Wood Frames Suck: Aluminium Wins, Duh

Wood frames? Please. Those splintery relics warp faster than a plot twist in a bad rom-com, yellow with time like forgotten grandma's attic. Enter aluminium: sleek, lightweight, rust-proof badassery that hugs your poster like a true fan. No creaks, no bows, just pure, modern shine that elevates 'Here (2011)' to gallery god status. Ditch the tree-murdering hipster vibe; aluminium's the future, baby. Snap it on and watch your wall transform from dorm drab to director's den. Punchy protection that says 'I get it' without saying a word.

Gideon Wolle's Paper: Tougher Than His Satellite Signals

Printed on 240 g/m² glossy paper that's basically indestructible, this bad boy laughs at coffee spills and toddler tantrums. Gideon Wolle's mapping engineer vibes? Precise and unyielding, just like this stock that holds crisp details sharper than his GPS tech. Vibrant colors pop like Armenian sunsets, deep blacks swallow light like remote countryside nights. No flimsy drugstore junk here; this is premium heft that frames up flawless. Feel the weight of quality every time you glance over. It's not paper; it's a fortress for your wall, mocking every thin poster that's ever curled up and died.

🎬 Why this Here (2011) Poster is the Real Deal ? 🤩

Listen up, cinephiles: 'Here (2011)' isn't just a movie; it's the indie darling that snuck up on 2011's radar like a satellite blind date gone epic. Directed with raw guts, this gem stars Lubna Azabal as the expat shutterbug and Ben Foster as the map-making American whose whirlwind Armenian road trip screams 'future cult classic.' Reviews? Critics drooled over its intimate visuals and pulse-pounding romance against jaw-dropping landscapes. No explosions, just emotional nukes that leave you wrecked and wanting more.

Now, this poster? It's the hype machine's crown jewel. Top lists crushed it: Cinema Enthusiast's Top 20 of 2011 hailed its fresh design ditching Photoshop slop for pure artistry. Jeremy the Critic called it art-house perfection, while High-Def Digest and ZevenDesign stacked it with the year's elite. Forget generic faces; this image nails the film's soul, blending Foster and Azabal's chemistry with Armenia's rugged poetry. It's not merch; it's a time capsule for when 'Here' blows up on streaming and your walls flex foresight.

Why buy now? Cult status brews in obscurity. Poster peaked early, snagging spots on elite 2011 rosters before the masses caught on. Reviews rave about Ann Turner's cinematography, turning dirt roads into desire maps. Hype's building: whispers of re-releases, festival revivals. Own this high-quality print on 240 g/m² gloss, and you're the prophet who saw the spark. Hang it, and every guest asks, 'What's that?' You smirk: 'The next big thing you slept on.' Visuals pop with color theory mastery, earthy tones clashing passion reds. It's persuasive proof you're ahead of the curve in a sea of superhero sludge. This poster's your ticket to bragging rights when 'Here' hits mainstream. Snag it before FOMO bites.

🍿 Why you need a Here (2011) poster on your wall ? 🤔

This poster proves you saw it first, you visionary savage. While zombies chase mainstream zombies, 'Here (2011)' simmers as the cult boil waiting to erupt. Ben Foster's satellite nerd and Lubna Azabal's photo fiend ignite in Armenia's wilds, crafting a romance rawer than your ex's texts. This wall art screams 'I knew before Netflix did.'

Picture it: guests gawk, jaws dropped at the poster's killer comp of landscapes and longing stares. You drop knowledge bombs on its top-2011 poster cred from critic lists everywhere. It's not decor; it's dominance. Premium 240 g/m² gloss laughs at fading fads, colors blazing like the film's impulsive fire. Aluminium frame option? Chef's kiss for that pro gallery glow.

Own the edge. This proves you're no bandwagon bandito; you're the scout spotting gold in indie dirt. When 'Here' trends in 2026 remakes or revivals, your poster's the relic flexing prescience. Sarcasm shield activated: yeah, keep scrolling TikTok trends. Real ones collect obscurities that explode. This bad boy ships flat or tubed, ready to rule. Persuasion level: maxed. Your wall's begging for this badge of bold taste. Nab it, frame it, conquer.

📼 Stop Scrolling 🤚 Own the Here (2011) Collector’s Print: Geeky Specs & Shipping

Heavyweight 240 g/m² premium poster paper hits like a director's cut flex. Museum high quality means vibrant colors explode off the page, deep blacks suck you into Armenia's mysteries like a black hole of bad decisions. You're not just buying a poster; you're acquiring a piece of 'Here (2011)' history, the kind that outlives your Netflix queue.

Shipping? We got you, noobs. A4 and A3 formats arrive perfectly flat in reinforced protective packaging (no curls, no rolls, zero excuses). Larger A2 and A1 formats are carefully rolled in heavy-duty tubes to ensure maximum protection during transit. All formats ready to be framed instantly, so you skip the 'it arrived wrecked' sob story.

This isn't flimsy fanboy fodder; it's collector-grade with razor-sharp details capturing Foster's brooding map-guy stare and Azabal's wild-eyed wanderlust. Gloss finish amps the drama, making every sunset hue and shadow pop like the film's impulsive romance. Hang it unframed for that raw edge or slap on aluminium for sleek slay. Geek specs: acid-free paper fights yellowing, so your investment stays fresh decades from now. Shipping worldwide, tracked like Gideon's satellites. No borders stop this beauty. From click to wall in days, not dreams. You're welcome, future wall lord.

🎞️ Framing the Genius: Here (2011)’s Visual Legacy

'Here (2011)'s cinematography is a savage love letter to Armenia's brutal beauty, ditching Hollywood gloss for gritty poetry. Ann Turner's lens crafts a visual language that's intimate yet epic, framing Foster and Azabal's fling like a fever dream on dirt roads. Every shot pulses with color theory mastery: earthy browns and greens clash against fiery orange sunsets, symbolizing passion igniting in isolation.

Art direction? Genius-level savage. Remote villages and jagged peaks aren't backdrops; they're characters breathing tension into the romance. Iconic imagery abounds: the couple's impulsive stare-downs amid vast emptiness scream 'now or never.' Washed-out skies mirror emotional voids, while vivid wildflower pops signal fleeting highs. No CGI crutches; real landscapes raw-dog the narrative, turning travelogue into heartbreak haiku.

This poster's the holy grail capture, distilling that legacy into wall-ready glory. Poster design echoes the film's style: minimalist comps layering faces over horizons, color pops drawing eyes like magnets. Critics geeked out, ranking it top-tier 2011 for visual punch. Own it, and you're curating cinema history. Sarcastic flex: while others hoard capes, you hoard visual viscera. Legacy locked.

👀 Did You Know ? 🤯 Fun facts about Here (2011)

Did you know 'Here (2011)' shot entirely on location in Armenia's ass-end of nowhere, turning crew into real-life road trippers? Ben Foster, method-acting maniac, ditched hotels for tents, channeling his satellite engineer's isolation harder than a bad breakup. Lubna Azabal? Her photographer role was meta gold; she snapped candids that director Braden King almost snuck into the final cut.

Trivia bomb: the film's poster exploded onto 2011 lists, snagging Top 20 from Cinema Enthusiast for ditching Photoshop zombies, Jeremy the Critic's art-house fave, and nods from High-Def Digest plus ZevenDesign. Critics called it a breath of fresh pixels amid blockbuster bloat. Production buzz? King funded it indie-style, scraping Kickstarter vibes before they were cool, proving grit trumps green screens.

Cast secrets: Foster and Azabal's chemistry sparked off-script improv, birthing the most intense 'impulse travel' scenes. No body doubles for those rugged hikes; real sweat sold the romance. Current buzz? As 2026 rolls, whispers of streaming revivals and festival remasters have fans hunting originals. Fun fact: title 'Here' nods to GPS precision, but the map guy ends up lost in love. Poster production mirrored the film: minimal digital tweaks for max authenticity. King's visual bible? Armenian folk art meets modern minimalism, influencing the iconic imagery. Own this print, drop these nuggets at parties, watch jaws drop. You're not just a fan; you're the trivia terrorist.

FAQ's

Before you panic… welcome to our FAQ 👋 (Yes, we see you, Sherlock) Before going full John Wick on your keyboard, we’ve gathered the answers to the most common questions right here. Grab some Popcorn, your answer is probably just below 👇

Shipping & Returns

Shipping times, tracking, returns… everything you need to know before confirming your order like Neo choosing the red pill.

📦 Where do you ship ?

We don’t ship to Hawkins, Tatooine, or Westeros, but good news: we ship worldwide, including all across Europe, the UK, the United States, Canada, Japan, Australia, and many other destinations.

🎬 Quick movie reference: In Cast Away, Tom Hanks survives on a deserted island thanks to a lost FedEx package.

Iconic scene… but definitely not the delivery experience we want for your Here (2011) poster 😅

👉 That’s exactly why we work with our trusted partner UPS® to make sure your package doesn’t end up lost in the middle of nowhere with only a volleyball for company.

📦 With UPS®, we offer:

  • Standard or Express delivery
  • Home delivery or UPS® Access Point (relay pickup)

💰 Shipping rates:

  • €4.95 standard shipping
  • Free shipping on orders over €50 with UPS® Access Point delivery

📍 The UPS® pickup point selection is made after payment.

⚠️ Please make sure to enter a valid email address and phone number, they’re essential for real-time tracking updates and delivery notifications.

Bottom line: at Popcorn Poster, your package arrives safely at your door, not on a deserted beach with “HELP” written in the sand.

⏱️ How long does delivery take ?

Great question and don’t worry, the answer won’t last as long as Titanic.

📦 All orders leave our warehouses within 24 hours after being placed. No waiting around like Tom Hanks in The Terminal.

🚚 Two delivery options with our partner UPS®:

  • Express delivery: 24–48 hours, depending on the destination country ( Faster than The Flash, no super suit required )
  • Standard delivery: around 1-6 business days ( Perfect if you’re not in a rush like Frodo heading to Mordor )

📍 All shipments are fully tracked in real time.
⚠️ Make sure to enter a valid email address and phone number at checkout — they’re essential to receive UPS® tracking updates at every step of the journey.

🌧️ Real-world disclaimer : Occasional delays can happen due to weather conditions, high shipping volumes or unexpected events. No need to panic, we usually start investigating after 7 business days (excluding weekends).

🚀 Why UPS®?
Because it’s simply the fastest international carrier, with one of the best delivery services in the world. We’d rather invest in reliability than turn your delivery into a Mission: Impossible scenario.

💸 We cover a large part of the shipping costs, because our goal is simple: to offer you the best delivery service possible, wherever you are in the world, no compromises.

Bottom line: your poster arrives fast, fully tracked, and without any Indiana Jones level adventures.

📍 Can I track my order ?

Yes. And not just “kind of” 😌 As soon as your order leaves our warehouse, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with a UPS® tracking link.

📦 With UPS®, you can track your poster in real time, step by step, almost like Nick Fury monitoring his agents.

📲 For tracking to work perfectly, it’s very important to double-check all your details before placing your order:

  • Complete and correct delivery address (This happens every day: missing house number, wrong country selected, incomplete street name…)
  • Valid and accessible email address
  • Correct phone number

🎬 Let’s be honest:
All we want is for your package with your awesome new poster to arrive as fast as possible, and in perfect condition.

A quick check now saves you from needing a Back to the Future-style time travel to fix a wrong address.

📧 One more important thing about email:
Please don’t use a throwaway or inaccessible email address. We won’t spam you (we’re not Skynet), but:

  • UPS® pickup codes are sent by email
  • Delivery notifications too

Without access to your inbox, there’s unfortunately nothing we can do, and your package may vanish forever, like a lost VHS tape from the 90s.

🎥 In short:
You know where your package is, when it arrives, and how to collect it, no need to play Sherlock Holmes or watch the street like Walter White behind the curtains.

🔄 What if I want to return my poster ?

We get it, even Citizen Kane didn’t please everyone.

🎨 Custom posters

Custom posters are non-returnable and non-refundable. They’re printed specifically for you, like a James Bond–tailored suit: once it’s made, it’s yours.

📦 Non-custom posters

For non-custom posters, please refer to our detailed return policy at the bottom of the page, under “Delivery Issues”. This section clearly explains return, refund, and resolution conditions.

🚚 Delivery issues (delay, lost or damaged package) If:

  • Your order hasn’t arrived within the estimated timeframe
  • Your package is lost
  • Your poster arrives damaged

👉 contact us at hello@popcornposter.com. We’ll immediately work with the carrier (UPS®) to resolve the issue.

📅 Please note:
The carrier has a formal process and timeline to declare a package as lost, 15 days after the estimated delivery date. Before that, the package is officially still “in transit”.

⏳ Delivery delays & right to a refund

The right to a refund for delivery delays only applies if the delay is not caused by force majeure or circumstances beyond the seller’s control (weather conditions, strikes, exceptional events, etc.).

According to European Directive 2011/83/EU:

  • If no fixed delivery time is specified (only an estimate),
  • The seller must deliver the order within a reasonable timeframe, typically up to 30 days from the order confirmation

If this timeframe is exceeded, the seller is granted an additional one-week period to complete the delivery.

🎬 In short:
We never leave customers without support, but we also believe in solving things calmly, without a failed-season-finale level of drama.

Orders & Payments

Orders, payments & behind-the-scenes details (The part people skip… but shouldn’t)

💳 What payment methods do you accept ?

We keep it simple and secure 🔒

We accept:

  • Credit & debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
  • PayPal
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay

All payments are 100% secure. Even Bruce Wayne would approve this checkout.

✏️ Can I change or cancel my order ?

Yes… and we’ve even built in a little flexibility 😌

👉 After payment, you have a 30-minute window to contact us if you’d like to:

  • Change the poster size
  • Switch the frame color
  • Upgrade from unframed to framed

Because sometimes you realize after checkout that the black frame would look way better and that’s totally fine.

⏱️ After this 30-minute window, your order enters production. At that point, changes are no longer possible, kind of like trying to rewrite a movie after the end credits.

🖼️ Good to know about delivery:

  • Framed posters arrive fully framed, ready to hang
  • Unframed posters are carefully protected in a plastic protective film
  • A4 and A3 unframed posters are shipped flat, not rolled, to prevent any deformation and ensure a perfect finish right out of the package

Our goal is simple:

to make sure your poster arrives fast, well-protected, and exactly how you imagined it, no bad surprises.

🧾 Will I receive an order confirmation and invoice ?

Absolutely 😌

After placing your order, you’ll receive:

  • An order confirmation email
  • An invoice with all details

If you don’t see it, check your spam folder (sometimes emails disappear like mail at Hogwarts).

Need a custom invoice? Just contact us.

💥 My order arrived damaged, what should I do ?

First: breathe 😌
Yes, it can happen. Even with the best carrier in the world, a delivery driver can have a bad day, be in a rush, or your package can go through a real adventure during transit.

👉 The good news:
Since working with UPS®, damaged packages are very rare.
Trust us… you don’t want to know how many emails we used to get with our previous carriers 😅

That problem is now solved thanks to:

  • Stronger protection
  • Better packaging
  • Much more reliable delivery

But let’s be real :
Packages travel for several days. They can fall, be stacked, sometimes crushed… Honestly, we should put a GoPro inside a package to see what it goes through 🎥📦

🚚 When we hand packages over to UPS®, everything is perfect :

Paolo, our UPS® driver, comes by every day with a smile, packages leave well protected and damage-free. After that… they go on their journey.

👉 If you’re part of the 1% of cases where a package arrives damaged :

It’s not a big deal. it’s annoying (we agree), and trust me:

👉 if I ordered something and received it damaged, I’d be annoyed too.

Here’s what to do calmly 👇

  1. Take a photo of the package
  2. Take a photo of the poster
  3. Email us at hello@popcornposter.com

(with your order number, ex. #1001)

📩 Important - Customer support :
Our customer service is handled exclusively by email.

🙅‍♂️ Not via Instagram

🙅‍♂️ Not via TikTok

🙅‍♂️ And unfortunately… not by owls either ⚡🦉

Why ? Because email allows us to :

  • Properly track your case
  • Keep all information in one place
  • Respond quickly and efficiently

📬 Marion checks emails every single day and replies to everyone.

If we have all the required info, within 24 hours, we’ll find a solution together, fast, and one that works for you.

🙏 Friendly advice :

  • Please avoid ALL CAPS emails
  • Avoid aggressive or entitled tones

Otherwise Marion gets angry… and I have to deal with her being angry all day 😡😅

Nobody wins.

If Marion solved your issue (and trust us, she really solves them all), please consider leaving a Trustpilot review mentioning her name: Marion isn’t ChatGPT, she reads every review, and she’ll absolutely love seeing her name mentioned with positive feedback 👀😇

🎬 Bottom line :

We ship dozens of packages every day, we do everything we can to make sure everything arrives perfectly, and when something goes wrong, we own it and fix it.

Simple, human, efficient. 🫶

❓ I haven’t received my order, what should I do?

First things first, something very important 👇 (No panic, this isn’t an episode of Lost.)

👉 Make sure you entered complete and accurate contact details when placing your order:

  • Correct delivery address
  • Valid email address
  • Phone number

Without this information, even the best carrier in the world can’t work miracles.

📦 All orders are tracked via UPS®, and the tracking is (truly) extremely precise.

🎬 A quick look at your package’s journey:

  • As soon as we create your shipping label and attach it to the package → Bam, email
  • Every day around 12 PM, Paolo, our awesome UPS® driver, comes by to collect the parcels
  • Before your package even enters his super truck, Paolo scans each parcel one by oneBam, email
  • When he drops your package at the UPS® logistics hub for proper routing → Quick scan, Bam email

👉 Result: you receive an email at every single movement of your package. Your poster is tracked more closely than a main character in a TV series.

🖨️ Important note for custom posters:

Custom posters may require up to 24 additional hours of processing, depending on demand. Why ?

Because this one isn’t in stock, we create it ourselves, specifically for you. Nothing to worry about, it may just take a little longer, and that’s completely normal.

Now, real-world shipping reality :

Delays can happen (weather conditions, logistics issues, unexpected events). It’s not common, but it happens.

👉 We only really start worrying after 7 business days (excluding weekends).

If that timeframe is exceeded, contact us and we’ll immediately open an investigation with UPS®.

🎬 Bottom line:
We never leave a customer without a solution, but we also avoid jumping to conclusions like a Netflix thriller after 10 minutes.

If you’re really worried about where your order might be hiding, send us an email at hello@popcornposter.com and Marion will take care of the investigation with Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Machine 🕵️‍♂️🚐🍿

About Our Products

This is where we answer all the questions your brain asks while staring at a poster thinking : “Okay… but is it really that cool in real life?” Spoiler: it is.

🍿 What kind of posters do you sell ?

At Popcorn Poster, we don’t do “a bit of home decor.” We do cinema. A lot of cinema. Probably too much cinema. 🎬🍿

More specifically, our catalog includes thousands of movie and TV series posters, in multiple languages, sourced from cinemas all around the world.

Yes ! we’re talking about one of the largest movie poster catalogs in the world. And no, we’re not just saying that for fun (okay… maybe a little).

You’ll find posters from:

  • 🎥 cult movies you can quote by heart
  • 🏛️ timeless classics you deeply respect
  • 🚀 recent films that blew your mind
  • 📺 iconic TV series you binge-watched “just one episode”… until sunrise

And most importantly : 👉 in multiple languages, because cinema has never spoken just one.

🎞️ Where do our posters come from?

Our posters can be:

  • Original cinema posters, used in theaters around the world
  • Or high-quality reprints, when the original isn’t available in the size you choose

Either way, we’re obsessive about quality, so the final result looks amazing on your wall, not just accurate on paper.

🎬 What if I can’t find the movie or series of my dreams?

That’s exactly why we created CHOOSE YOUR MOVIE 🕶️ If you can’t find what you’re looking for :

  1. Simply type the movie or TV show name
  2. Choose the size
  3. And we take care of the rest

👉 No endless searching

👉 No comparing random websites

👉 No DIY headaches

You choose.

We print.

You receive your poster.

🎥 In short:

Popcorn Poster means:

  • A massive catalog
  • Worldwide cinema
  • Thousands of references
  • And the certainty that even if you don’t see it right away…

    👉 your movie exists here.
🖨️ Is the print quality actually that good ?

Let’s be honest right from the start :

👉 these are probably the worst posters of all time. Blurry, poorly printed, dull colors… Basically, the kind of quality you’d expect from a movie filmed on a phone in the back row of a cinema in 2004.

Okay, obviously not 😄 If that were true, we’d be selling bootleg DVDs in a parking lot.

🎬 Let’s get serious (but not too serious)

Our posters are designed to last, not just look good in an Instagram story.

🖨️ For reprinted posters (when the original isn’t available in your chosen size) :

  • We use eco-friendly, long-lasting, high-quality inks
  • Resistant to time and light
  • To avoid the “yellowing poster after a few months” effect

📄 The paper:

  • 240g museum-grade paper
  • Thick, premium feel
  • Elegant matte finish

Definitely not thin paper that wrinkles if you breathe near it.

🖼️ The frames:

  • Made of aluminum
  • Lightweight once on the wall
  • Won’t warp
  • Won’t lose color over time
  • Impressive lifespan

The kind of frame you hang, forget about, and still looks perfect years later.

🎞️ One important (and honest) thing to know

As you might expect :

👉 The older the movie, the more the print quality depends on the original source.

A movie poster from the 1970s:

  • Won’t always look ultra-sharp 4K
  • And that’s completely normal

It’s like watching The Godfather: Not Dolby Vision 2025, but that’s exactly part of its charm.

🎬 Bottom line:

Our posters are:

  • Carefully printed
  • Made with premium materials
  • Designed to last
  • And respectful of cinema history

Not a tired VHS, not fake overhyped 4K, but an honest, cinematic result, as it should be.

🖼️ Are the frames high quality ?

Let’s start with the truth: 👉 of course not.
We love wasting time, money, and energy selling terrible frames.

Okay, obviously no 😄 If that were the case, we’d do what everyone else does: cheap, fragile frames and “good luck assembling it yourself.”

🎬 A true story

At first, we used wooden frames. On paper, they looked nice. In real life? Not so much.

👉 Once on the wall, they warped over time.

👉 And during shipping… they could literally break apart.

So we made a simple decision:

🛑 stop using wood

✅ switch to aluminum

🖼️ Why aluminum?

Because:

  • It’s lightweight (no Final Destination moment for your wall)
  • It doesn’t warp
  • It doesn’t yellow
  • It keeps its color for years
  • And has an impressive lifespan

🎬 In short:

frames built to last longer than most movie trilogies.

🛠️ And most importantly… no IKEA-style assembly

When you order a framed poster from Popcorn Poster,

👉 it arrives already framed, ready to hang.

Not like:

  • Some poster sellers
  • Or an IKEA piece you assemble on a Sunday night with one screw left over

We do the work for you.

🎨 What we actually do (and yes, it takes time)

  • We select the frame (black, chrome, white…)
  • Carefully place the poster inside
  • Make sure no dust or hair sneaks in
  • Wrap everything in our protective sleeves
  • Place it in strong packaging
  • And off it goes 🚚🍿

✨ The finish

Our frames have:

  • A slightly matte finish
  • With just a touch of shine

Once on the wall or on a shelf, it makes a real difference in a home. Because a poster isn’t just decoration.

It’s:

  • An atmosphere
  • A soul
  • Your personality on display

You’re not going to pick a generic, ugly frame everyone else has.

👉 Your home represents who you are.

And every day, when you walk past your poster, you’ll feel that little moment of satisfaction. You’ll see 😌
