi's home-wrecking heat, Gabriele Ferzetti's doomed dentist schtick, and Valentina Cortese's fragile meltdown.
Shipping? Locked and loaded for perfection. A4 and A3 formats arrive perfectly flat in reinforced protective packaging - no curls, no rolls, zero drama. Larger A2 and A1? Carefully rolled in heavy-duty tubes for maximum protection during transit. Every size is ready to be framed instantly, so you skip the hassle and dive straight into wall domination.
This isn't flimsy fanboy fodder; it's collector-grade glory built for geeks who worship 70s sleaze. The gloss? Razor-sharp, reflecting every taboo glance like a mirror to Emilio's midlife mess. Hang it beside your Twilight Time Blu-ray and watch jaws drop. Specs scream pro: thickness that flexes without folding, hues that haunt like Eugenia's daddy stares. Shipping seals the deal - global trek-proof, arriving pristine so your cult shrine ignites day one.
Why obsess? Because Appassionata's visual punch demands preservation. From office quickies to family powder kegs, this print immortalizes the buzz. Protected packaging means no transit tragedies; just pure, instant gratification. Geek out: 240 g/m² isn't paper, it's armor for your passion project. Flat or tubed, it's frame-ready fury. Own the legacy, skip the scroll - your wall's new overlord awaits.
🎞️ Framing the Genius: Appassionata (1974)’s Visual Legacy
Appassionata (1974) doesn't just seduce; it visually eviscerates with Gianluigi Calderone's masterful lens. Forget bland drama - this is a visual feast of color theory weaponized for taboo tension. Warm flesh tones bathe Emilio's (Gabriele Ferzetti) unraveling world, contrasting icy blues around Elisa's (Valentina Cortese) piano isolation, screaming her mental fracture. Reds? Explosive in Nicola's (Eleonora Giorgi) lips and Eugenia's (Ornella Muti) wardrobe, pulsing like forbidden heartbeats.
Art direction drips upscale decay: the Rutelli home's luxurious gloss hides cracks - polished marble floors reflecting sly glances, shadowed corners hiding dental office sins. Cinematography dances like the film's devolving relationships: tight close-ups on sweat-slicked skin during Nicola's aggressive hookup, wide shots of family dinners cracking under Oedipal weight. Iconic imagery? That novocaine moment - needle gleam, placebo reveal - frozen in stark white light against clinical terror.
Visual language builds a powder keg: slow pans over piano keys mimic Elisa's shattered dreams, quick cuts amp teen sensuality's disruption. Shadows cloak Emilio's weakness, golden hour glows tease Eugenia's infatuation. It's Greek tragedy via Italian sleaze - every frame a Freudian fever dream. Reviews geek out on the 'dance' of glances, bursts of shock. This poster's shot? Peak icon: eyes locking in conspiracy, colors clashing like the quadrilateral lust maze.
Legacy? Influences modern psychodramas with its bold palette - vibrant yet oppressive, mirroring chaos. Art direction elevates erotica to high art: opulent sets underscoring domestic doom. Hang this print; you're framing genius that outshines contemporaries. Visuals don't whisper; they wreck households, just like the plot.
👀 Did You Know ? 🤯 Fun facts about Appassionata (1974)
- Novocaine Fake-Out: During Nicola's (Eleonora Giorgi) steamy dental seduction, Emilio (Gabriele Ferzetti) pretends to inject novocaine but uses plain water as a placebo. Her rage explosion when she learns? Pure cinematic gold, flipping her 'out' excuse into consequence city.
- Valentina Cortese's Piano Power: Elisa (Valentina Cortese), a former concert pianist who cracked after one debut, gets humiliated by daughter Eugenia forcing a living room recital. Critics rave her superb fragility as the film's true heart amid the sleaze.
- Oedipal Tease Overload: Ornella Muti's Eugenia isn't just jealous; her flirt-fest with dad borders incest, with one 'Big Moment' blurring lines - was it her ploy? The film's climax hinges on that evening indiscretion.
- Twilight Time Revival: Buried gem got Blu-ray glory in 2016 from Twilight Time, with excellent transfer turning 70s grit into HD heaven. Extras standard, but synopsis alone reignited cult buzz.
- Nicola's Multi-Role: Giorgi's vixen bonds with fragile Elisa, playing mom, daughter, wife in a twisted family fill-in. Her preference for 'real men' over boys? Sparks the whole home-wrecking fuse.
- Director's Dance: Calderone structures the madness like a relational ballet - teasing glances, jealousy bursts, shocking behavior leading to powder-keg blowouts.
- Letterboxd Lore: Fans dub it 'daring, disturbing, depressing,' spotlighting the teens' conspiracy to nuke dad's sanity via sensuality.
- Institutional Tease: Emilio debates locking up Elisa for 'her health' - selfish escape or mercy? Adds selfish dad layer to his teen-tempted tailspin.
These nuggets make Appassionata more than skin flick; it's twisted trivia treasure. Poster owns the vibe.

📦 Where do you ship ?
We don’t ship to Hawkins, Tatooine, or Westeros, but good news: we ship worldwide, including all across Europe, the UK, the United States, Canada, Japan, Australia, and many other destinations.
🎬 Quick movie reference: In Cast Away, Tom Hanks survives on a deserted island thanks to a lost FedEx package.
Iconic scene… but definitely not the delivery experience we want for your Appassionata (1974) poster 😅
👉 That’s exactly why we work with our trusted partner UPS® to make sure your package doesn’t end up lost in the middle of nowhere with only a volleyball for company.
📦 With UPS®, we offer:

- Home delivery or UPS® Access Point (relay pickup)
💰 Shipping rates:

Bottom line: at Popcorn Poster, your package arrives safely at your door, not on a deserted beach with “HELP” written in the sand.
⏱️ How long does delivery take ?
Great question and don’t worry, the answer won’t last as long as Titanic.
📦 All orders leave our warehouses within 24 hours after being placed. No waiting around like Tom Hanks in The Terminal.
🚚 Two delivery options with our partner UPS®:
- Express delivery: 24–48 hours, depending on the destination country ( Faster than The Flash, no super suit required )
- Standard delivery: around 1-6 business days ( Perfect if you’re not in a rush like Frodo heading to Mordor )
📍 All shipments are fully tracked in real time.
⚠️ Make sure to enter a valid email address and phone number at checkout — they’re essential to receive UPS® tracking updates at every step of the journey.
🌧️ Real-world disclaimer : Occasional delays can happen due to weather conditions, high shipping volumes or unexpected events. No need to panic, we usually start investigating after 7 business days (excluding weekends).
🚀 Why UPS®?
Because it’s simply the fastest international carrier, with one of the best delivery services in the world. We’d rather invest in reliability than turn your delivery into a Mission: Impossible scenario.
💸 We cover a large part of the shipping costs, because our goal is simple: to offer you the best delivery service possible, wherever you are in the world, no compromises.
Bottom line: your poster arrives fast, fully tracked, and without any Indiana Jones level adventures.
📍 Can I track my order ?
Yes. And not just “kind of” 😌 As soon as your order leaves our warehouse, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with a UPS® tracking link.
📦 With UPS®, you can track your poster in real time, step by step, almost like Nick Fury monitoring his agents.
📲 For tracking to work perfectly, it’s very important to double-check all your details before placing your order:
- ✅ Complete and correct delivery address (This happens every day: missing house number, wrong country selected, incomplete street name…)
- ✅ Valid and accessible email address
- ✅ Correct phone number
🎬 Let’s be honest:
All we want is for your package with your awesome new poster to arrive as fast as possible, and in perfect condition.
A quick check now saves you from needing a Back to the Future-style time travel to fix a wrong address.
📧 One more important thing about email:
Please don’t use a throwaway or inaccessible email address. We won’t spam you (we’re not Skynet), but:
- UPS® pickup codes are sent by email
- Delivery notifications too
Without access to your inbox, there’s unfortunately nothing we can do, and your package may vanish forever, like a lost VHS tape from the 90s.
🎥 In short:
You know where your package is, when it arrives, and how to collect it, no need to play Sherlock Holmes or watch the street like Walter White behind the curtains.
🔄 What if I want to return my poster ?
We get it, even Citizen Kane didn’t please everyone.
🎨 Custom posters
Custom posters are non-returnable and non-refundable. They’re printed specifically for you, like a James Bond–tailored suit: once it’s made, it’s yours.
📦 Non-custom posters
For non-custom posters, please refer to our detailed return policy at the bottom of the page, under “Delivery Issues”. This section clearly explains return, refund, and resolution conditions.
🚚 Delivery issues (delay, lost or damaged package) If:
- Your order hasn’t arrived within the estimated timeframe
- Your package is lost
- Your poster arrives damaged
👉 contact us at hello@popcornposter.com. We’ll immediately work with the carrier (UPS®) to resolve the issue.
📅 Please note:
The carrier has a formal process and timeline to declare a package as lost, 15 days after the estimated delivery date. Before that, the package is officially still “in transit”.
⏳ Delivery delays & right to a refund
The right to a refund for delivery delays only applies if the delay is not caused by force majeure or circumstances beyond the seller’s control (weather conditions, strikes, exceptional events, etc.).
According to European Directive 2011/83/EU:
- If no fixed delivery time is specified (only an estimate),
- The seller must deliver the order within a reasonable timeframe, typically up to 30 days from the order confirmation
If this timeframe is exceeded, the seller is granted an additional one-week period to complete the delivery.
🎬 In short:
We never leave customers without support, but we also believe in solving things calmly, without a failed-season-finale level of drama.
Orders & Payments
Orders, payments & behind-the-scenes details (The part people skip… but shouldn’t)
💳 What payment methods do you accept ?
We keep it simple and secure 🔒
We accept:
- Credit & debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
- PayPal
- Apple Pay
- Google Pay
All payments are 100% secure. Even Bruce Wayne would approve this checkout.
✏️ Can I change or cancel my order ?
Yes… and we’ve even built in a little flexibility 😌
👉 After payment, you have a 30-minute window to contact us if you’d like to:
- Change the poster size
- Switch the frame color
- Upgrade from unframed to framed
Because sometimes you realize after checkout that the black frame would look way better and that’s totally fine.
⏱️ After this 30-minute window, your order enters production. At that point, changes are no longer possible, kind of like trying to rewrite a movie after the end credits.
🖼️ Good to know about delivery:
- Framed posters arrive fully framed, ready to hang
- Unframed posters are carefully protected in a plastic protective film
- A4 and A3 unframed posters are shipped flat, not rolled, to prevent any deformation and ensure a perfect finish right out of the package
Our goal is simple:
to make sure your poster arrives fast, well-protected, and exactly how you imagined it, no bad surprises.
🧾 Will I receive an order confirmation and invoice ?
Absolutely 😌
After placing your order, you’ll receive:
- An order confirmation email
- An invoice with all details
If you don’t see it, check your spam folder (sometimes emails disappear like mail at Hogwarts).
Need a custom invoice? Just contact us.
💥 My order arrived damaged, what should I do ?
First: breathe 😌
Yes, it can happen. Even with the best carrier in the world, a delivery driver can have a bad day, be in a rush, or your package can go through a real adventure during transit.
👉 The good news:
Since working with UPS®, damaged packages are very rare.
Trust us… you don’t want to know how many emails we used to get with our previous carriers 😅
That problem is now solved thanks to:
- Stronger protection
- Better packaging
- Much more reliable delivery
But let’s be real :
Packages travel for several days. They can fall, be stacked, sometimes crushed… Honestly, we should put a GoPro inside a package to see what it goes through 🎥📦
🚚 When we hand packages over to UPS®, everything is perfect :
Paolo, our UPS® driver, comes by every day with a smile, packages leave well protected and damage-free. After that… they go on their journey.
👉 If you’re part of the 1% of cases where a package arrives damaged :
It’s not a big deal. it’s annoying (we agree), and trust me:
👉 if I ordered something and received it damaged, I’d be annoyed too.
Here’s what to do calmly 👇
- Take a photo of the package
- Take a photo of the poster
- Email us at hello@popcornposter.com
(with your order number, ex. #1001)
📩 Important - Customer support :
Our customer service is handled exclusively by email.
🙅♂️ Not via Instagram
🙅♂️ Not via TikTok
🙅♂️ And unfortunately… not by owls either ⚡🦉
Why ? Because email allows us to :
- Properly track your case
- Keep all information in one place
- Respond quickly and efficiently
📬 Marion checks emails every single day and replies to everyone.
If we have all the required info, within 24 hours, we’ll find a solution together, fast, and one that works for you.
🙏 Friendly advice :
- Please avoid ALL CAPS emails
- Avoid aggressive or entitled tones
Otherwise Marion gets angry… and I have to deal with her being angry all day 😡😅
Nobody wins.
If Marion solved your issue (and trust us, she really solves them all), please consider leaving a Trustpilot review mentioning her name: Marion isn’t ChatGPT, she reads every review, and she’ll absolutely love seeing her name mentioned with positive feedback 👀😇
🎬 Bottom line :
We ship dozens of packages every day, we do everything we can to make sure everything arrives perfectly, and when something goes wrong, we own it and fix it.
Simple, human, efficient. 🫶
❓ I haven’t received my order, what should I do?
First things first, something very important 👇 (No panic, this isn’t an episode of Lost.)
👉 Make sure you entered complete and accurate contact details when placing your order:
- Correct delivery address
- Valid email address
- Phone number
Without this information, even the best carrier in the world can’t work miracles.
📦 All orders are tracked via UPS®, and the tracking is (truly) extremely precise.
🎬 A quick look at your package’s journey:
- As soon as we create your shipping label and attach it to the package → Bam, email
- Every day around 12 PM, Paolo, our awesome UPS® driver, comes by to collect the parcels
- Before your package even enters his super truck, Paolo scans each parcel one by one → Bam, email
- When he drops your package at the UPS® logistics hub for proper routing → Quick scan, Bam email
👉 Result: you receive an email at every single movement of your package. Your poster is tracked more closely than a main character in a TV series.
🖨️ Important note for custom posters:
Custom posters may require up to 24 additional hours of processing, depending on demand. Why ?
Because this one isn’t in stock, we create it ourselves, specifically for you. Nothing to worry about, it may just take a little longer, and that’s completely normal.
⏳ Now, real-world shipping reality :
Delays can happen (weather conditions, logistics issues, unexpected events). It’s not common, but it happens.
👉 We only really start worrying after 7 business days (excluding weekends).
If that timeframe is exceeded, contact us and we’ll immediately open an investigation with UPS®.
🎬 Bottom line:
We never leave a customer without a solution, but we also avoid jumping to conclusions like a Netflix thriller after 10 minutes.
If you’re really worried about where your order might be hiding, send us an email at hello@popcornposter.com and Marion will take care of the investigation with Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Machine 🕵️♂️🚐🍿
About Our Products
This is where we answer all the questions your brain asks while staring at a poster thinking : “Okay… but is it really that cool in real life?” Spoiler: it is.
🍿 What kind of posters do you sell ?
At Popcorn Poster, we don’t do “a bit of home decor.” We do cinema. A lot of cinema. Probably too much cinema. 🎬🍿
More specifically, our catalog includes thousands of movie and TV series posters, in multiple languages, sourced from cinemas all around the world.
Yes ! we’re talking about one of the largest movie poster catalogs in the world. And no, we’re not just saying that for fun (okay… maybe a little).
You’ll find posters from:
- 🎥 cult movies you can quote by heart
- 🏛️ timeless classics you deeply respect
- 🚀 recent films that blew your mind
- 📺 iconic TV series you binge-watched “just one episode”… until sunrise
And most importantly : 👉 in multiple languages, because cinema has never spoken just one.
🎞️ Where do our posters come from?
Our posters can be:
- Original cinema posters, used in theaters around the world
- Or high-quality reprints, when the original isn’t available in the size you choose
Either way, we’re obsessive about quality, so the final result looks amazing on your wall, not just accurate on paper.
🎬 What if I can’t find the movie or series of my dreams?
That’s exactly why we created CHOOSE YOUR MOVIE 🕶️ If you can’t find what you’re looking for :
- Simply type the movie or TV show name
- Choose the size
- And we take care of the rest
👉 No endless searching
👉 No comparing random websites
👉 No DIY headaches
You choose.
We print.
You receive your poster.
🎥 In short:
Popcorn Poster means:
- A massive catalog
- Worldwide cinema
- Thousands of references
- And the certainty that even if you don’t see it right away…
👉 your movie exists here.
🖨️ Is the print quality actually that good ?
Let’s be honest right from the start :
👉 these are probably the worst posters of all time. Blurry, poorly printed, dull colors… Basically, the kind of quality you’d expect from a movie filmed on a phone in the back row of a cinema in 2004.
…
Okay, obviously not 😄 If that were true, we’d be selling bootleg DVDs in a parking lot.
🎬 Let’s get serious (but not too serious)
Our posters are designed to last, not just look good in an Instagram story.
🖨️ For reprinted posters (when the original isn’t available in your chosen size) :
- We use eco-friendly, long-lasting, high-quality inks
- Resistant to time and light
- To avoid the “yellowing poster after a few months” effect
📄 The paper:
- 240g museum-grade paper
- Thick, premium feel
- Elegant matte finish
Definitely not thin paper that wrinkles if you breathe near it.
🖼️ The frames:
- Made of aluminum
- Lightweight once on the wall
- Won’t warp
- Won’t lose color over time
- Impressive lifespan
The kind of frame you hang, forget about, and still looks perfect years later.
🎞️ One important (and honest) thing to know
As you might expect :
👉 The older the movie, the more the print quality depends on the original source.
A movie poster from the 1970s:
- Won’t always look ultra-sharp 4K
- And that’s completely normal
It’s like watching The Godfather: Not Dolby Vision 2025, but that’s exactly part of its charm.
🎬 Bottom line:
Our posters are:
- Carefully printed
- Made with premium materials
- Designed to last
- And respectful of cinema history
Not a tired VHS, not fake overhyped 4K, but an honest, cinematic result, as it should be.
🖼️ Are the frames high quality ?
Let’s start with the truth: 👉 of course not.
We love wasting time, money, and energy selling terrible frames.
…
Okay, obviously no 😄 If that were the case, we’d do what everyone else does: cheap, fragile frames and “good luck assembling it yourself.”
🎬 A true story
At first, we used wooden frames. On paper, they looked nice. In real life? Not so much.
👉 Once on the wall, they warped over time.
👉 And during shipping… they could literally break apart.
So we made a simple decision:
🛑 stop using wood
✅ switch to aluminum
🖼️ Why aluminum?
Because:
- It’s lightweight (no Final Destination moment for your wall)
- It doesn’t warp
- It doesn’t yellow
- It keeps its color for years
- And has an impressive lifespan
🎬 In short:
frames built to last longer than most movie trilogies.
🛠️ And most importantly… no IKEA-style assembly
When you order a framed poster from Popcorn Poster,
👉 it arrives already framed, ready to hang.
Not like:
- Some poster sellers
- Or an IKEA piece you assemble on a Sunday night with one screw left over
We do the work for you.
🎨 What we actually do (and yes, it takes time)
- We select the frame (black, chrome, white…)
- Carefully place the poster inside
- Make sure no dust or hair sneaks in
- Wrap everything in our protective sleeves
- Place it in strong packaging
- And off it goes 🚚🍿
✨ The finish
Our frames have:
- A slightly matte finish
- With just a touch of shine
Once on the wall or on a shelf, it makes a real difference in a home. Because a poster isn’t just decoration.
It’s:
- An atmosphere
