Wood Frames Are Dead (And Honestly, They Deserved It)

Let's be real: wood frames are the participation trophies of wall decor. They warp, they crack, they make your Immortals poster look like it's from a thrift store in 2003. Enter aluminum framing: the Clark Kent to wood's kryptonite-riddled future. Our aluminum frames keep your poster perfectly flat, protected from humidity, dust, and the judgmental stares of visitors who appreciate actual craftsmanship. The sleek metallic finish complements the epic grandeur of this film without fighting for attention. Your poster stays pristine. Your wall stays legendary. Everyone wins except wood frames.

Henry Cavill's Jawline Has Nothing on Our 240 g/m² Glossy Paper

Listen, we could tell you this poster is printed on premium 240 g/m² glossy museum-quality paper, but that sounds boring. What we're really saying is this poster will outlast your last three relationships and still look crisp. The glossy finish makes those mythological battle scenes POP like Zeus throwing lightning bolts at your eyeballs. Your colors won't fade, your blacks won't fade into sad grays, and you won't be the person bringing a poster printed on napkin-weight paper to a knife fight. This is the stuff that makes collectors weep tears of joy. Seriously, this paper thickness is so legit, it makes regular posters look like they're made of clouds.

🎬 Why this Immortals (2011) Poster is the Real Deal 🤩

In 2011, director Tarsem Singh unleashed a visual spectacle that redefined mythological action cinema: Immortals. This film wasn't just another Greek mythology cash-grab; it was a visceral, jaw-dropping experience that dominated Comic-Con conversations and WonderCon buzz. The theatrical poster we're offering captures the essence of this epic perfectly, featuring Henry Cavill as Theseus, the chosen mortal leading humanity's desperate final stand against King Hyperion's apocalyptic rampage.

This specific poster became iconic the moment it premiered at Comic-Con, earning immediate recognition from critics and fans alike. The composition embodies everything the film promised: action-packed intensity, mythological grandeur, and visual storytelling that demands wall space. Tarsem Singh's directorial vision translated into a marketing campaign that understood its audience, delivering character posters that became collector's items overnight.

Why is this poster the real deal? Because it represents a moment in cinema history when superhero culture intersected with epic fantasy filmmaking. Henry Cavill's pre-Superman performance was a revelation, Mickey Rourke's villainous King Hyperion commanded every frame, and the supporting cast (Kellan Lutz, Isabel Lucas, Luke Evans) elevated the material beyond expectations. This poster served as the visual promise of everything the film delivered.

The poster itself showcases the film's signature visual language: dramatic lighting, bold color contrast, and an almost operatic sense of scale. It's not just promotional material; it's contemporary art documenting a film that understood how to blend classical mythology with modern action cinema sensibilities. Collectors recognized this immediately, which is why original theatrical posters from this release have become increasingly sought-after.

For cinephiles, this poster proves you recognized quality before mainstream acknowledgment arrived. It announces to any room that you appreciate films willing to swing for the mythological fences, that you understand visual storytelling, and that your taste in cinema extends beyond algorithm-generated recommendations. This is the poster that separates casual moviegoers from genuine film enthusiasts who invested in cinema from day one.

🍿 Why you need a Immortals (2011) poster on your wall 🤔

Here's the uncomfortable truth: your wall is judging you. Specifically, it's judging you for NOT having this Immortals (2011) poster. This theatrical masterpiece serves as visual proof that you saw something special before everyone else caught on.

Owning this poster makes a statement that transcends typical fandom. It declares that you appreciated Henry Cavill's raw intensity as Theseus, that you understood Tarsem Singh's bold directorial vision, and that you recognize 2011 as the year cinema proved mythology could be genuinely epic. This isn't nostalgia; this is validation of impeccable taste.

Think about the conversations this poster generates. Visitors will immediately recognize the gravitas of Immortals' theatrical release, the cultural moment it represented, and yes, they'll acknowledge your sophisticated appreciation for action cinema that took itself seriously. This poster doesn't whisper; it announces your commitment to visual storytelling excellence.

The practical reality: premium 240 g/m² glossy paper means your poster resists fading, warping, and the general entropy that destroys inferior prints. Aluminum framing keeps everything protected while providing that gallery-quality aesthetic. This isn't a poster that quietly depreciates; this is an investment in wall art that maintains its visual impact decade after decade.

But the real reason? You need this poster because it represents a specific moment when cinema dared to be ambitious, when directors believed audiences craved genuine epic storytelling, and when a film could premiere theatrical posters that became instant collector's items. Displaying this poster proves you were there, you understood the significance, and you maintained enough self-respect to invest in quality reproduction that honors the original artistic vision.

📼 Stop Scrolling 🤚 Own the Immortals (2011) Collector's Print: Geeky Specs & Shipping

Let's discuss what separates this poster from the garbage prints floating around the internet. We're talking heavyweight 240 g/m² premium poster paper, museum-quality production standards, and printing processes that preserve the theatrical release's original color timing and visual depth. Your Immortals poster arrives with vibrant colors that actually pop, blacks so deep they make regular posters look washed out, and color saturation that respects Tarsem Singh's original artistic vision.

You're not just buying a poster; you're acquiring a piece of Immortals (2011) cinema history rendered in physical form. This is the same caliber of printing used for gallery exhibitions and museum retrospectives. The paper weight alone distinguishes this from drugstore alternatives: 240 g/m² feels substantial, looks professional, and resists the creasing and deterioration that plague inferior stock.

Shipping specifications matter because collectors understand that receiving damaged goods destroys the entire ownership experience. A4 and A3 formats arrive perfectly flat in reinforced protective packaging-no curled edges, no accidental rolls, no 'well, maybe the frame will hide the damage' compromises. Larger A2 and A1 formats are carefully rolled in heavy-duty tubes, because we respect your investment enough to prevent transit damage that would otherwise devastate a pristine print.

The moment your poster arrives, it's ready for immediate framing. We've eliminated the frustration of dealing with creases, protective sheets, or mystery damage. Your poster emerges from packaging in exhibition-ready condition. Whether you're using aluminum frames, UV-protective acrylic, or professional gallery equipment, this print provides the foundation worthy of genuine collector's curation.

Every Immortals (2011) poster we ship represents our commitment to quality reproduction that honors both the original film and your appreciation for it. This is premium printing, professional packaging, and shipping logistics designed by people who actually care about collector satisfaction. Your wall deserves this caliber of presentation.

🎞️ Framing the Genius: Immortals (2011)'s Visual Legacy

Tarsem Singh, the visionary behind The Cell and The Fall, brought his signature visual language to Immortals (2011) with uncompromising boldness. His cinematography transforms Greek mythology into a hyperkinetic canvas of color, shadow, and symbolic imagery that elevates the entire action-cinema landscape. This poster captures Singh's visual genius: the deliberate use of light and darkness, the mythological symbolism embedded in every frame, and the color theory that distinguishes his work from conventional Hollywood fare.

The visual language of Immortals operates on multiple registers simultaneously. Primary colors-reds, blues, golds-don't just decorate scenes; they carry mythological weight. Red represents the mortal struggle, blue evokes the divine realm, gold suggests timelessness. Singh's art direction embraces this symbolic framework, creating compositions where every element serves the larger visual narrative. This poster distills that sophistication into a single image.

Color theory permeates every decision: the contrast between Henry Cavill's humanity and the mythological backdrop behind him, the way warm tones clash against cool divinity, the almost painterly approach to cinematography that makes battle sequences feel like Renaissance frescoes rendered in motion. Singh understands that action cinema doesn't require visual mediocrity; it demands heightened visual language that matches the epic narrative stakes.

The art direction extends beyond costume and set design into the realm of visual philosophy. Every frame communicates world-building, character psychology, and thematic depth through purely visual means. This poster exemplifies that commitment: the composition announces 'this is a film that respects your intelligence and your eyeballs.' The iconic imagery captures Singh's belief that mythology, when treated with genuine visual reverence, transcends nostalgia to become contemporary art.

Displaying this poster acknowledges your appreciation for cinema that marries visual sophistication with action spectacle, that refuses to choose between narrative depth and visual splendor. This is what directorial vision looks like when granted resources and creative autonomy.

👀 Did You Know 🤯 Fun facts about Immortals (2011)

Henry Cavill's performance as Theseus became the direct precursor to his Superman casting announcement. Studios were watching Immortals closely, and Cavill's combination of physicality, dramatic intensity, and charismatic presence caught everyone's attention. Playing a mortal chosen to fight gods essentially positioned him as the perfect candidate to portray cinema's most iconic god-like being in human form. This poster represents the exact moment Cavill transitioned from talented character actor to genuine action-cinema leading man.

The film's theatrical release strategy was deliberately ambitious. Revealing character posters at both Comic-Con and WonderCon represented an unprecedented commitment to the convention circuit marketing. These weren't generic promotional materials; they were collector's-grade posters designed to generate immediate fan enthusiasm and create social media momentum. The fact that multiple character posters emerged from major conventions signaled that studios genuinely believed in this project's cultural significance.

Tarsem Singh's involvement guaranteed visual ambition, but it also meant potential studio tension. Singh has never compromised his artistic vision for commercial expectations, and Immortals reflects that uncompromising approach. The film's visual audacity-the color grading, the compositional choices, the almost operatic sense of scale-speaks to a director unwilling to make standard action fare. This poster captures that singularity of vision.

Mickey Rourke's King Hyperion became the film's secret weapon. Rourke's distinctive presence, his ability to convey menace through stillness and precision, elevated the villain from generic antagonist to genuinely threatening force. His presence in this film's mythology changed how audiences perceived Rourke's career renaissance and demonstrated that character actors could command epic action cinema.

The film premiered during an era of superhero cinema expansion, yet Immortals boldly asserted that mythological storytelling deserved its own cinematic language. This poster represents that confident assertion, that moment when a film announced 'we're not derivative; we're creating our own visual universe.' That cultural confidence remains remarkably refreshing in retrospect.

🚚 Two delivery options with our partner UPS®:

  • Express delivery: 24–48 hours, depending on the destination country ( Faster than The Flash, no super suit required )

🌧️ Real-world disclaimer : Occasional delays can happen due to weather conditions, high shipping volumes or unexpected events. No need to panic, we usually start investigating after 7 business days (excluding weekends).

🚀 Why UPS®?
Because it’s simply the fastest international carrier, with one of the best delivery services in the world. We’d rather invest in reliability than turn your delivery into a Mission: Impossible scenario.

💸 We cover a large part of the shipping costs, because our goal is simple: to offer you the best delivery service possible, wherever you are in the world, no compromises.

📦 With UPS®, you can track your poster in real time, step by step, almost like Nick Fury monitoring his agents.

📲 For tracking to work perfectly, it’s very important to double-check all your details before placing your order:

  • Complete and correct delivery address (This happens every day: missing house number, wrong country selected, incomplete street name…)
  • Valid and accessible email address
  • Correct phone number

🎬 Let’s be honest:
All we want is for your package with your awesome new poster to arrive as fast as possible, and in perfect condition.

A quick check now saves you from needing a Back to the Future-style time travel to fix a wrong address.

📧 One more important thing about email:
Please don’t use a throwaway or inaccessible email address. We won’t spam you (we’re not Skynet), but:

  • UPS® pickup codes are sent by email
  • Delivery notifications too

Without access to your inbox, there’s unfortunately nothing we can do, and your package may vanish forever, like a lost VHS tape from the 90s.

🎥 In short:
You know where your package is, when it arrives, and how to collect it, no need to play Sherlock Holmes or watch the street like Walter White behind the curtains.

🔄 What if I want to return my poster ?

We get it, even Citizen Kane didn’t please everyone.

🎨 Custom posters

Custom posters are non-returnable and non-refundable. They’re printed specifically for you, like a James Bond–tailored suit: once it’s made, it’s yours.

📦 Non-custom posters

For non-custom posters, please refer to our detailed return policy at the bottom of the page, under “Delivery Issues”. This section clearly explains return, refund, and resolution conditions.

🚚 Delivery issues (delay, lost or damaged package) If:

  • Your order hasn’t arrived within the estimated timeframe
  • Your package is lost
  • Your poster arrives damaged

👉 contact us at hello@popcornposter.com. We’ll immediately work with the carrier (UPS®) to resolve the issue.

📅 Please note:
The carrier has a formal process and timeline to declare a package as lost, 15 days after the estimated delivery date. Before that, the package is officially still “in transit”.

⏳ Delivery delays & right to a refund

The right to a refund for delivery delays only applies if the delay is not caused by force majeure or circumstances beyond the seller’s control (weather conditions, strikes, exceptional events, etc.).

According to European Directive 2011/83/EU:

  • If no fixed delivery time is specified (only an estimate),
  • The seller must deliver the order within a reasonable timeframe, typically up to 30 days from the order confirmation

If this timeframe is exceeded, the seller is granted an additional one-week period to complete the delivery.

🎬 In short:
We never leave customers without support, but we also believe in solving things calmly, without a failed-season-finale level of drama.

Orders & Payments

Orders, payments & behind-the-scenes details (The part people skip… but shouldn’t)

💳 What payment methods do you accept ?

We keep it simple and secure 🔒

We accept:

  • Credit & debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
  • PayPal
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay

All payments are 100% secure. Even Bruce Wayne would approve this checkout.

✏️ Can I change or cancel my order ?

Yes… and we’ve even built in a little flexibility 😌

👉 After payment, you have a 30-minute window to contact us if you’d like to:

  • Change the poster size
  • Switch the frame color
  • Upgrade from unframed to framed

Because sometimes you realize after checkout that the black frame would look way better and that’s totally fine.

⏱️ After this 30-minute window, your order enters production. At that point, changes are no longer possible, kind of like trying to rewrite a movie after the end credits.

🖼️ Good to know about delivery:

  • Framed posters arrive fully framed, ready to hang
  • Unframed posters are carefully protected in a plastic protective film
  • A4 and A3 unframed posters are shipped flat, not rolled, to prevent any deformation and ensure a perfect finish right out of the package

Our goal is simple:

to make sure your poster arrives fast, well-protected, and exactly how you imagined it, no bad surprises.

🧾 Will I receive an order confirmation and invoice ?

Absolutely 😌

After placing your order, you’ll receive:

  • An order confirmation email
  • An invoice with all details

If you don’t see it, check your spam folder (sometimes emails disappear like mail at Hogwarts).

Need a custom invoice? Just contact us.

💥 My order arrived damaged, what should I do ?

First: breathe 😌
Yes, it can happen. Even with the best carrier in the world, a delivery driver can have a bad day, be in a rush, or your package can go through a real adventure during transit.

👉 The good news:
Since working with UPS®, damaged packages are very rare.
Trust us… you don’t want to know how many emails we used to get with our previous carriers 😅

That problem is now solved thanks to:

  • Stronger protection
  • Better packaging
  • Much more reliable delivery

But let’s be real :
Packages travel for several days. They can fall, be stacked, sometimes crushed… Honestly, we should put a GoPro inside a package to see what it goes through 🎥📦

🚚 When we hand packages over to UPS®, everything is perfect :

Paolo, our UPS® driver, comes by every day with a smile, packages leave well protected and damage-free. After that… they go on their journey.

👉 If you’re part of the 1% of cases where a package arrives damaged :

It’s not a big deal. it’s annoying (we agree), and trust me:

👉 if I ordered something and received it damaged, I’d be annoyed too.

Here’s what to do calmly 👇

  1. Take a photo of the package
  2. Take a photo of the poster
  3. Email us at hello@popcornposter.com

(with your order number, ex. #1001)

📩 Important - Customer support :

🙅‍♂️ Not via TikTok

🙅‍♂️ And unfortunately… not by owls either ⚡🦉

🙏 Friendly advice :

  • Please avoid ALL CAPS emails
  • Avoid aggressive or entitled tones

Otherwise Marion gets angry… and I have to deal with her being angry all day 😡😅

Nobody wins.

If Marion solved your issue (and trust us, she really solves them all), please consider leaving a Trustpilot review mentioning her name: Marion isn’t ChatGPT, she reads every review, and she’ll absolutely love seeing her name mentioned with positive feedback 👀😇

🎬 Bottom line :

We ship dozens of packages every day, we do everything we can to make sure everything arrives perfectly, and when something goes wrong, we own it and fix it.

Simple, human, efficient. 🫶

❓ I haven’t received my order, what should I do?

First things first, something very important 👇 (No panic, this isn’t an episode of Lost.)

👉 Make sure you entered complete and accurate contact details when placing your order:

  • Correct delivery address
  • Valid email address
  • Phone number

Without this information, even the best carrier in the world can’t work miracles.

📦 All orders are tracked via UPS®, and the tracking is (truly) extremely precise.

🎬 A quick look at your package’s journey:

  • As soon as we create your shipping label and attach it to the package → Bam, email
  • Every day around 12 PM, Paolo, our awesome UPS® driver, comes by to collect the parcels
  • Before your package even enters his super truck, Paolo scans each parcel one by oneBam, email
  • When he drops your package at the UPS® logistics hub for proper routing → Quick scan, Bam email

👉 Result: you receive an email at every single movement of your package. Your poster is tracked more closely than a main character in a TV series.

🖨️ Important note for custom posters:

Custom posters may require up to 24 additional hours of processing, depending on demand. Why ?

Because this one isn’t in stock, we create it ourselves, specifically for you. Nothing to worry about, it may just take a little longer, and that’s completely normal.

Now, real-world shipping reality :

Delays can happen (weather conditions, logistics issues, unexpected events). It’s not common, but it happens.

👉 We only really start worrying after 7 business days (excluding weekends).

If that timeframe is exceeded, contact us and we’ll immediately open an investigation with UPS®.

🎬 Bottom line:
We never leave a customer without a solution, but we also avoid jumping to conclusions like a Netflix thriller after 10 minutes.

If you’re really worried about where your order might be hiding, send us an email at hello@popcornposter.com and Marion will take care of the investigation with Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Machine 🕵️‍♂️🚐🍿

About Our Products

This is where we answer all the questions your brain asks while staring at a poster thinking : “Okay… but is it really that cool in real life?” Spoiler: it is.

🍿 What kind of posters do you sell ?

At Popcorn Poster, we don’t do “a bit of home decor.” We do cinema. A lot of cinema. Probably too much cinema. 🎬🍿

More specifically, our catalog includes thousands of movie and TV series posters, in multiple languages, sourced from cinemas all around the world.

Yes ! we’re talking about one of the largest movie poster catalogs in the world. And no, we’re not just saying that for fun (okay… maybe a little).

You’ll find posters from:

  • 🎥 cult movies you can quote by heart
  • 🏛️ timeless classics you deeply respect
  • 🚀 recent films that blew your mind
  • 📺 iconic TV series you binge-watched “just one episode”… until sunrise

And most importantly : 👉 in multiple languages, because cinema has never spoken just one.

🎞️ Where do our posters come from?

Our posters can be:

  • Original cinema posters, used in theaters around the world
  • Or high-quality reprints, when the original isn’t available in the size you choose

Either way, we’re obsessive about quality, so the final result looks amazing on your wall, not just accurate on paper.

🎬 What if I can’t find the movie or series of my dreams?

That’s exactly why we created CHOOSE YOUR MOVIE 🕶️ If you can’t find what you’re looking for :

  1. Simply type the movie or TV show name
  2. Choose the size
  3. And we take care of the rest

👉 No endless searching

👉 No comparing random websites

👉 No DIY headaches

You choose.

We print.

You receive your poster.

🎥 In short:

Popcorn Poster means:

  • A massive catalog
  • Worldwide cinema
  • Thousands of references
  • And the certainty that even if you don’t see it right away…

    👉 your movie exists here.
🖨️ Is the print quality actually that good ?

Let’s be honest right from the start :

👉 these are probably the worst posters of all time. Blurry, poorly printed, dull colors… Basically, the kind of quality you’d expect from a movie filmed on a phone in the back row of a cinema in 2004.

Okay, obviously not 😄 If that were true, we’d be selling bootleg DVDs in a parking lot.

🎬 Let’s get serious (but not too serious)

Our posters are designed to last, not just look good in an Instagram story.

🖨️ For reprinted posters (when the original isn’t available in your chosen size) :

  • We use eco-friendly, long-lasting, high-quality inks
  • Resistant to time and light
  • To avoid the “yellowing poster after a few months” effect

📄 The paper:

  • 240g museum-grade paper
  • Thick, premium feel
  • Elegant matte finish

Definitely not thin paper that wrinkles if you breathe near it.

🖼️ The frames:

  • Made of aluminum
  • Lightweight once on the wall
  • Won’t warp
  • Won’t lose color over time
  • Impressive lifespan

The kind of frame you hang, forget about, and still looks perfect years later.

🎞️ One important (and honest) thing to know

As you might expect :

👉 The older the movie, the more the print quality depends on the original source.

A movie poster from the 1970s:

  • Won’t always look ultra-sharp 4K
  • And that’s completely normal

It’s like watching The Godfather: Not Dolby Vision 2025, but that’s exactly part of its charm.

🎬 Bottom line:

Our posters are:

  • Carefully printed
  • Made with premium materials
  • Designed to last
  • And respectful of cinema history

Not a tired VHS, not fake overhyped 4K, but an honest, cinematic result, as it should be.

🖼️ Are the frames high quality ?

Let’s start with the truth: 👉 of course not.
We love wasting time, money, and energy selling terrible frames.

Okay, obviously no 😄 If that were the case, we’d do what everyone else does: cheap, fragile frames and “good luck assembling it yourself.”

🎬 A true story

At first, we used wooden frames. On paper, they looked nice. In real life? Not so much.

👉 Once on the wall, they warped over time.

👉 And during shipping… they could literally break apart.

So we made a simple decision:

🛑 stop using wood

✅ switch to aluminum

🖼️ Why aluminum?

Because:

  • It’s lightweight (no Final Destination moment for your wall)
  • It doesn’t warp
  • It doesn’t yellow
  • It keeps its color for years
  • And has an impressive lifespan

🎬 In short:

frames built to last longer than most movie trilogies.

🛠️ And most importantly… no IKEA-style assembly

When you order a framed poster from Popcorn Poster,

👉 it arrives already framed, ready to hang.

Not like:

  • Some poster sellers
  • Or an IKEA piece you assemble on a Sunday night with one screw left over

We do the work for you.

🎨 What we actually do (and yes, it takes time)

  • We select the frame (black, chrome, white…)
  • Carefully place the poster inside
  • Make sure no dust or hair sneaks in
  • Wrap everything in our protective sleeves
  • Place it in strong packaging
  • And off it goes 🚚🍿

✨ The finish

Our frames have:

  • A slightly matte finish
  • With just a touch of shine

Once on the wall or on a shelf, it makes a real difference in a home. Because a poster isn’t just decoration.

It’s:

  • An atmosphere
  • A soul
  • Your personality on display

You’re not going to pick a generic, ugly frame everyone else has.

👉 Your home represents who you are.

And every day, when you walk past your poster, you’ll feel that little moment of satisfaction. You’ll see 😌
