Paper Tougher Than Rebecca's Brother-Saving Spine

Forget flimsy flyers that crumple like Martin's sanity under Diana's shadow. Our Lights Out (2016) poster is printed on 240 g/m² glossy paper, thick enough to survive a blackout brawl. This beast boasts razor-sharp details, so every shadowy claw and flickering bulb leaps out like it's auditioning for your nightmares. Vibrant colors punch through the gloom, deep blacks swallow light whole, just like the monster. It's not paper; it's a fortress of fright, museum-grade quality that laughs at folds and fingerprints. Hang it, frame it, worship it. Your walls deserve this heavyweight champ that outlasts cheapo prints wilting faster than Teresa Palmer's nerves.

🎬 Why this Lights Out (2016) Poster is the Real Deal ? 🤩

Oh, you thought Lights Out (2016) was just another jump-scare flick? Wrong, newbie. Directed by David F. Sandberg, this gem exploded from a viral short into a full-blown horror juggernaut, raking in buzz for its genius premise: a supernatural hag named Diana who vanishes when the lights flip on. Teresa Palmer slays as Rebecca, the big sis dragged back into mommy's monster mess, with Gabriel Bateman as the pint-sized prophet seeing shadows no one else does.

Critics? They lost their minds. Rotten Tomatoes crowned it fresh with audiences screaming 82% approval, praising the 'heart-pounding simplicity' that makes every light switch a lottery ticket to terror. It's not bloated CGI slop; it's raw, relatable dread in your childhood home. Box office? Crushed $150 million worldwide on a measly $5 mil budget, proving smart scares trump spectacle every time.

This poster? The original US one-sheet, baby! That iconic image of the family frozen in flicker-lit fear, Diana's outline lurking like bad debt. Printed crisp on premium stock, it's the hype relic for fans who know James Wan's producer touch (yeah, Conjuring dude) elevated it to cult status. Reviews gush over the cinematography: shadows as characters, lights as weapons. 'Terrifyingly effective,' roars Variety. Future classic? Bet your bulbs. In a sea of forgettable slashers, Lights Out lingers like that creak in the hall.

Why own it? Because when the power grid fails (and it will), your wall's glowing with proof you saw the spark first. Hype train's eternal: Sandberg's now helming Shazam sequels, but this was his horror throne. Collectors hoard originals like this 27x40 beast for its double-sided glory and fine condition vibes. Don't sleepwalk past it; snag the poster that captures the film's soul-sucking suspense. Your room needs this darkness magnet. Lights out on lame walls forever.

Visuals pop with deep blacks mimicking the film's blackout aesthetic, colors vivid as Rebecca's panic. It's more than merch; it's a ticket to the terror that redefined 'turn off the lights.' Future cult king, confirmed by fan art floods and endless 'scariest short adaptation' debates. Grab it, frame it, freak out friends. This poster's the real deal, lighting up horror history.

🍿 Why you need a Lights Out (2016) poster on your wall ? 🤔

This poster proves you saw it first, you savvy horror hound. While normies chase Marvel fluff, you're walls-deep in David F. Sandberg's Lights Out (2016), the flick that turned a three-minute short into nightmare fuel. That viral clip? 50 million views of Diana's light-fleeing freakout. Now expanded into feature glory, starring Teresa Palmer channeling every 'bad mom' trope into supernatural gold.

Picture it: your wall screaming cult cred before the masses catch on. This isn't some faded fan print; it's the official one-sheet capturing the family's frozen terror, shadows clawing like unpaid therapy bills. Hang it, and boom: instant conversation killer. 'Seen Lights Out? Yeah, my poster's OG.'

Persuasion punch: Critics called it 'ingenious minimalism' (Empire), audiences howled approval. Why your wall? Because bland beige begs for this black-hole vibe. It whispers 'I'm genre elite' without yelling. Rebecca's resolve, Martin's wide-eyed woe, mom's Diana dependency, all etched in glossy perfection. Own the hype artifact from the $5M budget that banked $150M. Future classic vibes, like The Ring but lights-off simple.

Practical sell: Pops in any room, scares smartly. Friends flip, dates ditch (win-win), kids learn fear early. This proves you're ahead of the curve, collecting before eBay gouges. Don't lurk in lit-up mediocrity; black out your space with this beast. It's not decor; it's dominance. Snag it, flex it, live the legacy. Your walls crave the chill only Lights Out delivers. Lights off, legend on.

📼 Stop Scrolling 🤚 Own the Lights Out (2016) Collector’s Print: Geeky Specs & Shipping

Heavyweight 240 g/m² premium poster paper hits like Diana's midnight ambush: thick, unyielding, pure muscle. Museum high quality means colors vibrate with Rebecca's panic reds and Martin's fear blues, deep blacks devouring light like the spirit herself. You're not just buying a poster; you're acquiring a piece of Lights Out (2016) history, that iconic one-sheet freezing the family's flicker-lit doom.

Shipping? We treat it like fragile sanity. A4 and A3 formats arrive perfectly flat in reinforced protective packaging (no curls, no rolls, zero excuses). Larger A2 and A1 formats are carefully rolled in heavy-duty tubes to ensure maximum protection during transit, because nothing kills vibe like a creased creepshow. All formats ready to be framed instantly, no futzing around.

This isn't dollar-store drivel; it's collector-grade, acid-free stock that laughs at yellowing. Hang it raw or frame it fancy; either way, shadows pop, details haunt. Geek specs: glossy finish amplifies the film's high-contrast horror, every claw mark crisp, every bulb glow sharp. Shipping worldwide, tracked like a stalker's gaze, arriving pristine to fuel your fandom. From Sandberg's short-to-screen leap, this print embodies the buzz. Secure yours; walls without it are just walls. Protected, premium, poster perfection.

🎞️ Framing the Genius: Lights Out (2016)’s Visual Legacy

Lights Out (2016) visuals? David F. Sandberg wields light like a weapon, turning everyday fluorescents into Diana's kryptonite. Visual language screams simplicity: darkness isn't empty, it's alive, crawling with implied claws. Shadows stretch like therapy bills, positive space (lit areas) traps victims in false safety. Iconic imagery? That hallway flicker where Diana dissolves, pure genius minimalism.

Color theory mastery: desaturated grays and blues blanket the mundane home, punctuated by harsh whites from bulbs that 'exorcise' the entity. Reds? Rare blood pulses in panic moments, heightening dread. Art direction nails domestic horror: cluttered kitchens, kid's rooms turned traps, all bathed in bulb glow that mocks normalcy.

Sandberg's short set the template; feature amps it with Steadicam prowls through black voids, lights snapping on/off like jump-cut punches. No gore overload; tension builds in silhouettes, Diana's outline a white dress ghost taunting physics. Cinematographer’s nod to noir: high contrast ratios make blacks abyssal, whites blinding. Poster echoes this perfectly, family silhouettes against void, bulb rays slicing gloom.

Legacy? Influenced cheap-thrill horrors, proving less-is-more slays budgets. Iconic shots like the elevator vanish or basement blackout redefined 'turn off the light' scares. This visual style lingers, haunting dorm walls and Reddit threads. Frame it to honor the craft that banked millions on shadow play.

👀 Did You Know ? 🤯 Fun facts about Lights Out (2016)

Did you know Lights Out (2016) birthed from a three-minute short that racked 50 million YouTube views? David F. Sandberg shot it in his kitchen with his wife as Diana, flipping lights for that viral vanish act. Warner Bros snapped it up, ballooning a $5M budget into $150M global glory.

Teresa Palmer beat 200 actresses for Rebecca, channeling real-mom fears after her own kid's night terrors. Gabriel Bateman, the brother, was 11 and nailed wide-eyed terror; his sis Elle later joined him in Stranger Things buzz. Billy Burke (mom's boyfriend) brought Twilight grit to a role that chews scenery like Diana chews light.

James Wan produced, spotting Sandberg's short amid Conjuring hype. Filming? All practical: no CGI for Diana's moves, just Lotta Losten (short's star) in a dress, edited to flicker-fame. Iconic poster? Original US one-sheet, rolled fine condition, double-sided for collectors drooling over 27x40 perfection.

Buzz then: Critics raved 'scariest PG-13 since Sixth Sense.' Now? Cult revival with Sandberg helming DC hits like Shazam, but fans demand Lights Out 2. Trivia twist: Diana's weakness? Inspired by real phobia studies on nyctophobia. Cast secrets: Palmer improvised screams echoing her Aussie roots. Current hype? Streaming spikes on Max, TikTok recreations going viral. Own the poster that immortalizes this short-to-scream queen.

FAQ's

Before you panic… welcome to our FAQ 👋 (Yes, we see you, Sherlock) Before going full John Wick on your keyboard, we’ve gathered the answers to the most common questions right here. Grab some Popcorn, your answer is probably just below 👇

Shipping & Returns

Shipping times, tracking, returns… everything you need to know before confirming your order like Neo choosing the red pill.

📦 Where do you ship ?

We don’t ship to Hawkins, Tatooine, or Westeros, but good news: we ship worldwide, including all across Europe, the UK, the United States, Canada, Japan, Australia, and many other destinations.

🎬 Quick movie reference: In Cast Away, Tom Hanks survives on a deserted island thanks to a lost FedEx package.

Iconic scene… but definitely not the delivery experience we want for your Lights Out (2016) poster 😅

👉 That’s exactly why we work with our trusted partner UPS® to make sure your package doesn’t end up lost in the middle of nowhere with only a volleyball for company.

📦 With UPS®, we offer:

  • Standard or Express delivery
  • Home delivery or UPS® Access Point (relay pickup)

💰 Shipping rates:

  • €4.95 standard shipping
  • Free shipping on orders over €50 with UPS® Access Point delivery

📍 The UPS® pickup point selection is made after payment.

⚠️ Please make sure to enter a valid email address and phone number, they’re essential for real-time tracking updates and delivery notifications.

Bottom line: at Popcorn Poster, your package arrives safely at your door, not on a deserted beach with “HELP” written in the sand.

⏱️ How long does delivery take ?

Great question and don’t worry, the answer won’t last as long as Titanic.

📦 All orders leave our warehouses within 24 hours after being placed. No waiting around like Tom Hanks in The Terminal.

🚚 Two delivery options with our partner UPS®:

  • Express delivery: 24–48 hours, depending on the destination country ( Faster than The Flash, no super suit required )
  • Standard delivery: around 1-6 business days ( Perfect if you’re not in a rush like Frodo heading to Mordor )

📍 All shipments are fully tracked in real time.
⚠️ Make sure to enter a valid email address and phone number at checkout — they’re essential to receive UPS® tracking updates at every step of the journey.

🌧️ Real-world disclaimer : Occasional delays can happen due to weather conditions, high shipping volumes or unexpected events. No need to panic, we usually start investigating after 7 business days (excluding weekends).

🚀 Why UPS®?
Because it’s simply the fastest international carrier, with one of the best delivery services in the world. We’d rather invest in reliability than turn your delivery into a Mission: Impossible scenario.

💸 We cover a large part of the shipping costs, because our goal is simple: to offer you the best delivery service possible, wherever you are in the world, no compromises.

Bottom line: your poster arrives fast, fully tracked, and without any Indiana Jones level adventures.

📍 Can I track my order ?

Yes. And not just “kind of” 😌 As soon as your order leaves our warehouse, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with a UPS® tracking link.

📦 With UPS®, you can track your poster in real time, step by step, almost like Nick Fury monitoring his agents.

📲 For tracking to work perfectly, it’s very important to double-check all your details before placing your order:

  • Complete and correct delivery address (This happens every day: missing house number, wrong country selected, incomplete street name…)
  • Valid and accessible email address
  • Correct phone number

🎬 Let’s be honest:
All we want is for your package with your awesome new poster to arrive as fast as possible, and in perfect condition.

A quick check now saves you from needing a Back to the Future-style time travel to fix a wrong address.

📧 One more important thing about email:
Please don’t use a throwaway or inaccessible email address. We won’t spam you (we’re not Skynet), but:

  • UPS® pickup codes are sent by email
  • Delivery notifications too

Without access to your inbox, there’s unfortunately nothing we can do, and your package may vanish forever, like a lost VHS tape from the 90s.

🎥 In short:
You know where your package is, when it arrives, and how to collect it, no need to play Sherlock Holmes or watch the street like Walter White behind the curtains.

🔄 What if I want to return my poster ?

We get it, even Citizen Kane didn’t please everyone.

🎨 Custom posters

Custom posters are non-returnable and non-refundable. They’re printed specifically for you, like a James Bond–tailored suit: once it’s made, it’s yours.

📦 Non-custom posters

For non-custom posters, please refer to our detailed return policy at the bottom of the page, under “Delivery Issues”. This section clearly explains return, refund, and resolution conditions.

🚚 Delivery issues (delay, lost or damaged package) If:

  • Your order hasn’t arrived within the estimated timeframe
  • Your package is lost
  • Your poster arrives damaged

👉 contact us at hello@popcornposter.com. We’ll immediately work with the carrier (UPS®) to resolve the issue.

📅 Please note:
The carrier has a formal process and timeline to declare a package as lost, 15 days after the estimated delivery date. Before that, the package is officially still “in transit”.

⏳ Delivery delays & right to a refund

The right to a refund for delivery delays only applies if the delay is not caused by force majeure or circumstances beyond the seller’s control (weather conditions, strikes, exceptional events, etc.).

According to European Directive 2011/83/EU:

  • If no fixed delivery time is specified (only an estimate),
  • The seller must deliver the order within a reasonable timeframe, typically up to 30 days from the order confirmation

If this timeframe is exceeded, the seller is granted an additional one-week period to complete the delivery.

🎬 In short:
We never leave customers without support, but we also believe in solving things calmly, without a failed-season-finale level of drama.

Orders & Payments

Orders, payments & behind-the-scenes details (The part people skip… but shouldn’t)

💳 What payment methods do you accept ?

We keep it simple and secure 🔒

We accept:

  • Credit & debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
  • PayPal
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay

All payments are 100% secure. Even Bruce Wayne would approve this checkout.

✏️ Can I change or cancel my order ?

Yes… and we’ve even built in a little flexibility 😌

👉 After payment, you have a 30-minute window to contact us if you’d like to:

  • Change the poster size
  • Switch the frame color
  • Upgrade from unframed to framed

Because sometimes you realize after checkout that the black frame would look way better and that’s totally fine.

⏱️ After this 30-minute window, your order enters production. At that point, changes are no longer possible, kind of like trying to rewrite a movie after the end credits.

🖼️ Good to know about delivery:

  • Framed posters arrive fully framed, ready to hang
  • Unframed posters are carefully protected in a plastic protective film
  • A4 and A3 unframed posters are shipped flat, not rolled, to prevent any deformation and ensure a perfect finish right out of the package

Our goal is simple:

to make sure your poster arrives fast, well-protected, and exactly how you imagined it, no bad surprises.

🧾 Will I receive an order confirmation and invoice ?

Absolutely 😌

After placing your order, you’ll receive:

  • An order confirmation email
  • An invoice with all details

If you don’t see it, check your spam folder (sometimes emails disappear like mail at Hogwarts).

Need a custom invoice? Just contact us.

💥 My order arrived damaged, what should I do ?

First: breathe 😌
Yes, it can happen. Even with the best carrier in the world, a delivery driver can have a bad day, be in a rush, or your package can go through a real adventure during transit.

👉 The good news:
Since working with UPS®, damaged packages are very rare.
Trust us… you don’t want to know how many emails we used to get with our previous carriers 😅

That problem is now solved thanks to:

  • Stronger protection
  • Better packaging
  • Much more reliable delivery

But let’s be real :
Packages travel for several days. They can fall, be stacked, sometimes crushed… Honestly, we should put a GoPro inside a package to see what it goes through 🎥📦

🚚 When we hand packages over to UPS®, everything is perfect :

Paolo, our UPS® driver, comes by every day with a smile, packages leave well protected and damage-free. After that… they go on their journey.

👉 If you’re part of the 1% of cases where a package arrives damaged :

It’s not a big deal. it’s annoying (we agree), and trust me:

👉 if I ordered something and received it damaged, I’d be annoyed too.

Here’s what to do calmly 👇

  1. Take a photo of the package
  2. Take a photo of the poster
  3. Email us at hello@popcornposter.com

(with your order number, ex. #1001)

📩 Important - Customer support :
Our customer service is handled exclusively by email.

🙅‍♂️ Not via Instagram

🙅‍♂️ Not via TikTok

🙅‍♂️ And unfortunately… not by owls either ⚡🦉

Why ? Because email allows us to :

  • Properly track your case
  • Keep all information in one place
  • Respond quickly and efficiently

📬 Marion checks emails every single day and replies to everyone.

If we have all the required info, within 24 hours, we’ll find a solution together, fast, and one that works for you.

🙏 Friendly advice :

  • Please avoid ALL CAPS emails
  • Avoid aggressive or entitled tones

Otherwise Marion gets angry… and I have to deal with her being angry all day 😡😅

Nobody wins.

If Marion solved your issue (and trust us, she really solves them all), please consider leaving a Trustpilot review mentioning her name: Marion isn’t ChatGPT, she reads every review, and she’ll absolutely love seeing her name mentioned with positive feedback 👀😇

🎬 Bottom line :

We ship dozens of packages every day, we do everything we can to make sure everything arrives perfectly, and when something goes wrong, we own it and fix it.

Simple, human, efficient. 🫶

❓ I haven’t received my order, what should I do?

First things first, something very important 👇 (No panic, this isn’t an episode of Lost.)

👉 Make sure you entered complete and accurate contact details when placing your order:

  • Correct delivery address
  • Valid email address
  • Phone number

Without this information, even the best carrier in the world can’t work miracles.

📦 All orders are tracked via UPS®, and the tracking is (truly) extremely precise.

🎬 A quick look at your package’s journey:

  • As soon as we create your shipping label and attach it to the package → Bam, email
  • Every day around 12 PM, Paolo, our awesome UPS® driver, comes by to collect the parcels
  • Before your package even enters his super truck, Paolo scans each parcel one by oneBam, email
  • When he drops your package at the UPS® logistics hub for proper routing → Quick scan, Bam email

👉 Result: you receive an email at every single movement of your package. Your poster is tracked more closely than a main character in a TV series.

🖨️ Important note for custom posters:

Custom posters may require up to 24 additional hours of processing, depending on demand. Why ?

Because this one isn’t in stock, we create it ourselves, specifically for you. Nothing to worry about, it may just take a little longer, and that’s completely normal.

Now, real-world shipping reality :

Delays can happen (weather conditions, logistics issues, unexpected events). It’s not common, but it happens.

👉 We only really start worrying after 7 business days (excluding weekends).

If that timeframe is exceeded, contact us and we’ll immediately open an investigation with UPS®.

🎬 Bottom line:
We never leave a customer without a solution, but we also avoid jumping to conclusions like a Netflix thriller after 10 minutes.

If you’re really worried about where your order might be hiding, send us an email at hello@popcornposter.com and Marion will take care of the investigation with Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Machine 🕵️‍♂️🚐🍿

About Our Products

This is where we answer all the questions your brain asks while staring at a poster thinking : “Okay… but is it really that cool in real life?” Spoiler: it is.

🍿 What kind of posters do you sell ?

At Popcorn Poster, we don’t do “a bit of home decor.” We do cinema. A lot of cinema. Probably too much cinema. 🎬🍿

More specifically, our catalog includes thousands of movie and TV series posters, in multiple languages, sourced from cinemas all around the world.

Yes ! we’re talking about one of the largest movie poster catalogs in the world. And no, we’re not just saying that for fun (okay… maybe a little).

You’ll find posters from:

  • 🎥 cult movies you can quote by heart
  • 🏛️ timeless classics you deeply respect
  • 🚀 recent films that blew your mind
  • 📺 iconic TV series you binge-watched “just one episode”… until sunrise

And most importantly : 👉 in multiple languages, because cinema has never spoken just one.

🎞️ Where do our posters come from?

Our posters can be:

  • Original cinema posters, used in theaters around the world
  • Or high-quality reprints, when the original isn’t available in the size you choose

Either way, we’re obsessive about quality, so the final result looks amazing on your wall, not just accurate on paper.

🎬 What if I can’t find the movie or series of my dreams?

That’s exactly why we created CHOOSE YOUR MOVIE 🕶️ If you can’t find what you’re looking for :

  1. Simply type the movie or TV show name
  2. Choose the size
  3. And we take care of the rest

👉 No endless searching

👉 No comparing random websites

👉 No DIY headaches

You choose.

We print.

You receive your poster.

🎥 In short:

Popcorn Poster means:

  • A massive catalog
  • Worldwide cinema
  • Thousands of references
  • And the certainty that even if you don’t see it right away…

    👉 your movie exists here.
🖨️ Is the print quality actually that good ?

Let’s be honest right from the start :

👉 these are probably the worst posters of all time. Blurry, poorly printed, dull colors… Basically, the kind of quality you’d expect from a movie filmed on a phone in the back row of a cinema in 2004.

Okay, obviously not 😄 If that were true, we’d be selling bootleg DVDs in a parking lot.

🎬 Let’s get serious (but not too serious)

Our posters are designed to last, not just look good in an Instagram story.

🖨️ For reprinted posters (when the original isn’t available in your chosen size) :

  • We use eco-friendly, long-lasting, high-quality inks
  • Resistant to time and light
  • To avoid the “yellowing poster after a few months” effect

📄 The paper:

  • 240g museum-grade paper
  • Thick, premium feel
  • Elegant matte finish

Definitely not thin paper that wrinkles if you breathe near it.

🖼️ The frames:

  • Made of aluminum
  • Lightweight once on the wall
  • Won’t warp
  • Won’t lose color over time
  • Impressive lifespan

The kind of frame you hang, forget about, and still looks perfect years later.

🎞️ One important (and honest) thing to know

As you might expect :

👉 The older the movie, the more the print quality depends on the original source.

A movie poster from the 1970s:

  • Won’t always look ultra-sharp 4K
  • And that’s completely normal

It’s like watching The Godfather: Not Dolby Vision 2025, but that’s exactly part of its charm.

🎬 Bottom line:

Our posters are:

  • Carefully printed
  • Made with premium materials
  • Designed to last
  • And respectful of cinema history

Not a tired VHS, not fake overhyped 4K, but an honest, cinematic result, as it should be.

🖼️ Are the frames high quality ?

Let’s start with the truth: 👉 of course not.
We love wasting time, money, and energy selling terrible frames.

Okay, obviously no 😄 If that were the case, we’d do what everyone else does: cheap, fragile frames and “good luck assembling it yourself.”

🎬 A true story

At first, we used wooden frames. On paper, they looked nice. In real life? Not so much.

👉 Once on the wall, they warped over time.

👉 And during shipping… they could literally break apart.

So we made a simple decision:

🛑 stop using wood

✅ switch to aluminum

🖼️ Why aluminum?

Because:

  • It’s lightweight (no Final Destination moment for your wall)
  • It doesn’t warp
  • It doesn’t yellow
  • It keeps its color for years
  • And has an impressive lifespan

🎬 In short:

frames built to last longer than most movie trilogies.

🛠️ And most importantly… no IKEA-style assembly

When you order a framed poster from Popcorn Poster,

👉 it arrives already framed, ready to hang.

Not like:

  • Some poster sellers
  • Or an IKEA piece you assemble on a Sunday night with one screw left over

We do the work for you.

🎨 What we actually do (and yes, it takes time)

  • We select the frame (black, chrome, white…)
  • Carefully place the poster inside
  • Make sure no dust or hair sneaks in
  • Wrap everything in our protective sleeves
  • Place it in strong packaging
  • And off it goes 🚚🍿

✨ The finish

Our frames have:

  • A slightly matte finish
  • With just a touch of shine

Once on the wall or on a shelf, it makes a real difference in a home. Because a poster isn’t just decoration.

It’s:

  • An atmosphere
  • A soul
  • Your personality on display

You’re not going to pick a generic, ugly frame everyone else has.

👉 Your home represents who you are.

And every day, when you walk past your poster, you’ll feel that little moment of satisfaction. You’ll see 😌
